@@tafb94force29 The problem is that not everyone knows what their budget/affordability is, lol. Some people are ok with saving $100 a month and that's "affording" their lifestyle. I try to save $1000-$1200 a month depending on bills that month. I'm sorry, a car payment that eats into 50% of my savings is not in my budget . Especially, with inflating food, energy, taxes, and housing, it probably isn't affordable to many. People need to have a buffer but I guess they need to feel accomplished as well.

Me too !! Had to replace my RAM 2013 Hemi work truck. The new 2024 4x4 Hemi rides like a dream (MSRP $62K paid $50K) sold my old truck for $20k - these are great trucks. Tried a new F150, but my 2013 rode and sounded better! So glad I took a hard pass on the Tundra... now that's a loser.

I got a 23 ram Bighorn a week ago. 63k MSRP with all the options, got 6300 off due to incentives plus another 16k off at the dealer so 22300 total in discounts. They also gave me more than my trade in was worth which knocked another 16k off. I plan on keeping this long term so I was not worried about the value dropping.

I passed on a similar deal only because I really wasn't in the "need" bracket for the truck at the moment. Just saying that because i think more and more some of these types of "deals" are coming up. There are Rebels in the area here with $9,500 mark downs on a $64k truck plus incentives which seem to be around $4,500 so about $14k off and I was offered over bluebook fair trade for my 150k mile jeep. Meanwhile Ford is charging $2,600 to replace a broken taillight on a '23 King Ranch.

Just traded my Subaru Outback on a NEW, never sold 2022 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock quad-cab 4x4, MSRP was $52,450, I got it for $38,990. It is oddly optioned with everything that was available except the 5.7L. I wanted the V6 since I use to have a 2014 RAM 1500 with the V6 and it was great, got impressive mileage. Anyway, my new 2022 (purchased in Feb 2024!) has the 8.4N display, protection group, electronic package, towing pkg with power mirrors, power sliding rear window w/def., bedliner and the 3.55 read diff. I don't think I could have gotten a better deal. At the same dealer they had a 2023 Bighorn Quad/ short bed 4x4 with the 12in screen + nav, MSRP was 66,200, marked down to $48,999.

I am not sure I understand this video. It is titled do NOT buy a Ram in 2024. Then tells the watcher to target a 10% discount when shopping. As a current shopper out to buy, most dealers are offering me 2024 Laramie at close to 17% off MSRP.
You also mention that the 2025 is coming soon with some changes but don’t really discuss that it will NOT be available with the Hemi v8 anymore. To me being able to get the last year available with the v8 may help retain its value because some people swear by them.
I ended this video still wondering, why should I NOT buy a 2024 RAM 1500?

I just leased a 2024 1500 Tradesman for 410/mo for 39mo/12k. Made sense with family discount and there was a "sale" going on through our families dealer they've been with for years. Hit right on the money for the cost I was looking to spend per month. Thing is barebones, stock features, but it'll get the job done as we needed a second vehicle ASAP and I've wanted a pickup for a while to make projects and roadtrips easier. Once the lease is up, will definitely be upgrading to something with better features though, probably sticking with Dodge lol

Inbetween the engine front seal went out and the entire engine had to be pulled along with a few other problems. Then my truck sat over 3 months. Of course the dealership was more than happy to keep holding onto it when I told them I was done playing their games. My cousin traded it for 42,000 to get a Chevy for one of our hired hands . Truck was valued at 54,000 bought new for 68,000 . They fixed transmission immediately when they knew they could resell it and it was gone within a month. RAM is not what they used to be. I just leased a Bighorn 24 night edtion around 60k msrp for 850 for 42 months. I did have about 7 in negative. The rebates were about 5700. I put 2500 down. We qualified for the lowest interest with tier 1 through capital one. I figured I could get out of the lease in 36 months if there are no penalties. My previous payments were 815 for 72 months. So my crazy way of thinking in 3 years . I could get into another truck without any negative equity and probably lower the payment.

Absolutely horrible advice here. You're talking about the discounts from the manufacturer only ( $7k off a $70k truck. ). You mention nothing about hammering the dealership for whatever they are willing to knock off the sticker as well. You can currently get $12-15K off 2024's with $60k+ sticker prices......and even then, the yare still over priced. You'll see these trucks at 25% off later in the year.

RAM has been producing low-quality products for the past four years, and it’s time for them to leave the market. I’m the owner of a 2018 Ram Eco 1500, and it’s the worst truck I’ve ever owned. In 4 years and 154,000 miles, I’ve had to replace the engine twice and the transmission. The engine can’t even make it past 75,000 miles. Overall, Ram trucks are not reliable and not worth the money or your time.

Who buys a leftover to get rid of It Everyone has a different reason. They're buying a truck. If you're buying a truck to get rid of it in 3 years, then yes, if you're keeping it for 10 years as a work truokay, then it doesn't matter. If you're buying a truck to use as a car then you're just dumb

    Dude You're so wrong!
YOU'RE SO RIGHT about leasing thou!
Go out and check the real world, numbers...( pain in the butt ) took me a week and seven dealership (((300 miles driving) ((I should had not to do that after the deal was made over the phone!))(six of them try to throw some sticker BS in there) I guess 7 is a lucky # they wanted to sell and see me as not a laydown for stickers B.S.) ))
But i got my 4x4 2023 Hemi on my term on the last day of the programs. No way to get 10% off the dealers need to keep the lights on($3K to $4500 is Max. seen like four invoices hold back and all)! But what i got with the 2023 4X4Hemi is :
$10k from the factory+2X3K from Crysler Cap.(loyality)+$4460 Dealer discounted from MSRP and took off the B.S. stickers +$1K Costco. That's close to $21K.
My pymt is $85 CHEAPER than my 2021 Diesel two by truck and the MSRP is like $13k higher (=aprox.$$390pymt/mo) on my 2023 4X4 Hemi My residual is almost the same as on the 2021 just bought it out for $28461+Tax($2206 Biathc)
But i have two friends ready to pay $33000 bid( Carmax was $32K No TAX)-still let them bid it out- for a 19k miles weels all the goodies diesel Big Horn. The Reason I bought it out not selling it to Carmax for $3500 profit because I'm might just keep it , cause I love it, tows like crazy and 22mpg at 80-106Mph, 34.6MPG@70MPH on C.C.1900rpm, but i have to have a 4X4
Which i have now " 2023" YOU ARE DO NOT THINK I WILL MAKE MONEY ON IT? LOOSER DEAL???
Last nine yrs i leased 18 vehicles for me-family and other twenty plus for friends(my last lease prior to the 21 Ram was a 2019 Cady and Carmax give me $3800 ((noTAX)more than what I payed for New and used it for 22months so far i made money on all my last 18 lease and did not had to toss the key back).
GO and BUY or LEASE 2023 RAM (best to lease especily if you leased from them before $6k extra reason to get the 2023) I got mine last day of the program but they extend it for one more month.
"DO NOT GET THE 24 or 25 ....."2023 is THE WAY TO GO!!!!"
Do the numbers, this is insane Cap and Adjusted cap reductions, MSRP-residual and the money factor is what it's.
NUMBERS NEVER LIE------LIERS MAKING UP NUMBER'S!!!!
Every new car is loose 15-30% soon as 10sec. and 10" from the dealers side walk!
If the money is right you have a lower milage 1yr older or a milage deduction for 1yr newest(your choise or $s----I do everything by the $ symbol).
I will let You know in 3yrs but I think i will make money on this 2023 if not ($85 cheaper/mo.$13k moore truck and they made my 1st mo. pymt. 0 down, the only way to lease!!)
I just toss the key back and get a 27 or 2028 and I went wrong the 1st times in the last 12yrs(but how can I?No more hemi and with this #,$s?)--!
Do your own numbers and think about it!
    Make sence?
Do not just listen and take it for granted.
Just wanted to peep's see the other side, because the coin has two side. I normaly do not post but...........
I DISAGREE 100% with DO NOT BUY 2023.
And if he is a car negoition guy he should know it, better than say DO NOT BUY 2023!
