    See this is exactly why I love you guys. What amazing lights and output! While the stock lights of course have that classic appearance, the Morimotos just blow it out of the water in an absolutely perfect appearance and upgrade to a modern look without looking cheap or riced out. Amazing! Still blows me away coming from the 2000s with the "altezza lights" lol.

      Altezza's were all the rage back then! We're in a great time period right now with all the aftermarket lighting options. Just need to sift through the BS sometimes. One thing is for sure, you can always count on Morimoto XB's to deliver!

    Been hearing a lot of feedback saying these lights will throw a code (802C and 802D) on 997.1’s. 997.1’s also experiencing flickering high beam and low beams not working at all. I know you have a .2 gt3 but did you have any codes thrown? Thanks!
    Update: codes are from poor alternator or battery health which affects the voltage detected by the included black box. You can circumvent this issue by tapping the DRLs directly into your fuse box.

    • @LightwerkzGlobal
      @LightwerkzGlobal  Год назад +3

      The users having trouble are the ones with thew adaptive headlights. No codes will be displayed when coming from the single xenon headlights since they are not adaptive. Morimoto should be releasing some detailed information on exactly how to program the vehicle so there are no codes present once the installation is complete.

      @@LightwerkzGlobal there’s been group and forum members with 997.1’s without the adaptive headlights that are throwing codes (802D 802C) as well with low beam not working at all and high beam flickering.

    Personally, I’d spend the money on repainting that sand-blasted front clip and getting it PPF’d.
    997.2 was peak GT3 - the drive and for me, the looks too.

      @LightwerkzGlobal  2 месяца назад

      Coincidentally, the customer just stopped by a few days ago. The whole front end was repainted and the car had PPF. It was mint!

    They really need to make an adaptive set for the 997 platform

    • @LightwerkzGlobal
      @LightwerkzGlobal  7 месяцев назад

      Would be ideal! But it's not realistic. I don't know of any aftermarket adaptive assemblies for any model. But we offer projector retrofits on the adaptive 997.2 lights. Can offer painted internals also. Best of both worlds if you want a more aggressive look without any compromises!

    My DRL for my passenger side light has a flicker when the low beam is on. It isn’t consistent. Do you know why this could happen?

    • @LightwerkzGlobal
      @LightwerkzGlobal  5 месяцев назад

      I doubt you have any loose connections. Looks like it could be a power supply issue or a weak ground perhaps. Hard to say. Are you running the wiring to the internal fuse box for the DRL?

    • @NLG001
      @NLG001 5 месяцев назад

      @@LightwerkzGlobal I have everything connected as instructed in the Morimoto install video. If it was my alternator or battery wouldn’t both sides flicker? I do think I have seen the interior dome light brighten and dim when the door is open but not sure if it is related..

    hi i had these light for about 4 months now and their are 2 problems with them i installed them on my 997 turbo and the extra wire you extend from the battery to the light seems to still use the battery even when the car is off which led to my cars battery running out and the second problem is the daylight function seems to not work always it turns on and off by itself and sometimes not even working.

    • @LightwerkzGlobal
      @LightwerkzGlobal  Год назад +1

      Run the wiring directly to interior fuse box for switched power source. This is the way.
