Loved the vid! I grew up riding in L.A. when these tricks were first being developed. Gave up riding when my best friend and riding partner commited suicide. Watching you guys riding brings back so many of my most favorite memories with him. Maybe one day I'll look you guys up and buy another bike. Would love to ride again.
I'm 45 now. Back in the 80's I owned an 85 Master, 87 FST, 88 Master, and 85 Predator. Just picked up a 2014 Master Repo. I still have my original Haro Mode 3 leathers, jersey, elbow guards and hammer knee and shin pads. My ass needs to lose about 60 lbs in order to even try stylin again. Just be crusin for now. Nice to see some old schoolers still hittin' the tricks.
I like this kind of riding so much more than the new stuff. Its too "circus like" for me. I'm trying to get back into BMX, and I'll definitely be going the old way...sweet riding fellas! (Weird coming from someone who is 26 haha)
i agree and yes im probably as old as these guys. i love the simple style of old school ridng. just seems to be better than spinning spinning spinning. lol im making a come back next year at 43 yrs old. it's such a great sport.
