Great video my dude. Totally agree, reducing anything to “best” is a disservice to the nuance of this hobby and the viewers themselves. That said, the Bizazzle is a great choice! As much as I love the Miyoo Mini Plus on Onion, all of the various custom firmwares (which admittedly have mostly been refined for the other XX handhelds) have really stepped up the Bizazzle’s value across 2024.
Well said. It's crazy how much these things evolve with new firmware. I wasn't nuts about the Bizzazzle when it launched but it feels like a whole different device now!

Love my MMP. So simple I give it to my 5yo to play. It has almost 300 hours played. The performance is lower but the portability is better. It is more size optimized than the rg35xx+. Also, got burned with a 351p that had light bleed and the screen died, so I decided to try Miyoo and was not disappointed.
I honestly stopped watching other youtubers focused on retro handhelds because all their reviews are pretty much the same except this guy's videos he really makes them as unique as possible with a distinctive style.

Yay! Everyone's making their end of year videos. My absolute favorite videos of yours are your hidden gems vids! I've been playing Mazes of Fate on your recommendation and it is SO good. There are lots of hidden gems videos on RUclips but you always pick games that are actually obscure and are always total bangers.
I've always preferred the RGXX line to the Miyoo Mini and was always a little sad to not see vids like this about them, so thank you for giving them the love letter I believe has been long overdue!

Just came across your channel to figure out which discount handheld to get as a sideline Christmas gift for my kids a couple weeks ago but this was a incredibly well balanced objective culmination of multiple different aspects, all explained and broken down excellently and clearly for any user level, with reasonable justifications for each piece and subset. Great great great job - the complexity of the task that you took on and the way that you approached it and came to a solution, and then explained that solution was just next level
The XX line is truely amazing for the whole retro community. It sets the benchmark for cheap / accessible but quality device. Imo, the only other device that can complete at this price point is Trimui Smart Pro because of its huge screen and real sleep mode. If XX line can get real sleep mode and maybe a 16:9 ratio version for psp than anbernic will conquer the cheap device market
the true sleep mode not being present for XX devices is because of the H700 chip, apparently it just can't do standby. Anbernic will probably have to change chips next year because they've pretty much exhausted the market for low end devices. They *could* use the same chip as the Smart Pro to get true sleep and therefore be able to release a whole new series of devices, but that would be a downgrade of WiFi chip and worse Portmaster support. I don't think any Rockchip besides the RK3566 would justify a new line of devices either. There apparently exists a 3562 but no device with it exists yet.

My only addition would be to try to get the OLED version of the It-Depends. As for colours, my favourite is the Limited Edition It-Depends that came with the orange and black lining. This year I finally replaced my trusty GB Pocket from the 1990ies with a RG35XX (Old) after watching lots of RGC and your channel on how to add custom OS, ports and such. Since then I picked up the XX-H, a Cube XX and made a couple of 35XX's for friends as birthday gifts. In the end, the good old RG35XX with Garlic is probably the dearest to my heart and it definetly got the most playtime. Still all the other devices are super sweet. One can never have enough gaming in a pocket format. Thank you so much for all the useful insights on retro gaming on the go!
Love the intro bro 😂 I've bought almost every handheld we've talked about this year except the premium gameboys / advance (ayaneo) my fav for the year / most used are the RG35XXSP and the Retroid P4 Pro. Currently waiting on my Retroid P5 and the TrimUi Brick! Got some SPs for my nephews this Xmas too 🙌🏽
You really explained this well! My personal favorite is the RG28xx because of the size and form factor. Second favorite is the Miyoo Mini (v4.1 with RTC).

whole heartily agreed Mr. Dweeb! I bought the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro at launch because it was "The best" in many youtubers videos, but turns out, I BARELY played it. A huge reason for that was the size, I wanted something I could toss in my pocket and not a bag and just have on me. I ended up selling my retroid and picked up a Miyoo Mini (off your your LITNXT affiliate link, might I add) and it has been a GAME CHANGER. At the end of the day, much like the saying of "the best camera is the one that you have on your" the same holds true for retro handhelds! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays TechDweeb and all of my fellow dweebs out there.
For me, I would lean towards something like the Miyoo Mini v4 or the TrimUI Brick as the "one size fits all" emulation handheld. A pocketable Everyday Carry device, if you will. The RG35XX+ is probably a better choice overall, but I think portability is king when it comes to handhelds. I want to evoke that "bring your Game Boy to school" feeling!
After years of watching retro handheld videos I fnally bought some! And this video makes me pretty happy with my choice haha. I love the vertical ones so I chose a miyoo mini plus for on the go, and an RGXX40V for playing on my house. Thanks for all the great reviews that helped me make my mind TD, I'm very much enjoying them!
My favorite and the best for me is the rg35xxsp. My favorite system to emulate. I love it's form factor and my first ever self bought system was a GBASP nes edition
Oh heck yeah. I think anyone who has nostalgia for the GBA SP will definitely choose the Flipzizzle over the Bazzizzle. I really hope Anberlick does a new flip, with the screen they're using on the 34XX.
More than half the fun of these retro handheld devices, for me at least, is trying out all the new custom firmware. Out of the box experience means nothing at all...if you care about that just buy a device from Nintendo or Sony. But no, don't do that. Don't waste money on brand names.

I literally found you yesterday cause I was looking for an emulator to play some gba rooms on my phone and suddenly all this adds of Chinese handhelds and honestly I thought there were plain garbage since I see them often in Temu and AliExpress. But I watched some videos here and there and kinda find them interesting especially the retro vibes look some of them have. And suddenly it appear me one of you videos and damn homie I started to see a lot of your videos the way you present and explain things were crystal clear to me that this funky devices are worthy. I guess I could understand this choice since my favorite devices are my 35xxSP and cubeXX and since they share a lot with this one I could see liking this one as well. Also side note my wife just gave me the keyboard you have displayed in this video and am so in love with typing on it vs my previous keyboard (a razor blackwidow 2019 with green switches)
@@TechDweeb Hey Dweeb! Do you think if the next Retroid Pocket 6 device has all the strengths of the current model, but is just a little bit smaller so that it is pocketable. Do you think that would make it worthy of "best" ? I ask because I much prefer AndroidOS over LinuxOS due to the more support, Apps, Services, and Native Games. And that I want to lean towards more of the high-end stuff, like emulating beyond PS2 with the more modern 16:9 games. I know the best options for that are the ASUS ROG Ally and Valve SteamDeck, but these are strictly indoor devices, and need a backpack to take with you. I would like something high-end that was actually pocketable. My previous solution was the Samsung S10+ and Razer JungleCat, great ergonomics, pocketable, and the QSD 855 chipset is fast and furious and has aged well. But I need to upgrade because the government is shutting down the signals, and need a proper 5G phone. Thank you, Mr Dweeb ! (watch out for the ladies)
So I own the MiyooMini+ (pre-Onioned) and RG53xxSP (Stock) and others, and when asking non-retro dweebs like my niece and my coworkers, and friends , The MiyooMini+ is always the one chosen, I think the DMG-ness and the OnionOS ease of use along with the instant game switcher and sleep really makes the difference for most people. Great video as usual though!

It's funny, but I just got my nephew an RG35XX last week. He fell in love with retro gaming at a trade show. It was the obvious choice for me, as it captures the essence of retro gaming perfectly. Playing the games of my childhood with him and seeing the excitement in his eyes took me back to when I first got my hands on a Sega.
I’m gonna make a Bizazzle label for mine. My thing is being able to play old arcade games because I’m old. I like goofing around with other systems as well.
I just did this with my friend. He's mid 60s, I have old friends, I'm the kid in the group, in most situations, at 36. I never liked my peers. ANYWAYS, he saw me with my retro handhelds and was like, "I want one." And I was like, "Cool, guess who's on a major screw everything, everything must go kick so I could probably give you one? I am, and you know I only have 20 different types." So last thursday we met up for lunch at our favorite Mexican joint that's so good and so cheap, and I brought literally half a dozen over for him to figure out what size he wanted. He gravitated (naturally) to the $1200 GPD Win 4, so I sold him my Odin 2, which I don't love since its too big, for $100. I don't believe in screwing over my friends, and I already have two new retros coming in, the 406V and the RP 5. So, I'm not starving for handhelds. Still have my RP 4 Pro (my favorite), Odin Mini, Anbernic Cube, RP Flip, and others. That Odin 2 is way overpowered for his needs and is the nice translucent blue.
The XX and + crap don't help. The numbers are nice because they're a rough of the screen size. The v and H are nice as well to quickly known the orientation.
I feel it took forever for people to crack the code (AKA, the number indicates the screen size), but I generally enjoy the names. I think TechDweeb's names are funny, but the official names just make too much sense IMO
That's a great choice! I agree with everything you said. Personally, I've fallen into the trap of buying too many handhelds to count, and have settled on the RG40XXV (I think the proper name may be the Bigzizzle). I really like the larger display, solid controls, the added comfort of a larger device, and even that cardinal snapping analog stick isnuseful sometimes!
I bought the 40XXV thinking that I would use the analog stick... I might have to rethink my options here. I really like the form factor and the way it looks. That SWEET SWEET Retro look. You convinced me. I'm Bezazzled!
@ Haha, thanks! It’s my first one. I installed GammaOS and it’s been great. Just had to tweak some things, download a few external emulators but everything has been great so far.
@@TheMysteryDriver I definitely noticed the heft. And I do wish the bumpers and triggers weren’t in-line. Not a deal breaker. I also noticed the device is slightly too small, not a huge issue. And I wish the D-Pad was on top. Other than all that, I still think it’s awesome.
Great video once again there Mr Dweeb! I myself own the rg cube and the rg35xx sp and they are both great devices! Of course the rg cube is more powerful than the 35 SP but the 35 SP is just so sweet... the form and functionality of it is solid, it plays what I want and is absolutely just amazing for what you pay for it I'm sure as you know Mr Dweeb, it's the same exact device as the one you crowned here in this video except for the ergonomics of course (clamshell as opposed to upright) it's amazing what they can put in the palms of our hands today. I remember when the original game boy came out I was about 13 years old and my buddies little brother got one for Christmas and I couldn't believe my eyes and now here we are.. good stuff!
Good video! There are so many options, so it can be hard to pick a "definitive" one as everyone has different criteria for their handhelds. For me, the Steam Deck still is my absolute favorite to play anything and everything, but it does come with a bit of a learning curve to set things up (especially to play non-Steam games). Though, for a more portable retro gaming experience, I'm a huge fan of any of the Retroid Pockets or the RG35XXSP (the GameBoy Advance SP is still one of my favorite handheld designs).

Great the transparency with which you communicate, I've always known that your favorite is the Miyoo Mini. A few months ago, after watching many videos about retro handheld devices, I also came to the conclusion that the RG35XX Plus was the most balanced option in terms of aesthetics, price, and performance. Very happy to have it, highly recommended. In the future, I only hope it doesn’t lose support or that a firmware as solid as OnionOS for Miyoo gets developed.
You hit the nail on the head for me. I love my 35XX+ for all the same reasons. And yeah, that's not to say there aren't other devices I like the look of, the Analog DMG would be the pick if money was no objective, for a lot of what I play the square screen of either Cube would be better, I love the modern aesthetic of the 40XXV and TrimUI Brick. But so far I've not felt enough of an urge to come away from my little "Gameboy" and I can't see that changing any time soon (at least until Anbernic finally released a Cube XXV with DMG colour scheme)
This was my first retro handheld and I loved it so much, it definetely satiated all my nostalgic needs. It also sparked the beginning of my downfall into the rabbit hole. I then got the rg35xx-h and then the rp4pro. I ended up selling my rg35xx plus, I kinda regret it, but I couldn’t justify having so many devices. The device is really beautiful to look at.
I had a feeling this is the one you were going to choose, although I am more than happy with the Miyoo Mini Plus on Onion OS. The Bizzazzle though, looks great as an all rounder with all the extra features, can't go wrong at that price 👌
Well, shoot, Dweeb. I already bought a MM+ and love it to death, thanks to you. I then bought a second one yesterday for my wife for Christmas ($40 on marketplace!). But now I'm wanting one of these too. Damn you!
I feel the same. I love my mm+, but I have to be rational. I think the only aspect where mm+ wins is the OS system. Bizzazzle has more battery, is a little bit more comfortable to hold, much more power, HDMI out and bluetooth (which I wanted so much mm+ had these two)
My very first retro handheld was the zazzbizzle (AKA the RG35XXH), and I still think it's a rock-solid machine... even using the stock OS. I recently succumbed to the pressure and bought a squazizzle (RGCUBEXX) and while I do appreciate the larger screen and how well it works with GameBoy and other squarish ratio screens, it feels like a cheap, hollow toy in my hands compared to the meaty solidity of the H. The CubeXX pays for it's friendlier ergonomics by being nearly twice the size and bulk of the H as well. Another thing I found out is that my old-man eyes can't see a 3.5" screen without using reading glasses, and STILL can't see a 4" screen without reading glasses, so the size difference is somewhat pointless from that aspect. Another great video, btw. Keep up the amazingly dweeby work m'man.
I just now finished setting this up for my buddy for Christmas got it for 55 bones and put muOS on it, my buddy has never had a emulation handheld before. I think it's a good value.
Yep! I appreciate your emphasis that one person’s preference of system may not be the best for others. My two cents are: if you’re waffling because you want the perfect system for you, just dive in and pick one. You won’t get a good feel for what you want until you start playing with one. I’m in Miyoo land myself. I like it here. The systems are portable and I like OnionOS, ‘cause I’m a Linux nerd. I’ll probably branch out in the future to an Ambernic, but right now I’m happy with what I’ve got. Go pick, go play. So long as a system meets the minimum of what _you_ want it to do, and the price is good for you, chances are, you’ll be happy.
Yup.. aftwr watching this.. every hand held is different from person to person.. what is most important is that , the one u are going to buy is able to play what retro game u like most.. if u love playing Nes buy device that suits it.. i love to play PS1 game R36S what im having now is just perfect. No lag screen is just nice have two joy stick.. and yet if im able to buy retroid 5 i will able to play PSP and PS2 game as well and thats is a bonus.. thanks for the great video yet educational..❤
It was Awesome Seeing Devilish On the Genesis in this Video. One of my Fav games on that system. There really isn't an Ultimate Handeld in my Opinion, I still like using my Powkiddy X55 besides the clicky buttons (which doesn't bother me) I think its one of the best handhelds. I have the Odin 2 and waiting for the Rp5 to come thru but at the end of the day its about playing games. Joey has been preaching a lot lately about actually playing games instead of watching videos of them, and I'm gonna start doing that. My Personal Ultimate Device would also function as a phone TBH
If you could ever get your hands on a Much i7s for a Review, (it's a real phone that has integrated gaming controls, the last best one in my opinion) I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Your Voice( and influence) on it might make companies want to make more devices like this in the future. (Team all in one device)
Finally a video where the goat is not the miyoo mini plus! I got the bizzazzle as my first handheld as a complete illiterate, it was just released and i choose it over the mm+ since slightly more powerful and also I thought is newer, so must be better. Then i regretted a bit gettingnitbso fast since the H version (cant remember the real name, i mean the rg35xxH). My third is a mmV4, and i love it but honestly don't get all the hype, still prefer the anbernic. And you saying now it's the best is saving me a lot of further handheld money lol.
I know it DEFINITELY falls into the enthusiast category but my Odin 2 Pro gets a lot of playtime. Having a ps2 capable handheld in your bag with DAYS of battery life really comes in handy. My miyoo mini+ definitely gets an honorable mention for user friendliness and pocketability though. Ive played many snes and ps1 rpgs on it
I have a Miyoo Mini Plus which I love, but I got my son an Rg35XX Plus, and honestly ......it feels much better built than my Miyoo. The buttons in particular feel like a big upgrade. I recommend it.
I think Trimui Smart Pro is the best right now. It's cheaper than a lot of the XX with around the same amount of power maybe more and two form factors so you can choose horizontal or mini brick style.
@@hyperplayrpg The only downside, though not a huge one for me personally. I have nearly the exact same setup on my pc so other than moving saves around I can play everything on the big screen without connection anyway.

This year I finally replaced my trusty GB Pocket from the 1990ies with a RG35XX (Old) after watching lots of RGC and your channel on how to add custom OS, ports and such. Since then I picked up the XX-H, a Cube XX and made a couple of 35XX's for friends as birthday gifts. In the end, the good old RG35XX with Garlic is probably the dearest to my heart and it definetly got the most playtime. Still all the other devices are super sweet. One can never have enough gaming in a pocket format. Thank you so much for all the useful insights on retro gaming on the go!

whole heartily agreed Mr. Dweeb! I bought the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro at launch because it was "The best" in many youtubers videos, but turns out, I BARELY played it. A huge reason for that was the size, I wanted something I could toss in my pocket and not a bag and just have on me. I ended up selling my retroid and picked up a Miyoo Mini (off your your LITNXT affiliate link, might I add) and it has been a GAME CHANGER.
At the end of the day, much like the saying of "the best camera is the one that you have on your" the same holds true for retro handhelds!

For me, I would lean towards something like the Miyoo Mini v4 or the TrimUI Brick as the "one size fits all" emulation handheld. A pocketable Everyday Carry device, if you will. The RG35XX+ is probably a better choice overall, but I think portability is king when it comes to handhelds. I want to evoke that "bring your Game Boy to school" feeling!
After years of watching retro handheld videos I fnally bought some! And this video makes me pretty happy with my choice haha.
I love the vertical ones so I chose a miyoo mini plus for on the go, and an RGXX40V for playing on my house.

Fair. My only reservation there would be it a bit on the smaller side, so it won't work out as good as an XX device for lots of people.
More than half the fun of these retro handheld devices, for me at least, is trying out all the new custom firmware. Out of the box experience means nothing at all...if you care about that just buy a device from Nintendo or Sony. But no, don't do that. Don't waste money on brand names.

I literally found you yesterday cause I was looking for an emulator to play some gba rooms on my phone and suddenly all this adds of Chinese handhelds and honestly I thought there were plain garbage since I see them often in Temu and AliExpress. But I watched some videos here and there and kinda find them interesting especially the retro vibes look some of them have. And suddenly it appear me one of you videos and damn homie I started to see a lot of your videos the way you present and explain things were crystal clear to me that this funky devices are worthy. For GC & PS2, can't go wrong with the RP5. That's the one I've been using the most for high end stuff.

Finally some lovemto bizazzle! As a miyoo mini + lover when I got the plus it felt like a MM+ updated version.
I guess I could understand this choice since my favorite devices are my 35xxSP and cubeXX and since they share a lot with this one I could see liking this one as well. Also side note my wife just gave me the keyboard you have displayed in this video and am so in love with typing on it vs my previous keyboard (a razor blackwidow 2019 with green switches)

Do you think if the next Retroid Pocket 6 device has all the strengths of the current model, but is just a little bit smaller so that it is pocketable.
Do you think that would make it worthy of "best" ?
I ask because I much prefer AndroidOS over LinuxOS due to the more support, Apps, Services, and Native Games. And that I want to lean towards more of the high-end stuff, like emulating beyond PS2 with the more modern 16:9 games. I know the best options for that are the ASUS ROG Ally and Valve SteamDeck, but these are strictly indoor devices, and need a backpack to take with you. I would like something high-end that was actually pocketable. My previous solution was the Samsung S10+ and Razer JungleCat, great ergonomics, pocketable, and the QSD 855 chipset is fast and furious and has aged well. But I need to upgrade because the government is shutting down the signals, and need a proper 5G phone.

So I own the MiyooMini+ (pre-Onioned) and RG53xxSP (Stock) and others, and when asking non-retro dweebs like my niece and my coworkers, and friends , The MiyooMini+ is always the one chosen, I think the DMG-ness and the OnionOS ease of use along with the instant game switcher and sleep really makes the difference for most people. Great video as usual though!

It's funny, but I just got my nephew an RG35XX last week. He fell in love with retro gaming at a trade show. It was the obvious choice for me, as it captures the essence of retro gaming perfectly. Playing the games of my childhood with him and seeing the excitement in his eyes took me back to when I first got my hands on a Sega.

I just did this with my friend. He's mid 60s, I have old friends, I'm the kid in the group, in most situations, at 36. I never liked my peers. ANYWAYS, he saw me with my retro handhelds and was like, "I want one." And I was like, "Cool, guess who's on a major screw everything, everything must go kick so I could probably give you one? I am, and you know I only have 20 different types." So last thursday we met up for lunch at our favorite Mexican joint that's so good and so cheap, and I brought literally half a dozen over for him to figure out what size he wanted. He gravitated (naturally) to the $1200 GPD Win 4, so I sold him my Odin 2, which I don't love since its too big, for $100. I don't believe in screwing over my friends, and I already have two new retros coming in, the 406V and the RP 5. So, I'm not starving for handhelds. Still have my RP 4 Pro (my favorite), Odin Mini, Anbernic Cube, RP Flip, and others. That Odin 2 is way overpowered for his needs and is the nice translucent blue.
This is the BEST thing to do with old handhelds. Give them to a deserving dweeb who will discover the hobby. Well done buddy.

That's a great choice! I agree with everything you said. Personally, I've fallen into the trap of buying too many handhelds to count, and have settled on the RG40XXV (I think the proper name may be the Bigzizzle). I really like the larger display, solid controls, the added comfort of a larger device, and even that cardinal snapping analog stick isnuseful sometimes!
I bought the 40XXV thinking that I would use the analog stick... I might have to rethink my options here. I really like the form factor and the way it looks. That SWEET SWEET Retro look. You convinced me. I'm Bezazzled!

I myself own the rg cube and the rg35xx sp and they are both great devices!
Of course the rg cube is more powerful than the 35 SP but the 35 SP is just so sweet... the form and functionality of it is solid, it plays what I want and is absolutely just amazing for what you pay for it I'm sure as you know Mr Dweeb, it's the same exact device as the one you crowned here in this video except for the ergonomics of course (clamshell as opposed to upright) it's amazing what they can put in the palms of our hands today.
I remember when the original game boy came out I was about 13 years old and my buddies little brother got one for Christmas and I couldn't believe my eyes and now here we are.. good stuff!
Good video! There are so many options, so it can be hard to pick a "definitive" one as everyone has different criteria for their handhelds.
For me, the Steam Deck still is my absolute favorite to play anything and everything, but it does come with a bit of a learning curve to set things up (especially to play non-Steam games). Though, for a more portable retro gaming experience, I'm a huge fan of any of the Retroid Pockets or the RG35XXSP (the GameBoy Advance SP is still one of my favorite handheld designs).
Excellent choices. The Deck is a champ, that would definitely be my 'best' non-retro handheld. Maybe in a future video!

Great the transparency with which you communicate, I've always known that your favorite is the Miyoo Mini. A few months ago, after watching many videos about retro handheld devices, I also came to the conclusion that the RG35XX Plus was the most balanced option in terms of aesthetics, price, and performance. Very happy to have it, highly recommended. In the future, I only hope it doesn’t lose support or that a firmware as solid as OnionOS for Miyoo gets developed.
The feature that really puts the bizazzle over the rest is the chin. Plain and simple. Makes it so much easier to hold.

You hit the nail on the head for me. I love my 35XX+ for all the same reasons.
And yeah, that's not to say there aren't other devices I like the look of, the Analog DMG would be the pick if money was no objective, for a lot of what I play the square screen of either Cube would be better, I love the modern aesthetic of the 40XXV and TrimUI Brick.
But so far I've not felt enough of an urge to come away from my little "Gameboy" and I can't see that changing any time soon (at least until Anbernic finally released a Cube XXV with DMG colour scheme)

This was my first retro handheld and I loved it so much, it definetely satiated all my nostalgic needs.
It also sparked the beginning of my downfall into the rabbit hole. I then got the rg35xx-h and then the rp4pro.
I ended up selling my rg35xx plus, I kinda regret it, but I couldn’t justify having so many devices. The device is really beautiful to look at.

I feel the same. I love my mm+, but I have to be rational. I think the only aspect where mm+ wins is the OS system. Bizzazzle has more battery, is a little bit more comfortable to hold, much more power, HDMI out and bluetooth (which I wanted so much mm+ had these two)

Yup got this one and freakin love it. Got the older RG35XX first and had to get this one when it came out
My very first retro handheld was the zazzbizzle (AKA the RG35XXH), and I still think it's a rock-solid machine... even using the stock OS. I recently succumbed to the pressure and bought a squazizzle (RGCUBEXX) and while I do appreciate the larger screen and how well it works with GameBoy and other squarish ratio screens, it feels like a cheap, hollow toy in my hands compared to the meaty solidity of the H. The CubeXX pays for it's friendlier ergonomics by being nearly twice the size and bulk of the H as well. Another thing I found out is that my old-man eyes can't see a 3.5" screen without using reading glasses, and STILL can't see a 4" screen without reading glasses, so the size difference is somewhat pointless from that aspect.

Yep! I appreciate your emphasis that one person’s preference of system may not be the best for others. My two cents are: if you’re waffling because you want the perfect system for you, just dive in and pick one. You won’t get a good feel for what you want until you start playing with one.
I’m in Miyoo land myself. I like it here. The systems are portable and I like OnionOS, ‘cause I’m a Linux nerd. I’ll probably branch out in the future to an Ambernic, but right now I’m happy with what I’ve got.
Go pick, go play. So long as a system meets the minimum of what _you_ want it to do, and the price is good for you, chances are, you’ll be happy.

It was Awesome Seeing Devilish On the Genesis in this Video. One of my Fav games on that system. There really isn't an Ultimate Handeld in my Opinion, I still like using my Powkiddy X55 besides the clicky buttons (which doesn't bother me) I think its one of the best handhelds. I have the Odin 2 and waiting for the Rp5 to come thru but at the end of the day its about playing games. Joey has been preaching a lot lately about actually playing games instead of watching videos of them, and I'm gonna start doing that. My Personal Ultimate Device would also function as a phone TBH
If you could ever get your hands on a Much i7s for a Review, (it's a real phone that has integrated gaming controls, the last best one in my opinion) I would love to hear your thoughts on it. The Anbernic XX devices are using a processor designed for roku-like tv boxes so it makes sense they work well when hooked up to a TV
Finally a video where the goat is not the miyoo mini plus! I got the bizzazzle as my first handheld as a complete illiterate, it was just released and i choose it over the mm+ since slightly more powerful and also I thought is newer, so must be better. Then i regretted a bit gettingnitbso fast since the H version (cant remember the real name, i mean the rg35xxH). My third is a mmV4, and i love it but honestly don't get all the hype, still prefer the anbernic. And you saying now it's the best is saving me a lot of further handheld money lol.
I've actually gifted three RG35xxs to different friends and family members, but I kept the Miyoo mini Plus for myself

I know it DEFINITELY falls into the enthusiast category but my Odin 2 Pro gets a lot of playtime. Having a ps2 capable handheld in your bag with DAYS of battery life really comes in handy. My miyoo mini+ definitely gets an honorable mention for user friendliness and pocketability though. Ive played many snes and ps1 rpgs on it
I have a Miyoo Mini Plus which I love, but I got my son an Rg35XX Plus, and honestly ......it feels much better built than my Miyoo. The buttons in particular feel like a big upgrade. I recommend it.

I think Trimui Smart Pro is the best right now. It's cheaper than a lot of the XX with around the same amount of power maybe more and two form factors so you can choose horizontal or mini brick style.

as a Smart Pro owner, the CFW is also worse and it has a 2.4GHz wifi chip. also worse portmaster support. there are some caveats.
