What a cool event. Great job guys.
Thanks! It was really fun to film this one. Lots of nostalgia!
Best instrumental
Monstercat strikes again! It's a pretty funky tune. Thanks for watching!
I raced old school at MK 2007 . Scary it was 13 years ago . Good weekend . . I enjoyed every moment of the racing in 2007
Time does indeed fly! Which club did you race for?
Aperture BMX I didn't actually belong to a club but all the others sort of belonged to BAD BMX . Was it BAD ? Bloody hell I think it was called BAD . Dagenham BMX club . Old school summer series
It was bad . Barking and Dagenham
@@mlgs26 Awesome! BAD has been making a comeback recently. Their track was closed a few years ago (issues with the local council) but I think they've sorted it out now. If all goes well I'll be filming their regional later this year.
Aperture BMX I've not been there since 2008 . Was a right good crack with a top load of people . One of the best years of my life if not the best . That year or so in the old school was 10/10
Well cool, I built up a 1983 Torker a few years ago (I had a 280x BITD), candy red, everything NOS, candy red bullseye hubs, proclass polished rims, red torker stem, bars, harry leary turbo crank. Then I finally got on it to ride and it was tiny. I'm 6ft1 now, BITD I was 13, so I didnt figure just how small it would feel. My hands were down on the grips which seems 10 " from my knees. Was gutted. I'm very impressed these guys can still do the skills.
Sounds like a sweet ride, even if it was too small! Walking around MK19 made me wish I still had my Burner from back when!
Awsome video. Awsome bikes.
Old school BMX is pretty awesome. Thanks!
I wish i could go there 😍😍😍✨
🤞2022 ? Looks great fun 👍
It was a fun event, and hopefully RAD 2022 will happen. If it does, I'll try my best to be there!
Just curious, who bought the old school bmx bike that had the Hank and Frank frame with Botema forks, Phil Wood hubs, GT bars that were cut a inch narrower, Redline stem, GT post, Avocet racing saddle, Sugino cranks, GT pedals, and Suntour and Shimano accessories, and corked dropouts and fork? Chrome, red and blue... Sold on ebay about 12 years ago.
I have no idea about any of the buying or selling that might have happened at the event. I just walked around and filmed all the awesome bikes while wishing I still had my Burner from back in the day. :)
Hello como comprar una de esas bicicleta 🙋
Those bikes are part of BMX bike collections. You could have a look at the forum at radbmx.co.uk to see if anyone is selling one.
