This MOMENT deserves an Emmy. Tony. Grammy. Stellar Award. NAACP Image Award. Dove Award. And should be immortalized in the Television Hall of Fame, for posterity's sake. The sheer history of every little gay boy, growing up and shunned from being themselves, but often asked to share their gifts, is classic. It happen for me, when I sang at my grandfather's funeral and my dad coming to me and my brother, piano player, also gay, and said 'I didn't know you boys had that in you', to which my seven years senior brother replied, 'There's a lot you don't know about us'. Bless you Billy for singing so many of our lives and putting it in prime time.

I am battling rectal cancer. I am optimistic, but I do need emotional support. Seeing this episode of POSE and hearing Billy Porter lifted me so much. I got up off the couch and raised my hands to the Lord with tears running from my eyes. I cannot begin to explain how your singing touched my heart and spirit. I cannot even tell my people how much the song lifted me without tearing up and my voice becoming shaky. THANK YOU!!! All Praises to the Lord! I’m almost done with the whole series and I’m obsessed 🤩, as a mature heterosexual woman I honestly thought I was open minded, but this series really helped me to see the LGBT community with a compassion I didn’t know! @@angelogreenwood9766 true christians would know god created us all in his image. we are all sinners and we are all also children of god. be kind to thy neighbor, and that includes your gay or trans neighbor, as they were created in his image just as the rest of us were. you cannot cherry pick which parts of the bible you do and do not believe in. eating lobster is a sin according to the bible. wearing mixed fabrics is a sin according to the bible, and nearly every shirt is a combination of cotton and polyester. the bible also said to stone your rebellious son, and we don’t do that now for obvious reasons. we are born sinners as christ died for our sins. but that does not mean we need to judge others or bring them down, that in itself is a sin. we should not base faith off what can happen when we die, but rather how we can pay kindness and love forward as we live. those who tell the lgbt community they are going to hell are going against god’s word by saying so. you are in that moment, telling god his creation is not good enough for you. you are besmirching the beauty of what god has created. and remember the golden rule, always- “therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you: do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” (matthew 7:12.) i am sure you would not appreciate someone claiming to be from a religion of love and peace to all preaching damnation to you simply for living as god created you and intended you to live. stop using god’s word to go against god and push your own agenda. this is not what christianity is about, nor will it ever be. you are not a true christian and you yourself will be the one to never see the gates of heaven as long as you keep besmirching god’s creations. but a gay man or woman, a trans man or woman who lives kindly with their heart open, minds their business and does not harm others? they will see the gates sure as the sun rises, while you burn wondering where you went wrong. reflect.

This episode tore through me. I felt all kind of ways when the pastor led him on and then just rode past the bus stop. But in Pray Tell fashion he was like " this part of my life is truly over...fucc him" and got on the bus. EPIC
As Bishop Yvette Flunder once said "EVERYBODY AIN'T STRONG ENOUGH TO BE GAY." That pastor WANTED DESPERATELY to be strong enough to stand up and BE like Pray Tell, but alas, he was not that man, not that mighty.
He rode past that bus because he didn't want to be seen in public by his congregation with the little boy he turned out. It wouldn't look good on the image he was trying to hide, how many more little boys are out there.

I am so confused about religious groups... I walked by a conversion therapy program in my city and ... I filmed it, they were Christian and telling the LGBTQ+ youth something was very wrong with them. I cried.
What we have to do is imagine a world that we want to live in and be that imagination; make it real. God loves all of us.

I am so blessed and fortunate to be alive during this very moment. I am so grateful for you Billy Porter 4 going on pose and being brave enough to continue telling our stories. I see myself in you in so many ways and I love myself so much more for it now I have recently lost my best friend who is also gay to substance abuse. I was blessed enough to survive my battle with addiction. I am reclaiming my spirituality I am reclaiming that part of myself that says "I don't need your acceptance nor your tolerance but I do demand respect"
