The Chipettes were adopted by Miss Miller in the cartoon, that was their last name. I'm guessing that's why Dave doesn't adopt them in this film. I didn't think this film was that bad for the franchise but what annoyed me was when the Chipmunks save Miles, Alvin goes 'we haven't been fair to you from the start' Miles was bullying you and your brothers at the start, of course you weren't fair to him. That bugged me that they didn't resolve the whole Miles being a bully for no good reason, they just passed it off as 'oh, his dad left him'.

Hilarious review for a hilarious movie. Theodore's eyes forever man! I feel like this movie would be the exact way a road trip would go: filled with some highs and lows, a bunch of different scenery with people you grow to love/hate over time, with the majority of the trip being potentially pointless until the destination. All in all makes for an interesting trip.
The next Chipmunks movie should be a rom com with the chipmunks taking the chippettes to bars and strip clubs. They will take drugs, smoke weed, and endorse cocaine. They get high af.
