Just saw these guys last night in T.O. It was absolutely incredible! Robs daughter was at the side of the stage watching her dad with a huge grin throughout the entire show!
One of the most underground and underrated thrash songs of all time. That main riff is so fucking catchy and face-melting that you cant help but headbang till he cant any longer. Why dont more people know about Sacrifice for fucks sake!
What a great song! Saw them live back in the 80's cant remember if it was at the rivoli or at the horseshoe, anyways they kick ass live-one of the few bands who sound just as good live (if not better) than in the studio.
My favourite Canadian Metal song of all time!!!!!!!! It's like audio adrenaline. My poor heavy bag suffers every time I listen to this. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@THRASHFKINFILLETS - VERY hard to find anything but cassette tapes from Sacrifice, unfortunately. They never signed with a major record label..last time I looked up one of their CD's - Forward to Termination - on ebay it was going for almost a hundred bucks ! That's how hard it is to find a CD by these guys. Makes you wish you hung on to stuff you had when you were a teen.
oh man this is like one of the best thrash song ever written...still have all my thrash vynils including this one got mostly on cd now so i don't touch them anymore....but yeh this album is one of the thrash albums ever written...theres is one classic thrash album i'm dying to get & thats "STRICKEN BY MIGHT"by a group called E.X.E. ..it should be re released on cd...
Ahhh man! I had this record.... I want it back... what the fuck did I do with it? I remember my buddies met these guys at the movies watching The Evil Dead, the one damm night I wasn't with them, they said they were soo fucking cool and down to earth. Cheers!
I remember being 15 and listening to this in the shower. My mom came in and said that she didn't want to hear that killing music in the house anymore with all that screaming. Funny thing is it was the guitar that screamed, not Rob.
It's cool to see how Sacrifice evolved from their first album. The songs in Forward to Termination are more controlled and with more shaped musical arrengements. It's obvious that Slayer influenced them. They have some brutal feeling in their music. In fact, i think the Canadian bands had more sense of innovation.
They are re-releasing their entire back catalog. Check them on Facebook and I'm sure you get info on the re-releases. I interviewed Rob Urbinati and he confirmed this.
@colerichards6969 i want to believe it was the same tour. Seems likely in any event. Was there a really cheezy A&R guy there introducing the band? He had Blonde hairsprayed hair and everyone in the audience was like, "get this guy outa here so we can here the bands already!"?
sacrifice are the best thrash badn in history. there i said it. now dont give me shit about metallica and megadeth coz they rule but you'll never change my mind!
One of my favorites, and in my opinion, the best thrash song ever.
my favorite from the 80's and still my favorite now
this is one of the best thrash song ever made!! Very cool to play guitar on this song and drum is awsome!!!
Just saw these guys last night in T.O. It was absolutely incredible!

Excellent Thrasher song.

I had their first & second albums ...both records! lol They still fuckin kick ass!
One of my main bands when i was a teenagers.
@MrSinner74 I hear ya bro! im 41 now & i remember when i saw em live when i was 16
@colerichards6969 i want to believe it was the same tour. Seems likely in any event. Was there a really cheezy A&R guy there introducing the band? He had Blonde hairsprayed hair and everyone in the audience was like, "get this guy outa here so we can here the bands already!"?
this band fuckin rules and will always...fellow Canadian thrash at its best
@colerichards6969 zowee I was probably at the same show! Was it in Guelph or Waterloo? That's where I saw them Chikopee ski hill I think.
@ferroxidef78 Actually it was in Sudbury
@THRASHFKINFILLETS - BTW- Forward to Termination is available on ITunes !
wouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh good memories
They have two new albums out.
@desecrator09 Agreed I fucking loved this song back in the day and still do.
The main riff sounds very similar to Am I Evil. Nevertheless this is a kickass song and I can't wait to see these guys live in 2 days.
@ferroxidef78 It could have indeed been the same tour. As far as the cheezy A&R guy, dude I have no idea. That was quite some time ago. I was 15.
Fuck yeah, me and my band are covering this song on our next gig!
cant find the guitard tab of this song,if someone know where...
jeje same feeling partner
The song title is Re-Animator, not Re-Animation.
Yes they did....and yes you did!
beastin song the pepsi powerhour
""THRASH YOUR SKULL WITH POWER AND MIGHT""
great, 1987 was a special year
Fucking sweet solos
Zimmer's Hole do an awesome cover/tribute to this song... called Re-Anaconda!
Who knows, I'd put them up there with Destruction and Exodus for some of the lesser know thrash bands.
@maidenkid84 hahaha i know a few sick ones but i said it cuz these guys are canadian...i think?
woohoo!
yes but i doubt those bands would have been able to create milestones without slayer's work.
love this fuckin song
im almost 50 and i remember Rob
Buena banda canadiense thrashera
Sacrifice Rulezzzzzz Canadian Thrash Metal :)
New C.D. On It`s Way :)!!
Yeah ! Thrash-Metal rules !!! Look my old German Band FRATZEHAMMER ! ):->)

CANADIAN THRASH YAAAAAAAAAAAA
@maidenkid84 hahaha no i dont i just know some sick ones
wtf are you talking about this is awesome obviously you only listened to the first second and for some reason thought it sucked
this band is the shit.
beauty, eh?
if there was no slayer, better bands than slayer would trully get more credit than they have.
the singer sounds like the singer of Atrophy
For me sounds very similar to DRI - Nursing home blues
just for moments
I meant the shit as in good.
jesus christ this sounds like coroner
jaja los niños de hoy dia no saben ni como se llaman.
