UPDATE: this just happened to me again but this method did not work for me but still try it and if it doesn't work try it again and if that doesn't work then the only way to do it is to factory reset sorry

@@SlimShadyOP all of the apps if you have cloud enabled will come back and you just have to reinstall them but if you have anything in unknown sources like I did they will be deleted

Thanks for putting this simple fix out there.
I have had to factory reset every 2-3 days for the past 3 months. I wrote to Oculus now meta support after the first instance and 14 times since. Although I have somehow managed to remain respectful, not once have I seen a hint of response from support. Today I have had to factory reset the device 3x, each time it appeared to fix the issue but the issue but has reoccured. I had actually wiped the device and repackaged it ready to return it to the store but after watching your video figured it wouldn’t hurt to give it a go. I have installed a couple of apps and will keep an eye on it. Although it will be a little annoying to commit this fix with any regularity. If the settings snd library are restored each time, it will be considerably less frustrating than having to factory reset each time and as when the Quest 2 works well otherwise, there is a greater chance I might persevere with it.
I know there are an awful lot of users experiencing the same issue and hopefully your short but effective video will be able to reduce frustration for a many many users worldwide.
