    Great info dude. Thanks a lot.
    Would be greater if you could show accessories mounted on your Steadicam. To show what you mean instead of imagining.

    Hey James, awesome
    Video!!
    Quick question: about the cam jam plate (and since I get no reply from them). I wanted to know if the integrated QR plate is 120mm? Or the 80mm?
    Appreciate it man, thanks!

      Hey Leo! Great question. I'm not exactly sure. But I do know that it its all the big OConnor heads like a 2575. So if I were to guess I think its the 120mm. Either way it has holes at the bottom so if it doesnt it the head you're using you can screw on any plate into the bottom of the SOS plate and then pop it on your fluid head. Hope that helps

    Hey James! What Rods are you using for your low mode monitor?

    • @JamesMarin
      @JamesMarin  2 года назад

      Sorry for the late reply! It is a custom made bracket that is attached directly to the Volt box on my sled. Its made by Sal over at Cinematic Precision.

    I have an aero 30 Steadicam and am thinking of getting low mode bracket and 12' rod. Can you tell me, does gymbal handle turn upside down when attached with pin to 12' rod?

    • @JamesMarin
      @JamesMarin  Год назад +1

      Correct. Your gimbal handle is upside down when the low mode bracket’s post goes into the handle. The 12” post is great for getting ultra low but is much easier to control your operating with a bigger rig with more inertia. I have a feeling that you won’t have as much control with your aero 30 and a 12” low mode bracket. But I could be wrong. I’ve never tried it with an aero 30. Good luck!

      @@JamesMarin great, thanks for the detailed answer. I've kinda built out my BM camera to be heavier and I have a 1.5kg led plate, for some extra weight/inertia.
      How exactly do you manage sled/post/camera as you mount gymbal handle to 12' post?
      Can you set it up on steadicam stand and then pick it up from that

    • @JamesMarin
      @JamesMarin  Год назад +1

      @@kevbomb with the 12” post you usually have to find a height that is comfortable for you to pick up when the sled is upside down. The length of the 12” post can make it tricky to pick up if you don’t find a comfortable height on your stand

    From where I can get the long plate?

    • @JamesMarin
      @JamesMarin  Год назад

      I have unfortunately have forgotten where I purchased it from. I believe someone in a steadicam facebook group makes it.
