So I guess pretty much all present AAA games are about playable on that with 1080p or 720p medium to low settings hitting 40-60fps without a external graphics card? Seems a pretty good deal
Hardly, situation is very bad even on Low in newer games like Starfield, BG3, CP2077, etc. We tested an Acer Aspire 5 that had the faster R7 7730U and LPDDR4-4266 - ruclips.net/video/TuV2pzcsgw8/видео.html , and it was somewhat better, still hardly playable in new games. It's OKish for eSPorts, but Vega series iGPUs even with 8 CU, are too old now for newer games. IMO we need at least 6 RDNA CU's (Ryzen 5 7540) with DDR5 memory to have sometihig barely passabale. And 12 CU's (Ryzen 7 7840 or something) for 1080p on Low.
I just bought this for my offfice work but i installed old 2010-2017 games to play on this laptop because many of them are not patched or upgraded for series x or ps5 . Honestly im enjoying it😅😅😅 on this fairly cheap laptop
Not sure how much performnace will you need and if math programs are well multithreading optimized. IMO 6 core/12 thread CPU should be able to handle everything you throw at it, it is just a matter of how patient you are, it will just take a bit more time ;).
Vi una msi 14 ryzen 7 7730u amd radeon graphics cómo sabes que son vega 7 o así, creés qué salga buena para solid works y office para la universidad y quizá emular ps2?
I just checked the manufacturers site (www.amd.com/en/products/apu/amd-ryzen-7-7730u) and say there are 8 CU, hence its Vega8, cause iGPU architecture is Vega based. As for emulation - don't know frankly, as I'm not particularly interested in that, but PS2 is quite old, so may be it should be fine?
Please game test the Asus Vivobook M16 with AMD Ryzen 5 7530u because I'm not sure if its on board Radeon Graphics 512SP Mobile is comparable to the Vega 7 on the MSI Modern
I think the other one we tested is better - ruclips.net/user/liveTuV2pzcsgw8 , purely on performance metrics. The MSI is probably slightly better build and has a bit better screen, but it uses DDR4-3200 memory which leads to noticeably lower gaming performance than the Acer, which uses LPDDR4X-4266 memory.
It should not be dangerous. Mobile CPUs work on such high temps from quite a few years, and now we have even desktop CPUs going this high. In theory anything from 95 below should be ok.
Yes, you can see at the beginning of the video on CPUz. It's with slow DDR4-3200. Check this if you want something faster - ruclips.net/video/TuV2pzcsgw8/видео.html . This one is with 7730U and LPDDR4-4133, quite a bit better, but should be similar in pricing. Though the MSI has a bit better screen and overall quality.
Check what memory it uses. You want to have LPDDR4X for maximum performance, but then you need to have at lest 16 GB as it is not upgradable. DDR4-3200 will perform probably like this one as it will be somewhat memory starved.

Old games will run fine, the iGPU is equivalent on the low end to midrange GPU from that era. And CPU is ways better. GPHF
thanks. do you think it would run city skylines 1 smoothly? (not going to ask for CS2 haha)
Hey mate good video, do you think it can handle school math programmes that need a little bit power?

You're welcome 😊
Not gaming related but I make TikTok edits (finally moving from capcut) do you think it’ll handle after effects? Or do you have any recommendations?
it will definitely handle ae
@@queenmarketkaslay1037 thank you
It will not be the best experience, but it still has 6 rather fast cores and 16 GB of RAM. It should at least run.

Do you increase tdp?It shows 20-22w tdp but this processor has default tdp of 15w.
I haven't touch it, probably Acer stuff.
How many frames of League of Legends should I pick with that laptop?
70-100
what is the settings of valorant?? is it on high??
24:50 - Low
is this on dual channel mode?
so this laptop is only good for Valorant,Dota2 and LOL.... other than that... well, it's not for me. lol

Did you upgrade ram for dual channel?
No, it comes this way.
Does it have 2 fans?
Is the fps the same when you are not recording?
Streaming is on second PC so this is the real gaming FPS.
will valorant still run 100fps if it's on mid settings?
Can't say. Never tested it in Mid settings.
60hz yes or no
No other option than 60 for such cheap laptop.
