He would never show up to accept anything but he came for a good reason. Naturally funny, well-spoken, and just a genius. Shame on all those who accused an innocent man.

I’ve been viewing Woody Allen interviews of and on now for the last couple of months. I’ve become a real fan. He seems to treat every question from any interviewer with a genuine effort to answer the question. He doesn’t flash a bored or displeased look after any question and simply tries to give a direct and genuine answer.

The best question was about his favourite films...that is a questions a lot of celbrities get and almost none of them answer it truthfully. Husbands and Wives AND Purple Rose of Cairo...thanks Woody....made my day :)

Special credit should be given to Woody as you know the time when he made husbands and wives , was the most critical moment for his custody case with Mia Farrow, unpleasant experience, still he made it one of his best films and completely stay calm when he named this film.

Husbands and Wives is an Inspirational Treasure. Sydney Pollack, Judy Davis, Mia Farrow, Juliet Lewis. It is great to see Woody acting in his films. I love the scene where Jack tries to get back together with Sally. The lovely Liam Nielson as Michael. I love this movie. I am so glad and pleasantly surprised that Woody says this is the film he recommends.

I adore Purple Rose of Cairo. It is perfect in every way. I'm so glad he gave this as one of his two favorites of his own films. It is possibly my favorite of all his films. I enjoyed Husbands and Wives, but it doesn't even make the list of my "top favorites". It is also interesting that it is the last film he made with Mia Farrow, and that while they were filming it, he had already begun his affair with Soon Yi.
