From Seinfeld Season 3 Episode 11 'The Alternate Side': No sooner does Elaine tell Jerry the virtues of dating an older man than she decides to break up with her 66-year-old beau -- a split made more complicated when he has a heart attack in front of Jerry's apartment. To make matters worse, George flunks his new job of parking cars -- which blocks traffic and an approaching ambulance.

About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

People calling Jerry a bad actor was a pretty funny running gag.
You beat me to it! They all had fun with that, including Jerry. I remember him presenting an award at the Emmys or some other awards show ages ago. He said "Hi, I'm Jerry Seinfeld, and I'm a bad actor."
He really was though
He really was, but not to the detriment of the show, perfect time to just have fun with it
Jerry's just like "These pretzels are making me thirsty.😃"
Also calling him a bad comedian.
“You mean A career” I think my favorite aspect of Seinfeld is Jerry’s insults. Especially to Kramer.
I love how he’s like your in the movie?!
Is he in the scene?!
Awe yeah it’s me and him
I might a whole new career on my hands lmao
"No no, see, that's no good. See... you don't know how to act" 😌
Basically what the entire world said about Jerry
But Seinfeld had enough sense of humour to keep that line in the show. He had power to throw out any remarks he did not like, but he kept it .
That's a classic Pogo/Foghorn Leghorn shtick
George stole this entire scene. Quite possibly one of his funniest moments in the entire series 😂
George steals every scene he's in. The best actor out of the series
Almost every scene. George is only topped by his father played by the late Jerry Stiller.
The best part about this scene is when Kramer pulls the gloves out and brings you right back to the beginning of the scene
We rarely get writing like that anymore
Imagine dozens of 40 minutes long videos "explaining" what that last sequence meant...
It was more of "Here's your other loose end, we thought we could fit something about these gloves in but ran out of time"
“SHUT UP!!! SHUT UP!!! I HEAR YOU!!! I’M COMING DOWN!!! THESE PRETZELS ARE MAKING ME THIRSTY!!!!!!!”
Every time I watch this episode or particular scene, I always practice in my head about how I would deliver that line.
You don't have eat pretzels
Larry David is the car jacker
Car thief.
Joy Boy Rider.
Pretty sure he was rustlin' horses not cars already. Larry always had muscles.
2:40 - This and the whale story are George’s finest moments in Seinfeld! 🥨
the sea was angry that day, my friends
Serenity now insanity later
@@fearsomename4517 like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli.
George’s song on his answering machine
"These pretzels are making me thirsty". A classic line. Along with "No soup for you!" and "The Bro. No, the Manzia." also "Yada Yada Yada", plus “A Festivus for the rest of us”, nor forgetting “Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”
Or Jerry’s high pitch voice crack scream 😱 I love it
"Man-zeer" Rhymes with Bra-ssier....not Manzia!
"Yeah that's right." by Puddy
“Hello… Newman”
Double dip, shrinkage, anti-dentite, serenity now, …
“What are you gonna do with it?!”
“I don’t know…. drive around?” 🤔
I love when Elaine asks Kramer if Mia Farrow was there...1:58 Kramer says "I didn't see him" and George just face-palms. That's our Kramer!
It's George's way of saying to himself "and HE gets in a movie!" lol
Weren´t they separated in those days?
@@LauRa-re9un The joke was Kramer didn't even know who Mia Farrow was. "I didn't see him". Not that they were separated, and he didn't know it. LOL, that's a little too 'inside baseball', even for the time.
@@sgt.thundercok4704 Ha ha. Thanks. Do you know if Woody Allen appears in this episode? I am curious and unfortunately I don´t have the chance to watch the show since i don´t have netflix or anything like that.
@@LauRa-re9un He does not.
Elaine so casually says alright I’m gonna go break up with Owen. 😂😂
George's delivery was the best. I always try to say it like george.
The funniest thing about this epsisode was how every scene was going back to the line "These pretzels are making me thirsty!" One of my favorite episodes
"Who put cookies in his mouth?"
2:40 lmao...George's way to say the line the best.
Jerry's version of "these pretzels" was my favorite. Stately, self-important, and self referential, therefore meta, making it even funnier.
"These pretzels are making me thirsty!" Yep, nailed it! 😊
I love George's first interpretation, so dramatic.
These Pretzels... ARE MAKING ME THIRSTY!!!
-George Costanza
One of my all-time favorite "Seinfeld" moments. Especially when George yells, "These pretzels are making me thirsty!" at the drivers.
George's interpretation was the best.
George’s impression was the best!
Jerry about to break at George having a break down is awesome haha.
The series finale last scene when Jerry is doing stand-up in prison, he asks a guy whats he's in for and it's the same guy who stole the car here! He says grand theft auto and then tells Jerry "You suck I'm gonna cut you!' 😆
George's reading was by far the best
It’s crazy I just watched this episode yesterday. It’s really something else to hear them talking about Woody Allen and Mia Farrow in 1991-1992 after knowing what we know now 😭
knowing that Mia lied
@@abrahamlupis9354 sure...🙄
It's like a sort of winking meta reference to how they all portray their characters. A bit like the whole 'Jerry' sitcom arc and it being a show about nothing.
Of course George is going to be the extra hammy one among them 🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣🤣
george was spot on with these pretzels are making me thirsty lol
This has to be one of the best bits of the show.
“What extremities?” A subtle line used by Estelle in a while other season.
3:10 you can even see Jerry’s smirk
Best line ever 🥨
i love how jerry at 3:09 is just smiling taking in george's big meltdown in total stride
George is fairly slender here. Yelling out the window at the parkers, lol!
"Do you know anything about this pretzel guy?!" love it!
a masterful reading from george
georges line made me run around the playground yelling these pretzels are makign thirsty lol
"No, no, you see, that's no good. You see, you don't know how to act." 😆
I know it's too late now since he's announced his retirement after his next film, but it would've been funny if Woody Allen had made a New York-based film with Michael Richards in a cameo bar scene where he actually uses that 'pretzels' line. Ironically, Jason Alexander briefly became a spokesman for Rold Gold Pretzels in the late 90's and never used that line in any of the commercials.
I like how George is drinking Diet Shasta
Jerry- you mean a career.
Thanks to Larry David and his Curb Your Enthusiasm escapades, I can now watch Seinfeld with a different perspective in that George is 80% him, plus 19% Gerry and, yes, he's even got a bit of Kramer in him, which gives me an excuse watch the entire series again, for the (I better not say)nth time.
gerry?
@@BillBagBargensonsBarger yeah, Jerry. And Cramer.
This clip is making me thirsty
After all these years still I feel like to have a good laugh I would watch Seinfeld ,,,,😂😂😂
These Pretzels are making me thirsty.
(Read in Kramer's voice)
His best lines are from the Laugh Factory.
Larry stole Jerry's car 😂
I have to watch old shows to feel normal again.
CLEAR BLUE SKY!!! 😂
The first way Kramer said it was the best, when he wasn't even trying lol
George says it best !!
Can I have it back after you’re done?
Mmm..nah, I’m gonna keep it.
😂😂
God it would of been hilarious is this came full circle if in a random woody Allen movie Kramer was spotted saying this line.
Lol, Larry David stole Jerry's car.
No wonder he broke the glass, he's always rough with everything
George's take is just how he would complain about something on any given day. Including pretzels making me thirsty.
can't be upset with a honest thief🤣🤣
Unique
Woody Allen gets a line in Kramer Movie
The voice of the carjacker is Larry David.
So it was Larry David who stole Jerry's car!
What is funny to me is that Jason used his interpretation of Woody in the first few episodes of season 1...Although he does use that interpretation better than his interpretation of "these pretzels are making me thirsty!"
George whines a lot.
It's Larry on the other side
Actually, it's Frank Costanza's caped lawyer
I thought it was George Steinbrenner
@Vanilla Jack it's the guy in prison when Jerry is doing stand-up, he's in prison for grand theft auto! Then tells Jerry "You suck, I'm gonna cut you!" Lol
If Shakespeare was alive at the end of the 20th century he would of wrote the line These pretzels are making me thirsty.
Michael Richards being in a Woody Allen movie has aged like mayonnaise being left out in the sun.
not exactly, Woody Allen still has support
So 😆
These pretzels are making me thirsty!!!!!!!!!
Elaine has a great deleviery underrated
These pretzels are making me thirsty! 😁
Woody Allen? Seinfeld? Yeah makes sense
2:31 Were the writers making fun of Jerry? XD
I think we needed more episodes with Sid.
Never knew L.D. was actually at one in
point in his life a car thief....
Then he was in the very last scene of the series when Jerry is doing stand-up in prison. When asked what he's in for, he says "Grand Theft Auto" then tells Jerry "You suck, I'm gonna cut you!" 😆
I gotta quality
Woody Allen is one funny guy.
George is pathetic, instead of being happy for Kramer he holds contempt
😂👍
George was pretty good.
That's true, Jerry can't act.
I never thought about it before but why didn’t Kramer and Jerry trap the car jacker when he brought back the gloves? They live in the same building.
They probably were mailed back
Woody Allen? You mean the guy that took advantage of his own adopted daughter and then later married her? Gee how lucky
Why didn’t you tell them you know the future captain hindsight
@@alcaldealer8515 I did
i have never once found anything woody allen does interesting, compelling, entertaining, or even vaguely curious. i dont know what people see in his work, but it must be like those computer generated pictures that you need to unfocus your eyes to see the image
lol i wondering if they made julia leave the scene bev
cause she definetely wouldve broke when george was acreaming out the window
🐩🤣🐕🤣
Doesn’t the car thief sound like Bill Burr?
George hair looks like crap. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡 They shouldve made him cut it off
How would that be funny?
What hair? All I see are the scraps of a once great civilization
No, see thats no good. See you dont know how to act 🤣
the shift in opinions about woody allen has made this ep both didn't age well and somehow funnier
One Netflix doc doesn’t mean anything
opinions that don't matter
@Griphook Flitwick Well hes married to his step daughter so... guess
Lol only Kramer
I went to college to study acting and I landed a gig on a show called Seinfeld…..I got paid $100,000 a show🤷 I’m rich now so I quit the show🙂
Way before the time when marrying your child was popular
Last
He really really was a terrible actor lol
A black man in Seinfeld???
Not the first, and most certainly not the last.
SNL already did that observation on their 40th anniversary special... with Jerry himself mocking it.
@@fromthehaven94 One of the funniest scenes with George is when he finds a family's apartment who rented a movie he has to see for the book club and he manages to invite himself over to watch with them lol
George's audacity and him totally oblivious to social manners is absurdly hilarious... oh, the family is black... there was no need to mention it in order to enjoy the scene but let's validate the stupid comment from "Clive T" or it'll cry.... 🤡😭🤌
@@redacted2275 ”Breakfast at Tiffany’s”
The marathon runner was the best lol.
woody allen... never liked him.
these people did it better.
Not something to be proud of, considering Allen’s past
at the end is a matter that we should mind our own business
Woody Allen offers quality unlike Woke Media
