The Navi compute units in the Radeon 680m+ (igpu for the Ryzen 7 7735HS) is A LOT faster than the Vega you see here. In fact, for pure compute, it's on par with an ARC 380 or the RX 6400, both cards released recently.
It’s amazing with these mini form factor PCs having a higher end console gaming experience with full pc functionality in something the size of 3-4 decks of cards is pretty impressive to see 🤩💪🥰👍🥳! The amount of performance increase we’ve seen in these devices after a few years has been dramatic and I’d love to see how far these devices come in another decade 😁😉
i have a 4yr old laptop with ryzen 5 2500u and vega 8 still gives me good fps on older titles which came before 2020 and most of the games after 2020 are trash anyways
I remember playing gta V with a 3200g during 2020, while my monitor was still my old tv. Mid to high settings at 768p and 60fps locked. Man I really enjoyed that hours spent playing with my friends during the pandemic

I still have my Ryzen 5 2400G with integrated Vega 11 graphics and it performs better than the Vega 8 in older titles while being a bit better in newer titles. It served me well until I jumped onto a cheap RX 570 and then RX 5600 XT.
Well for the price, you can usually find a used steam deck which you can use docked or mobile and it should outperform the Vega 8 in gaming (the CPU seems to be faster though)
This is what you get when there is zero thermal throttling and why these mini PC (and laptop) manufacturers should pay more attention to it. Add the dual channel RAM and you have an acceptable entry level system. But with single channel RAM and thermal throttling you have a POS. Well done for another great video and bravo to Blackview for making this pc. OK, I admit I don't know what the driver support will be from AMD, but yeah.
I have a Beelink SER5 Max (R7 5800H, 8C16T, 32GB DDR4-3200, Vega 8). It's good enough to play Crysis Warhead at 1080p, Gamer setting with frame rates at 30-40 fps. Bioshock Remastered plays maxed out at 1080p with frame rates at 100+ fps. The SER5 Max is best for older games which is fine.

I only want to play Fortnite and Overwatch 2 competitively and some AAA games like elden ring, Spiderman or hogwarts etc soo is it god for long term. I will upgrade the ram in future..

There's nothing else at the supposed 246$ that's a prebuilt and plays games this well. Obviously if you're gaming I recommend building your own PC, then you can get better performance, as I said in the conclusion. But this is fine for what it costs.
At your conclusion you forgot to take into account that in order for you to get the performance we saw ,you had to add another dimm of RAM ,otherwise ,as you said in the start ,with with only single-channel mode the performance would have been (🤔much?) worse than what we saw in those games.😉

don't ever turn up the textures on an igpu. Try to keep vram usage limited as bandwidth to the gpu is a major problem!

the vega 8 is the same, the CPU part is different. Usually the desktop variants have higher TDP and more cache, so CPU performance will be higher

I think higher end vega was pretty expensive for them to produce. Polaris wasn't, that's why they never released a vega 32 I guess
