- I want to thank Myles Shank for making this original video. I think it is a great guide to being a camera assistant for a steadicam operator and gives a lot of tips to know before getting on a film set.
Check out the original video, there is a lot more information I left out.

Thank you for the video! Can you introduce other company's products? (ex GPI PRO, FLOW CINE??)
I would really love to, but I don't have access to them. I have talked to some companies so hopefully something will be in the works 😁
7:41 I've seen a cart flip with just a 2065 and body on the Mitchell mount of a Magliner. Yes, it was my cart, and yes it was my fault (luckily it was just a de-lensed Epic MX). It's terrifying, and once you witness it, you will never let it happen again
That sounds horrible but glad it didn't end up too bad
I’m suprised how many OPs fly with a battery on the camera. The OP that I AC for runs power right into the sled. All I have to worry about are the sled batteries.
I get that. Sometimes I do it too. But the added weight is important when trying to do slow smooth moves. Also, it makes it not my responsibility 😁
13:05 a nice break time
😁
