    Being new to the digital mixer arena, I would like to see how to set up, from start to finish, a few channels for a live mix, and saving the scene.

      mixing or tracking with the X32 is fine. Doing both at the same time? Overdubs? Good luck.

    I have the x16 air. I like it because its 16 in and 16 out all in one. I dont know why they wouldnt do that for more channels because adding a 2nd component for the other 16 for this doesnt give a DAW proper monitoring for the 2nd set of 16. They need to make it all in one like the x16. Great video man. Very informative.

    I’m just going through the learning curve on the x32 rack. I want to use it for recording backing tracks at home, then also use it for playback on my live gigs. I have a focusrite 18i20 in the rack also. My plan is to input vocals and guitar through the focusrite and then into the x32 for recording and then playback through the x32 to the main Bose pro32 system. I’m using Ableton live 11. (Also learning curve)

    I'm using x32 in my studio using USB & Ethernet to pro tools then Ethernet out to p16 personal mixers too. Also have an s16 expand channels. Nice set up but lots of cables and tons of tech to get to know . Thanks for the vid even though it's 2 years old 🙏🏼 I WOULD LOVE some tutorials about using the effects built into the x32 and more of what you can use as functions on the front panel please

      Yes you can! Connect it to your daw with a usb 2.0 cable into the expansion slot and then a usb A into your computer. Watch my video on connecting the X32 to GarageBand for more info on that!

    The X32 series (X32, Compact, Producer & Rack) does not have Midas preamps, they are only designed by Midas. Also the snake boxes, S8/16/32 & SD8/16. But the Midas M32 and Behringer X32 preamps sound very similar. The difference is negligible.

    Are the 5 1/4 in aux outs technically separate outputs from the 8 XLR outs? Do you put the stage monitor mixes on those or can you use the XLRs? Where would one put the subwoofer?

    • @ytscksdabig1
      @ytscksdabig1 2 года назад +1

      The Aux Outs are set up to be used as insert In and Outs, e.g. reverbs, outboard compressors, etc.
      If you're not going to use an outboard crossover unit, you would need to either set up one of the 8 XLR Monitor outs with a LPF and as a "bass" out channel to your sub's power and input; or you can also set up one of the Aux channels to do the same thing.

    Can I run the app on Windows? I have an iPad Pro and an older iPad I can use but also have Ableton set up on PC and would rather run the mixer in a windows environment when working with my DAW.. or also just buy itself. How is this done?

    Does this work standalone, controllable from the front display? I would use it for synths so I don’t care too much about preamps

    Just purchased the X32 Rack to upgrade from my X Air 18. Is it possible to play break music from a USB drive plugged in to the front and control it from an iPad. Will the 8 channel stage box work with this mixer to expand to 24 inputs? Thanks in advance. I just liked and subscribed.

    Sorry dude... they're NOT Midas quality inputs. Same design but different components. If you need proof, go check out a guy called "Dave Rat" here on RUclips who has an actual tear down comparing Midas and Behringer boards where you can see the differences with regards to the inputs gain/head amp components. ruclips.net/video/XJDwJl9ZNAM/видео.html
