who would of thought I would spend some of my 19th birthday today watching a video from one of my biggest role models? I am actually pretty happy to watch something so informative and entertaining :-) :-)
Hey Kenji! I am actually thinking of applying to the UK for 2022 and have a lil trouble with shortlisting uni's. Can you perhaps make a video on how to shortlist universities and the factors we should consider while doing so? I'd very much appreciate and i'm sure many other students will too! :) Love your video's btw! I hope to get into a good university in the UK! :D
Hi Kenji,I might be studying biomedical science next year, but I don't knoe,Can u do a video on how it was like for you to start biomedical science and what other progression their is.
hey so im currently working on my personal statement for biomedical sciences and i have done literally everything except PHYSICAL OFFLINE WORK EXPERIENE....i have done many online courses and Brighton and susssex med school work experience programme and have also done online research projects ...so basically everything ive done is online ...as the situation in india is still not that gr8 in terms of COVID ...is it fine ...do i stand a chance...??
2yrs late but really wanted to know is work experience required for biochemistry or biological sciences?? and if i do not do them will it have a big impact?
Hey you've probably gotten in by now but I'll just say that work experience isn't some sort of a non negotiable term when it comes to undergrad application. Your purpose is to show the unis that you're truly interested in what you're applying to and you have the skills it takes. Work experience can certainly help explain that but its not the only way. You could be an independent learner, do projects and independent research etc. Just gotta show the uni that you have done something relevant to your selected course outside your academics because that potreys your interest in the subject. Also, as far as i know, for biochemistry work experience is not even a criteria they dont expect you to have it at all. But definately do the placement year in your degree if your uni gives you the chance.
I wanna apply for medicine but for my insurance choice, I wanna choose bio med so do I have to write a personal statement for both medicine and biomedical science? Or can I write one for both courses?
Nice painting in the background, you're really talented!
Haha thanks man 🙃
