Thank you for this great tutorial. The step by step approach made the tasks clear and easy to implement. I have been using ventoy for a while now but not with persisitence. But I now have four iso's working with persistence. As a bonus the iso's now remember locale & wifi settings.

Will any of the programs on this USB run inside Windows 11? I assume I can run this USB in a virtual machine environment? Can I add "Windows 11 To Go" to Ventoy?
Yes you can add it. My newest USB now includes an installed instance of Tiny 11

This was very interesting, thanks! Is there any chance you would ever sell pre-installed complete Linux USBs/SSDs? Not simply persistent, but full installs, like the Tiny11 on your Ultimate USB V2? Scouring Reddit and various Linux forums,. It seems like there's a lot of extra hassle going from live-with-persistence to full portable, buying a 256/500/1000GB device with 2 or 3 full installs would be very appealing for many, I think.

@@theit-unicorn1873 I created a 64GB Mint USB with 57GB persistence yesterday, but found when I tried to download an 18GB file that I had no free space. That got me thinking that a 500GB SSD with say 3 full install distros, 2 newbie-friendly like Mint & Zorin, and one 'intermediate' (your call) - or 1 newbie and 1 intermediate, would be really appealing to users like me with non-ancient Win10 systems that are ineligible for 11. Such an option would also be a refuge from "AI in EVERYTHING" madness coming to the Windows world

i wanted to know how to extend the size of the Persistence in Ventoy. I saw the official page and it has only a mere 2 GB expansion..Can I change that to 10 GB or more? A Video on this would be helpful. Thank you.

How is this different from TAILS?
With TAILS, you wouldn't want any persistence as the goal is to maintain anonymity and leave no traces behind.

Yes, if you add a 4GB persistent dat file to an image in Ventoy, it means you will have 4GB of persistent storage for that operating system. This persistent storage allows you to save changes, files, and settings across reboots within the 4GB limit of the dat file.
