Aye!! I appreciate you my guy. I’m glad you enjoy this theme, and as mentioned before, I stand by this theme and I will try my absolute best to keep it updated. To your viewers, I’m open to any criticism and suggestions you may have. Thanks again!
So you want me make one that does not have the release year on them? If so, no problem. I’ll make a separate version with these changes. I’ll let it be known on here once I’m done.
Either you have some folders named wrong or you have rarer consoles which don’t have icons yet. If you reply here with which console icons are missing, the theme designer could add them in an update.
@@RGGeek Aaahhhhhhhhhh! 🤤😵💫🥴 Could you make a video on how to properly put roms with games on the second memory card and with what extensions? Some don't work for me.
@@rhtr. Aaaaaah, you mean they don't show up... or that they show up and don't work. My Sega CD games (bin/cue) don't work, but everything else is working fine. Which systems/games don't work for you?
@@RGGeek @RG Geek On the new micro SD card (Samsung Select Evo) with installed garlicOS and formated to FAT32 partition "ROMS" they just don't show up or most of the systems. Atari 2600 is ok, GBA also but MAME and CPS etc. not. Even with PSX is a problem (.PBP and .iso files so the correct format). Same with many systems (I have folders created). Same thing with stockOS when I put sd in te ext.2 slot. Should I have everyhing unpacked in the folders? Some PSX games are and system can't see them. That's why I ask for correct folders and extensions names for the files. I even downloaded romset preapared for myioo. Should it work with Garlic?
Ah, sounds mostly like an arcade issue. Even though this guide is for the Miyoo Mini, I believe it should apply to GarlicOS as well: www.reddit.com/r/MiyooMini/comments/vfirs8/ultimate_miyoo_mini_arcade_guide_onion_os/ I’ll consider making such a video, but at least in the meantime you’ll have this arcade guide!
@RGGeek I appreciate the response. This is my first device, I'm sure I'll buy more over time. But Im not sure how important retro achievements are. I feel like I want to get into it but I don't know what I'm missing
@@RedBeardRetroTech It's basically a site that made up achievements and there's developers who hack them into old retro games. So, it's like modern gaming where you're playing and then an achievement pops up. It's pretty cool, but some say it ruins the pure retro experience.
Just recently uploaded the latest revision. Has most of the fixes needed. Looks damn near perfect.
Awesome, keep up the excellent work and I look forward to getting this on my handheld very soon! :)

Thank you ☺
The only ask I have for the icons. Maybe version without a year - just picture and logo of the system?

how did yours come with all of these console icons. mine is missing a bunch of these.

Nice video 👍
Now I'll go to my fridge for some garlic to eat 🤠

How did you managed to line all your games list to the left? Mine is positioned at the center and i find yours more clean. :)
It's just part of the RetroArch theme! I think there's a .css file in the /skin folder where you can set alignment, but don't know more than that.
Do you have to connect a link cable to the fresh Garlic to update?
No, you have to put the SD card in your computer and replace the /CFW/skin folder with the custom theme folder.
I appreciate the videos,
I'm stuck between rg35xx and the rg353v
$70 for wifi and analogs. Does not having wifi really make or break this decision?
I’d say if you really want RetroAchievements, spend the extra money. Otherwise, I’d say it’s not worth it.

i wish i had got analogs looking back. idc about wifi though.
I love this theme on RG35XX! that's the one I will use!
Awesome, I love it too!! The theme creator said he'll keep improving it too, so if you have any feedback, he'll likely read it here. :)
@@RGGeek That's great!! Thanks for letting me know!
great video, please test more themes.
