Cosplay Chris do u have an email or other way of contact to ask a couple questions about painting a mask I’m waiting to receive that I know will need to b upgraded?
I love how this new trilogy is doing new things with Michael’s look. The decayed look was so dope in the first one and now with the burnt side he’s looking more and more like a walking rotting corpse
@DarkMonke they didn’t suck. They weren’t for everyone but the weather mask has grown boring. I know this film has flashbacks but after this trilogy I’d like the next set of films to have his clean mask back.
@@WesCaseyProductions but rob zombies was trash and latex dont rot that way plus by the end there was hardly a mask left. Like why put it on and he fuckin spoke micheal never spoke. I get trying to put your twist on it and all that but john carpenter nailed it coming back after so long and so many butchered sequels by other directors
That honestly looks fucking incredible. The final reveal also proves just how important lighting is in making Michael Myers look frightening as hell. Amazing work Chris.
Hit the nail with the mask it looks absolutely incredible with the lighting especially. Also with the “people liking different looks even from the same movie” thing, one of my favorite things is that the prop guys were almost constantly changing the padding and making small changes to the shape of the mask in the 2018 movie to make it feel like it was alive and moving which is so cool
I've just painted my kills mask just like in this video and it's by far my best yet, thanks to this video and Chris's knowledge I've got loads more confidence in painting these as I've painted many in the past that I haven't been satisfied with so thank you mate !
I've watched this video like 50 times, and I'm still fascinated at how well the rehauled mask turned out and how you did it. keep up the amazing and stunning work.
I've been watching every how-to video on this H Kills mask, and this one by-far seems to be the simplest and most straight-forward technique to achieve this screen-accurate mask look. I really love how he took a different approach to than most by painting a brown/black base and then painting the white over top, when it seems everyone else does the opposite; it makes more sense to me to do this way as well and it negates the need for an airbrush setup as well that many others use. I can't wait to try this on my mask now.
Trick or treat studious is where I purchased my 2003 Leatherface mask (my favorite). It was too fleshy colored and had that balding glued hair. I removed the hair, took off the sealer and put washes on it to make it look like rotting flesh. Purchased hair on Amazon and painstakingly hand punched new hair into the latex with some being glued randomly for wisp. I literally sewed burlap to a ripstop tarp to create the apron. It was fun as hell to customize
i watched this video 100 times and paused every 5 seconds lol i did my mask and it looks amazing i never thought i would be able to paint a latex mask before but thanks to chris video it really helped
Loving your videos Cosplay Chris. Im Cosplaying as HKills Michael this October for 10 nights. Making him as accurate as possible. Your tutorials are my rehaul bible. Thank you.
Nope. When I was a kid in the 80s you could not find a single Michael myers mask anywhere. Wasn't until around 1998 that I found a rubies mask in the mall. Kept it a few years until one night I went out with some friends and my girlfriend at the time got so mad about it she ripped it to pieces. Found pieces of it in the yard the next day. All these years later I finally found one close enough to replace it. I'm waiting for the tots kills mask now. Cant wait to break out the paint and start on it.
Glueing the hairline like you did is genius! I was trying to avoid having to rehair my own Myers mask and you just might’ve saved me a massive headache!
totally doing this method, the 2018 rehaul you did feels/might last better but was really intimidating with removIng the original paint/hair etc. Extremely happy with the FINAL OUTCOME CHRIS!1
Cannot wait to try this. Would this latex work. Mehron Makeup Liquid Latex (4.5 oz) (Clear), or this Creature Liquid Latex - CLEAR - General Purpose Professional Special Effects Liquid Latex. They are on amazon. Thanks.
This looks so dope! I'm curious, was there a type of mesh used to put behind the eyes to give more of a "shadowed" look, or was that purely lighting? Either way, this is so sick and makes me want to take a crack at touching up my own mask, haha.
@@looloo6615 I dressed up this Halloween as Michael Myers. I was part of the “living decorations” of my in-laws’ Halloween setup. I wore a morph suit mask underneath. Black, obviously. Since the Michael Myers mask sits away from the face a little when wearing it, you already can just barely see your eyes while wearing it. The morph suit mask underneath takes it up a notch though. I’d go with a full face mask underneath simply because putting mesh on the eyes (like a lot of channels recommend) makes it almost impossible to see out of.
Black pantyhose will do the trick! 😉 your eyes will be visible still, so if you throw a white contact in for Michaels blind eye the pantyhose won’t take away from it, but your eyes will still be obscured…it’s really a neat effect
Only a couple minutes in but had to say man do I miss those NightOwl days.. my Original Psycho mask from Justin.. good times. I rehauled an H40 mask a couple years back and it was great but didn't pick up the HK mask yet..
I bought a Halloween mask and web shooters but instead got two masks... regular masks from Halloween (2018) and was just wondering, would a jet lighter work to make burnt details on the mask? What should I do on a base mask??
Can I use a standar liquid latex instead?..I can’t find the Barnes spray/dip latex..let me know…I would appreciate it. I am doing this project right now. Thanks
Hi Chris. First off, just want to say I absolutely love your channel. I found it when I was going through preparations for Hurricane Irma back in 2017 and I've been hooked ever since. Just wanted to ask if you were going to do a video on the burned look of the coveralls or if you had some tips about doing so. Much love from Florida 👍
Apologies for some sections being muted, Ghouls & Ghoulettes. I received a Copyright claim.
Thank you for your amazing support, stay spooky 🎃❤️
Hey I’m going to repaint the Halloween kills mask what is all the stuff
Cosplay Chris do u have an email or other way of contact to ask a couple questions about painting a mask I’m waiting to receive that I know will need to b upgraded?
Do you add latexspray to the watered down wash or no
Is there anyway u can give me the supplies of what u bought
Hey cosplay Chris very professional good job on the Halloween 🎃 kills mask 🎭 I love it
I love how this new trilogy is doing new things with Michael’s look. The decayed look was so dope in the first one and now with the burnt side he’s looking more and more like a walking rotting corpse
Yeah it’s almost like rob zombie already did that in 2007…
@DarkMonke they didn’t suck. They weren’t for everyone but the weather mask has grown boring. I know this film has flashbacks but after this trilogy I’d like the next set of films to have his clean mask back.
@DarkMonke yes but we are only referring to the 3 new films with the weathered mask….

Best mask I've seen yet !
Yo
Looks amazing my man, awesome job
Mmhmm that’s my mask
Honestly it looks pretty good
woah, what the hell are you doing here, TIA?
@@M7Acedemyno it isn’t

Holy sheet. The way the mask looks after the customization slaps so hard.

What color was the createfx, teak and mahogany look the same so I’m not sure which one to use
Just a heads up, artist oils are awful on masks. Oil eats away at latex. Idk why this guy recommended doing that tbh
What latex did you use because I can’t find the spray latex
What a phenomenal improvement! I'll have to give this a go if I get my hands on a Meyers masks.
I've watched this video like 50 times, and I'm still fascinated at how well the rehauled mask turned out and how you did it. keep up the amazing and stunning work.
I love how u emphasize on how it’s the makers happy medium, it’s not going to come out perfect and that’s what really makes it unique.
Wish I had the courage to overhaul my kills mask. Great job mate

For me the first step alone made it look 100x better
Chris: I have not painted a latex mask since 2006.
His H40 rehaul video: Am I a joke to you?
I WAS WATCHING THE VID AND LITERALLY THOUGHT ABT COMMENTING THIS EXACT COMMENT 🤯🤯🤯
I love how many CCCs you've been doing these days! So much fun! Fantastic work yet again!
Amazing tutorial. Thank you. Mask looks awesome!!
This looks amazing, the fact that this was made from a stock mask is incredible
I will definitely be using this video to guide me on making my mask that I get from spirit this yeah better! Thank you for showing us how to do this!

Hell Yeah!!!! I bought Justin's Part 7 Jason mask back in 2003
You did a great job on it it looks amazing

I love it!!
Myself i would gave after this a full burnt umber mixed with yellow acrylic wash and spray it with glossy varnish.
Honestly just that first coat of wash takes it up another level
Woow. Look so Amazing🤩🖤

Great video! If I had one of those masks I would try and make it look as sick as yours.
Great job as always on this mask. The paint jobs vary so much from mask to mask. They almost always need to be modded.
Killer job brother.
Horrifying 😲 Michael is my favorite classic slasher villain 💜 the original Halloween is 😙🤌🏻 chefs kiss

This is so epic. I am so gonna do this for my friend whose a Halloween fan.
Came here just to say how awesome that looks.
I need to learn how you dry brushed the white back on. I did it on mine and it looks alil toned grey. Thanks for the tutorial though! 🤘
My goodness this looks amazing!
Are you going to be selling them? I would 100% be interested!
Sick Jason mask, dude. 🤙
Looks so much better!!
At 8:45 will just regular liquid latex be okay because I can’t find the spray latex
It works just fine!
The intense music at 19:00 did you make that tune yourself on a app or site? Or is there an actual soundtrack for it? It was dope

I’m trying to find something like that to use with my TOTS mask! I prefer the solid black eyes look, think it could be black mesh whilst you wear it?
@@looloo6615 Absolutely! Maybe some black Tulle fabric from a craft store. I definitely wanna try it myself

Awesome mask! Ive been trying to get my base coat on my mask but it seems to be flaking/have flakes over the pain, any suggestions?
You should do a Halloween 1 or 2 mask if you have time. You do amazing work
Good work as always!

is the varnish already watered down or are u using it straight out of the bottle? and when done u dont use any coat to protect mask and last longer?
AMAZING. I would love to see a Jason mask after you got through with it

When you use the Testors Acrylic wash did you mean Mahogany or Teak ? I don’t seem to see a brown.
