Can you recommend a salon that uses this color near Rockland county NY ?? I am looking for a highly skilled colorist !!!! My hair was done with bleach ( highlights ) about a week ago and I hate the results and need a color correction. I would greatly appreciate a response !

Hiya I’m not an expert but the 12/11 is a blue pigment, And because at the back your hair was most likely to of been lighter so if you are still black/dark grey, use the bleach , with a 9% peroxide, then use a base shade, so say 8/0 Wella rich natural, then when your hair is near a level 12 ish use a 12/89or 4 the warmth 12/03 . The 12.11 is ONLY to be used as a special mix for Ginger so always stick to what I’ve said and also on virgin hair. Or over processed at the end, do not let the hair colour. Rise through the ends or it will go gray. And don’t brush through chic. Xx

I use koleston 12/89 and I do have some grey in my hair - what do I use when I go all grey?

I love the results but have always been told that if you have clients who already have colour on their hair then you can lift colour with colour, only bleach. Are you recommending using highlight colours on only virgin hair? Most of my clients have already coloured hair

It should only be used on hair that has not been colored. Otherwise, you are going to have to use bleach.

I used half 10/0 with 10/1 with 6%on roots. But I have some white roots, so need to lift with stronger peroxide. As its does not take.
