I use this as a highlift alone with 30vol but I am naturally a shade 7 - this is designed for highlift shades 7 and above not to tone as it lifts & tones at the same time. You may have been better with a shade 10 wella like 10/16 to tone over bleach with a 10 vol developer. Your hair still looks in good condition
Just an advice from a professional:
Whatever over a level 10 at any brand shouldn't be used as a toner.
Level 12 is a very aggressive dye that is supposed to be mixed with a 20-30or even 40 volume developer to give you maximum lift without using bleach.
So if you are already using bleach you shouldn't be using that to tone your hair. It will give you a result but you are damaging your hair without gaining anything extra.
You can get the same results ot even better with an illumina 10/81 with a 6vol developer.
There are tons of formulas on the internet for amazing colors on bleached hair.. :)
Yeah, I know. I usually tone with 1.9% with Wella color touch but this video was filmed a while ago and I just felt like testing it out.
@@MBeauty To be honest with you i could see a few older salons in my country do something like that, but it's just unnecessary.
Also 1.9% CT should be mixed only with CT colors. If you are using anything else, illumina, Koleston perfect etc try the welloxon pastel also 1.9%.
Shinefinity has some bomb colors which are the most delicate and damage free toners out there. But the color doesn't last as long in my experience.
Experimenting on your hair could be dangerous and I never recommend it but.. with research and taking advice from legit sources could help. Wish you the best! And if you find an extraordinary combination or trick don't forget us ;)
hi my roots are a medium brown can i use the 12/81 instead of bleach to lighten it to a blonde root like the bleach would?
After bleaching your hair you're using a hi-lift hair color to tone?
It looks really nice, I kinda like the fact that it’s a tad warmer towards the ends ✨
I love your shirt. It looks good with your hair kinda like how black clothes look good with dark hair. If I’m making any sense.
Thank you! ❤️ I got what you mean 🤗
Hi,after bleaching your hair you should use ammonia free dye or toner. You can burn your hair and it will break. You can use wella color touch or any ammonia free dye.😘
You're right! I was just so curious about the color 🙊 but like you said, it does burn the hair so it's not a good idea for bleached hair 😂Thanks for the tip! 😘
OMG
Your hair is just amazing!!!!
Thank you! 🙈
You remind me of my sister and her journey trying to be of that shade
Looks nice. I like it Just yesterday i found put about this color and found the shade in Wella and other brands as well. Did you try something else later?
I have medium brown hair and trying to frame my hair with this (no bleach), I hope it lifts 1 tone at least 🤞🏼
I think it'd work if you're using 30 vol or 40 vol (that's what's recommended for high lift) but it might work with 20 vol as well without damaging it too much. Good luck! 🤗
hi i want to do the exact same thing, can you tell me if it worked ?
Hi i know its a year ago love but try the Loreal Dialights there much better for your hair ..you do not use 20% and buy a diactivator at 2.7% there acid free too xx
Hi! I actually tried the Dialights but I think I received a bad one since it made my hair super dry, even though I used 2.7%.
I actually love using Wella color touch in the shade 10/6 now
hello, how many minutes did you leave the hair dye on your hair?
It’s a high lift colour not a toner geezessss
You use kolestone after bleach or without bleach?
I used it after bleaching my roots
What peroxide did you use for toning? :)
I used 20 vol (6%) but honestly that's a little harsh on blonde hair.
What did you use to bleach the hair roots?
I used blondme bleach with 30 vol blondme developer
Mix 12/81 with 12/96
Heyy! Did you mixed it 1:1 or 1:2?
Hey! 1:2
@@MBeauty Thank you :) !
You're welcome ❤️
Turned me purple. Not a great brand for Wella
