He evolved from a newspaper joker, to an excellent stand up comedian, to really funny director, to an artist genius, and he keep making a movie every year.... and he once was an ant, i mean cant this guy be more amazing?
He amazingly married his adopted daughter too 😊
@@annamous5991 that’s irrelevant here
Yes, he could have not molested his adopted daughter.
I love his work. Especially his earlier, funny movies.
I only love his work, not his personal life. It's messed up.
"You're the greatest lover I've ever had"
"I practice a lot when I'm alone"
Lol ~ ;)
"How could I ruin myself?"
"Excessive masturbation."
"You're gonna start knocking my hobbies now? Jesus." Hahahahaha
" i was talking to a man"
"i am a man"
" i was talking to a much shorter man" XD
love his movies .. are so good .. especially the old ones ... they give me a calm feeling that everything will be good in life
There is nobody like him, a true comic genius!!
Amen
Where else are you going to get smart jokes like that? Nowhere.
Rewatched Small time crooks recently, love his movies! Saw him play Jazz at the Carlyle last October, the best night of my life!!
Ong you are sooooo lucky. Did you get to talk to him?
I love Woody Allen...Thats it..thank you.
I dont care what the world says......................I LOVE Woody Allen--god so funny yet so insightful on mankind and the postmodern world.
Do you care what his own daughter says?
He's innocent but people believe the lies
For those who aren't old enough to be familiar, or perhaps were a little put off by the title, his early movie "Every Thing You Always Wanted To Know About Sex *" is just outrageous joke after gag after bit after joke after gag after bit. If you like this video, start there. For some of us, that period of time (including films like Sleeper and Bananas) produced hilarity that will never be matched. I swear to God, I do not believe he's ever made a bad film, but if you want to see great comic works, you can't go wrong by starting with his first ten or so - including his "earlier funnier ones" :) :)
Bill Woo I laughed so hard watching Sleeper when it came out, I thought I was going to be removed from the theatre in a straight jacket . That’s the least crude manner I could describe it . I had an aisle seat, and @ times found it hard not to fall into it on top of others who had, or just breakdown and grab hold of a perfect stranger, to save me from totally losing my mind, or worse . The thought that I was about to have a heart attack was not very far from the realm of possibilities. I’ll leave the rest to our imaginations, except to say, they all included body fluids . 🤦🏻♂️🥴
@@classygary They're gonna zap my brain? That's my second-favorite organ!
Genius!
One of a kind, in art and as a person.
Genius. Genius. Genius.
I grew up watching his videos... legend
"I was walking threw the woods thinking of Christ, wondering how much he would charge for shelves" so Jewish its painful to repeat. Haha
That’s very antisemitic
@@MyYTaccountName no it's not.
@@MyYTaccountName Jewish humour is very self deprecating. So is English humour, that's why I love it.
Wonderful. Hilarious. Woody's the best. Period.
We love you, Woody!
Thanks for putting this together and posting! :-) Loved it.
Simply the best
so funny at the aspirin part
the best ever!
How amen so little not attractive could be so talented and great director and actor asWoody Allen?❤
Brilliant compilation - cheers. 👍
Well freakin done! Love the compilation/samples of his different movies
What an amazingly wonderful epic edit!
Well put together, thanks for that!!
Thank you so much for this!
To you I'm an atheist; to God I'm the loyal opposition.
This guy is a genius but he just has too many stardust memories impacting his awareness of the present state.
He was brilliant, that’s why everyone hates him.
No, he abused his own daughter. That's why.
@@anirudhgoud5035 WAKE UP SIMPLETON. Soon-Yi Previn was never EVER his daughter. The Clue is in the name. Mia Farrow tried to get the media to destroy Woody Allen, while nobody talks about her 3 dead foreign children, and the foreign kids who grew up and survived her evil abuse including Soon-Yi and her brother Moses Farrow, they went on to describe their horrific abuse by Mia's hands. But in america, nobody really listens to the asian community. Of course she loved her all American looking kids and always put them first. The only problem with Woody's marriage (if you could call a successfull marriage a problem), was the age gap, (even though Soon-Yi was 27 when they married). You should do your research before you speak and not just blindly follow the bullshit media like all the other (P-Brained) cattle on our planet. If you are interested to go past the surface crap the media has painted try this one for starters ruclips.net/video/muyaCg2dGAk/видео.html Then you need to check out ruclips.net/video/uVsDixMvvOQ/видео.html It should wake you up if your perception is working properly.
@@anirudhgoud5035No, he actually didn't and anyone who does any research into the case will tell you that he absolutely did not. Even Mia's attorney doesn't think he did anything.
That's a very good montage indeed!
His observations are still true today which is why his comedy is timeless.
well edited and thoroughly enjoyable video. thank you.
Very nice, well edited montage.
Brill, thanks. Too many pearlers to comment further.
I don't think it's in this compilation although there are some similar ones here, but one of my most favourites of his is: 'My first sexual experience was very frightening. It was dark. I was alone . . .'
Great !
3:46 hahah uhhhhh...yeah
"This Army food will get you every time". Dude, I'm dying!
Woody was a revelation to the sane world. Us deep thinkers understood immediately.
There is a bit of the old John McEnroe about Woody!
But he's horrible in tennis.
The 🐐
Good job. I subscribed.
Yes his "earlier funny ones" were the best. Take the money and run, Bananas, the first half of What's up tiger Lily , and to a lesser extent Sleeper.I still think the last 3 or 4 minutes of " What's up Tiger Lily"is the sexiest scene in a non porno movie I have ever seen in my life. Look it up.
Two words - Hell's bells
People came from all over the world, just to touch the hem of his garment.
It must have been a tremendous hem.
genio genius
Good montage but he has hundreds and hundreds more. Infinitely quotable. And these are just his films. His first three books have thousands more.
Stopped after the making of stardust memories but for 20 years he came up with the most original comedy that has yet to be surpassed.
Great discretion in selecting scenes!
At last great selections without horrible music!
If he was a carpenter, I wonder what he'd charge for a bookshelf.

Groucho Marx joke
( he was my god)
...what about..Broadway Danny Rose ?...legendary movie

This is long so feel free to skim or skip:
My reaction to a Facebook challenge to list top 5 favorite Allen movies (our lists quickly grew longer):
My top 5 favorites are:
Stardust Memories (no a failure in my eyes), Matchpoint, Deconstructing Harry, Manhattan, Love and Death, bonus September (see more above).
Not sure of the order except Stardust Memories is #1.
Vicky Christina Barcelona, Midnight in Paris, plus Hanna and her Sisters brings my list up to nine.
Let's add Everything About Sex for 10.
I don't remember anything about Cassandra's Dream except that I think I liked it. I like that thing that Adi Ludi Shadowspeaker claims doesn't exist: an Allen film that doesn't seem like an Allen film (no Allen character for instance).
You will meet a Tall Dark Stranger also has this quality.
I think reviewer said that this movie illustrates Allen's moral relativism. He doesn't believe that being a good person will necessarily be rewarded. Or vice versa. Match play as a chilling dramatization of that.

*Matchpoint* is a chilling dramatization of that. And, yeah, itrw, it's kind of disturbing that Allen is a moral relativist, if that's accurate interpretation and it seems to be.
I love how Allen processed his public fall from grace with the portrait of dizzyingly pathological Harry. Played by himself.
A new, less cuddly iteration of the self rationalizing seemingly harmless because self effacing narcissist hes played in previous movies. I say narcissist for instance because at the end of Manhattan it's clear that he doesn't deeply care which woman he ends up with, so long as he doesn't end up empty handed.
The food here is awful.
Yes and such small portions.
I love that joke. Like you’d want bigger portions of horrid food.
The joke only gets funnier when I have to explain it.

Which movie is 1:11 from?
I'm a bit late, but that's from "Bananas" (1971), somewhere at the beginning of the movie.
Damn, this is all so politically incorrect now, and he seemed really lighthearted and silly at the time compared to Mel Brooks, who had some crude humor. Funny but I never got into butt and fart jokes after I hit 8. Woody Allen still makes me laugh.
00:29 what movie is this?
annie hall I think
Yeah. I minored in foreplay!!!!!!!!!!
He's Z the ant Antz

Yeah. I minored in foreplay!
everyone loves woody allen. especially his own daughter.
I can no longer converse with other human beings normally after this.... but on the adverse I feel I never wanted to... but then maybe it's the adverse of the inverse or inverse of adverse .. Did I mention masturbation or the converse of sexuality.. the duelistic nature of abstract homogenistic monogamist heterosexuality.... Dhoo....... I
Who would woody play in the bible? and what tribe would he belong too in the bible?
"I see God as an underachiever.." from Love & Death I think
Too Bad Mia Farrow ruined him with her lies
He got over it, but the worst is she ruined her daughter in the process.
Its z
Oh my gosh
Z: I don't like talking about the person that I look like it ruins my life I like to think I'm a different person/ant
His words are even more valuable in 2019 with how ridiculous liberal policies have become.
Funny guy, but I don't like the idea of people changing their birth surnames!
I never understood why this dude was considered to be so funny. And I still don't.
Yes, perspectives cannot differ more. To me he is a super funny guy. Original, raw humor that cannot be replaced. And I am not from NY.
RobertDeville he's not everybody's cup of tea!
