Hey RC sailors it's John up in Canada. Came across this video tonight and thoroughly enjoying it. I wanted to say that I watch a lot of RC video content on RUclips and I try to tell the guys get a buddy with a camera with a zoom. Because it's no fun to watch a spec in the sky. So it's down to you guys and one other couple RUclipsrs I watch the Petrincic Brothers. They also have very nice quality to their videos and go out in the evening sometimes with the sun sets just like what we're watching tonight. So of all the RUclipsrs out there doing RC videos you guys and them in Slovenia is all I watch. You both put out lots of content so I have something new to watch whenever I want usually. My wife and I have talked many times this summer about a bigger plane. “I just want one big nice plane”.
Then The RcSaylors have now made that wish become a real possibility and answer to my desire. WELL DONE. I LOVE YOU GUYS.
The video is totally incredible. The plane being the same. Love everything about it. The flight time on that battery is just crazy insane. Truly makes the battery price more understandable and doable. Like you, I’m hooked on that no throttle flyby sound. WOW!!!🤪
Then to see you blessed with a beautiful late evening flight. The whole video was just perfect. The good Lord is smiling on all of us. I can not tell you how much that you Nate, and Abby. How you have come to feel like well known friends to me this summer. I’m forever grateful to you both. You have made my return to the hobby so much more enjoyable. I have truly been blessed. Hi man that's a huge overwhelming plane
The Carbon-Z Cessna 150 is easily my favorite airplane to fly in RealFlight 9.5. As such, I have been wanting to own the real thing for a long while now. But at $399 (plus $100+ per battery), I just couldn't justify the purchase. Now this new version is $100 more?! Unless I get really lucky with a Lottery ticket, this airplane will not be in my hanger. :'(
I personally understand. In the last 2 months I've bought 3 giant scale planes. The F4U2 is here, also the P40 Warhawk. I haven't started building them just ordered as they came available. The newest is a 1410mm cessna 180. When it gets here it will be checked for damage then stacked with the other two.
Hopefully some nice 6s batteries will be in one of the Black Friday sales. Maybe a electronic starter jet.
These will be next year's toys.
But safe helps with saving your plane plus the plane you can easily replace tail and wings if you crash.

Hey Nate, I put 6" Dubro inflatable low bounce tires on mine. Makes a world of difference on landings. I also eliminated the springs on the tail wheel and replaced with wire rods I made, it turns a lot better.

That plane reminds me of my dads blue & white balsa plane. It had a 7' foot wingspan but the Cessna beat it by 4". Really impressed with the flight time too. Excellent review & flight Nate & Abby!! 😊
The sound is super sweet! I own the Eflite AirTractor 1.5m and that already makes a very enjoyable sound while passing, but that Cessna is on a completely different level. It just sounds like a real (sports) plane when cutting through the air. Nice.

Man I wish they had safe technology back in the mid 90s. When I first started to learn how to fly 40 sized nitro trainers. Would have saved me thousands. I mostly fly gas or nitros. I have a couple of electrics with safe technology. It's hard for me to get use to it. And Nate you are correct the bigger and heavier they are. The easier they are to fly. I have a Nick Zirolli 1/4 scale AT6 Texan with a 80cc Sacs engine. It weighs around 40 pounds and it Flys like a trainer.

Nate I'm all about using your links, I've done it in the past and will continue to. However you need to do your math, if you're 6'4" that plane has a wingspan of 2.1M that's only 6.677" bigger. Not "at least a foot on you". The plane is already awesome, no need to Exaggerate.

I love mine, i got a 13 minute flight on mine just messing around with mixed throttle, i don't like taking my packs down past 3.75 I know under load it will drop more. This is a fun plane.
Which Accumulator do you take for this 13 Minutes to fly ? Thanks
@@r-k.fotografie2071 5000mah 6s flying mostly below half throttle whole flight. Only really giving much throttle while in knife edges or rolls. Flying more like a trainer. It's It's relaxing plane to fly.

You know, we used to like HK, but they have gone down hill BIG TIME in the last couple of years. Quality control and customer service have gone out the window. I can honestly say Banggood does better at this than HK.
This is a fairly common conversion for full scale Cessna 150s. The best known is the Texas Taildragger and you can find pictures using one of the web browsers
My grandpa used to have a Cessna 150 Texas taildragger. He sold that to get a 170

It makes real plane sounds with the throttle cut. You can see I behaves like a real plane, I’m not a fan of Cessna its aesthetic doesn’t get me excited but the scale and the way it moves is glorious

Nice video :-) Have been testing this in real flight and with the flaps it seems to be able to flie very slow and stable. On 4S it is almost too slow in real flight, on 6S it feels really good. Do you think you could learn to fly with this guy ? Since it is so big, it should always remain very visible. Wing construction also looks one of the best i have seen to take it apart for transport.

The Reynolds numbers shows better on larger RC planes. It is interesting to see light aircraft coming out. My DIY Cessna of similar size I did many many years ago from foam , balsa and paper handles beautifully without any electronic assist.

There is a pretty steep discount on some planes on Horizon right now and having owned the real thing at one time i had to get it. I still need to get the skills to fly RC planes after having been using surface models for years. Different controls make it a little awkward when going from surface to air, but i want to learn. I may buy the simulator to actually get some practice time without the burden of crashing. Ive flown my Night Timber X a handful of times but i did break off the landing gear at one point as well as had pulled the rudder from the fusilage at one point. Overall it is still in really good shape but ive got foam tack filler, a foam finish if i ever need to do a repair.
Better than Draco? I still get nervous enough that I’m thankful for the nice clean outhouse at our field!
So I'm one of the few that didn't "buy in" to the Draco hype. Is it a cool plane?! 100% yes. Is it my favorite plane by Eflite? Nope! Not even close. I say yes, this is a better plane than the Draco. Maybe not cooler, but better in many ways. 😁😎⚓
Have you tried the Flex Innovations Cessna 170 at 87" (2.2m) span? It has been my go to airplane for 4 years now with many hundreds of flights. Handles huge winds, snow, rough fields.
They will try it if flex sends them one...

It's still the same size of those regular rc planes in the video of course as it is filmed, the only difference is it's movements it became quiet gentler than those of smaller planes...the more the smaller the more the nimble.

I finally got rid of my 76"r about two years ago and I'm just barely clinging to enough space for my 100" P51 wings, but it's about to go too. :( Big planes are so fun, but so storage difficult.

Nate super nice plane I believe it is easier to fly a bigger plane they can handle wind a lot easier than a small plane
Great video as usual. Could you do a video showing how it could be set up (by a complete beginner) for FPV and then do a video of this plane in FPV? FPV would add a lot to each of your videos, plus you'd be doing a big favor by doing a video in your easy-to-understand style to show us how to set up the FPV (there are other videos about this, but they make it all seem complicated IMO).
would work for FPV but a purpose built FPV plane would be much better. Albabird or AR wing perhaps?

My biggest is a mentor 65 inch wing span also my radian is 82 inch love flying planes. Today is the day my radian nite flight should be here. I get nervous every time I first take off. Reckon why that is.
