Hmm... here is question for you. How do you make backup of ventoy installation so you don't have to download everything again if you wanna upgrade to bigger usb and so you don't have to cutomize ventoy again from the scratch. The idea come from medicat. Guy made sort of installer that just downloads everything for you including ventoy. I'd like to make own version of medicat for personal use with linux specific tools because i am not gonna use windows after end of life next year in may.
Ventoy installer is just 16 megabyte only. Rest are your .iso like windows 10 , windows 11 and server 2022. Just copy your .iso in backup ssd or hdd later you can copy in your bigger flash after installing ventoy. Thank you for watching.Plz subscribe
@@it.classroom I guess i can copy ventoy.json file and other files as well in a backup folder so that way i can also save my json configuration,themeing and so on.
Dear first install ventoy in new flash drive then copy all content,everything from old flash to new select all , copy and paste. That easy. Thanks a lot
Don't extract.Downloaded file is already in .iso format. please check may be you have winrar software in your computer which show .iso files are archived .rar thanks for subscribing.
Dear if you know the concept of booting computer.You need bootable flash, if you want to install windows 10, then you need windows 10 bootable media,and for windows 11 you need another flash disk but with ventoy all different operating systems you can keep altogether in one bootable flash.i hope you understand.the concept.Thank you please like share and subscribe.

Hi got a question when I downloaded Windows 10 Windows 11 ISO when I extracted them they were filed in a folder. How do you make them ISO image.

I do have winrar I'll take it off but what should I use to unzip files on Windows 7 and 10. When I take winrar off will I see it as an ISO?
No need to remove winrar just dont extract downloaded file directly put in usb and enjoy. Thank you

Yes. For Ventoy there is no difference between MBR and GPT.
