I remember those beetles in that colour in the late 70s. They came out in that colour, then Gold, Silver and a very vivid metallic green with black trim here in Canada.

It was a really wonderful car!
In Australia this was known as the Volkswagen "L".
It looks so contemporary. VW was actually ahead of its time design-wise. The Beetle will be sorely missed, along with the chatter of its air-cooled engine.

The color here is blue marathon and this specific VW is a Big Beeetle. You can find the model on internet.

Do you happen to know the wheel specs on the 1303 shown here? They are a Lemmerz sport rim, but what is the J length and ET?
