Actually the most intelligent advice on how to start a hobby
@Bruno-cs7ogThen the title would not be “ for cheap” which is more likely to attract more people to his content.
Thank you Jeff haha
When you return stuff, it's the seller who suffers, not amazon.
hahahahha
Companies always account for a percentage of purchases being returned, whether it’s on amazon or not.
@rayafk8502 ofc but the smaller the percentage of actual returns the better. You also have to remind yourself that there are independent sellers who buy stock and resell it. They don't produce their own stuff so they can't afford to have bigger loses
ahahahahah was not expecting you to say thank you Jeff, I did that too and I thought it's just me 😂
Haha thanks to the Jeff man
I'm with you except for the "return the controller" part. I bought a Radiomaster Zorro ELRS to learn in simulators to see if I wanted to buy a drone. Why? Everyone suggested ELRS was the preferred protocol and that the Zorro was a solid Radio, even past sim and beginner flying. No need to create e-waste or work for employees out there, just do some research and buy a decent controller to start with... and one you'll then use in real life and you'll already know how it feels.
I watched 20 minutes of Jeff, then I subscribed. Thanks for that tip.
That’s actually wrong advice for someone to return product for no reason. Do you know Jeff bezos isn’t the only one who would sell Amazon products.
It consist of mostly 3rd partly seller like me. You returning product would actually cost seller money. Meaning Amazon would still charge seller for selling our product and when customer returns it, they would take all the money back from us plus still charge for the selling fee(which is called referral fee) and on top product is used so can’t sell that product any more.
So please don’t do this kind of stupid thing.
I did not know that! Apologies. I agree with this knowledge it certainly doesn’t feel like the right think to do!
Hahaha I love the advice thanks on the Amazon tip
That controller is great for sim flying and that’s how I learned. But under no circumstances should you use it with a real drone or plane. It will fail safe within a 200ft range
You should start with EMAX EZ Pilot, I am starting with it, and it’s pretty fun
Haha I remember when I started, used an old flysky with a broken gimble and that was like 2 or 3 years ago
Alternatively, use an Xbox or ps4 controller you have lying around. May not be as authentic but it will let you get a feel for the hobby and see if you really want to do it
❤🙏
Thanks JB
Which is the best fpv drone for beginners in drone pilot
Yeah DRL is wkd
That's a radio, not a flight controller ;) but yea 🫣
What is your opinion about the beta fpv literadio 2 se? By the way, your videos are amazing 👍
Not amazing from what I've read. Spend a few more dollars and get a Radiomaster (Zorro, Boxer, Pocket, TX12, or TX16). I'm sure there are many other great brands, too.
I've spent 700 hours in a simulator, I want to get a real one but I'm just kind of afraid since I don't have that much to spend in a hobby and if I break it I'll probably not have the money for repairs depending on how I break it so simulator it is for me
I can tell you one thing, entering the hobby is not that expensive (relative, ,around 800$ for a good drone, googles and controller). What really drains the wallet is when shit breaks. New vtx, antenna's, lenses, props
That's why I like RC cars it's way cheaper to get into the hobby itself and even a 400€ 1/10th scale SCT (Short Course Truck) can compete in races and do pretty well and replacement parts are quite cheap even when crashing full-speed the max I've had to replace is 40€ of parts.
I'll for sure get into FPV drones when time and money allows.
Get a tiny whoop, they tend to break much less and you can get a ready to fly kit with all included. I got a Cetus X to start and dropped it straight to the ground from 12 ft and nothing happened to it because is so lightweight.
So you are going to live your life being afraid? What if you only have 6 months left to live? Go get a drone and fly it!
Dude, I went transmitter > few hours on sim > mobula 7 with goggles, flew that for a few months, and then got a 5”. Mobula 7 is so durable and so fun to fly get it you’ll thank me later
How can I buy cheapest fpv drone😊
You used greater than symbol instead of lesser than symbol
Yeah right, I knew I loved it soon as I saw the first video. Build it and learn to fly it. Forget that SIM BS
Or just buy a Radiomaster Pocket ELRS for $65.
Or get cetus pro and use controller
Fvp is not cheap
Can u make a vid on Baby ape and the controller u showed in the vid plss
That controller in the vid sucks, get a taranks qx7 it’s an awesome starter controller, I have it myself.
