Really did a fine job here with your attention to detail. The steel wool alone makes it look so much more realistic, and the fact that you took the time to sand and paint the rivets the correct color is a great touch
Amazing! Can’t wait for the coveralls! I saw another custom coveralls being done and they used black fabric paint and a sea sponge with that very unique texture effect and looks identical to the screen used covers, might be something to look at.
Hello Chris this is amazing I also do custom but you have an incredible talent and it shows that you are a real fan of Michael myers congratulations !!!
This help Chris. Can’t wait for the kills coveralls video. I already did my coveralls and made them very screen accurate. How I made the Burns is Matt black puffy paint and slick black puffy paint. And I Doubt it on with a sponge
Great vid :) Do you think you can get the same results on the knife with a tube of ready made fake blood ? I live in the EU and it might be quite difficult to find the exact same cans of spray paint over here :(
Awesome Video!!! I have 1 question tho, does anyone know of any paint brands with paints of similar color to the Dulux Duramax Red Box that are available in the USA bc from what i can tell, that brand isnt in the USA sadly.
Thanks so much for doing this Chris I have been looking forever to try to find anyone that has done a great job weathering one of these knives and I can’t find any to save my life. I’ve been sitting on mine for just about a year now and I’ve been too afraid to try to weather it myself and ruin it but I appreciate the tips! The rivets are a really nice touch I never even thought of doing something like that but as soon as you try to do any sanding I know they disappear fast. PS I caught the bit at the end where you’re going to be weathering your workrite replica coveralls? Did you know I actually helped quarterback that through Legion Safety? Lol yeah I kept contacting them over the coveralls and told them after they were going to be discontinued that if they can produce a replica it would sell quite well and I’m sure the community would really appreciate it. Long story short they worked hard with Chicago protective apparel and got it done but I was one of the first few that really pushed for that! So I’m very excited to see your weathering job you do on them. Cheers
Yoo Chris, i just ordered the Trick or Treat Studio's 2018 Mask! So hyped about it. I'll be Michael for Halloween. Quick question btw how big is your head in inches and how does te mask fit you?
Nice work!..... But its Anodized, not Adonized..... Anode as in err.. Anode rather than Cathode... That's how Anodizing works.. It causes essentially aluminium "rust" on the surface which allows dyes to chemically bond with the aluminium creating a surface far harder than raw aluminium. I LOVE your vids and am SOOOO hoping that one day you might do something that is available to us mere mortals here in the uk.... (although I DID manage to do a Kylo Ren sabre hilt using your shoe-polish technique!!)
Hey Chris, I know you’re busy and all but I was wondering about what the most trustworthy cosplay stores are? I found one called cosmanles, are they good? Are there any other affordable options?
When I did my knife, I put it between my fingers and thumb and slid the blade to simulate like it went in and pulled out. Or maybe Michael was wiping the blade. 🤷

This is awesome Chris! These type of videos get me so pumped for October!
I love that the Halloween franchise's answer to merch is to just give people fake murder weapons lol.
Well it's a franchise based around serial murders. What kind of merch do you expect them to produce? Bunnies and unicorns.

I'm looking for something as well!
hey Chris, is there a reason you chose to use spray paint over regular paint for the blood?

I wanna seee him do a haligan bar for cheap so i can carry that around for Halloween
The Shape Talks
Well, at least I know how to make the '78 tots knife replica's blade look like actual stainless steel

Haha yeah man I though I wasn’t pronouncing it properly, cheers for the correction 😁
we need a Netflix Daredevil cosplay tutorial
Is the red paint used watered down? I'm going to do this and it looks watered down for easier application
Awesome,
Maby make more blood types like adding cereal for getting that flesh chunky feeling.
we want the coveralls tutorial!
What other red paint would work since I can’t find the 2 reds?
What happened to the tactical batsuit?
Can you do this to a halloween 2018 knife?
Hey Chris, I know you’re busy and all but I was wondering about what the most trustworthy cosplay stores are? I found one called cosmanles, are they good? Are there any other affordable options?
bro, it looks like you just pulled that out of a police evidence locker 😳

Hey Chris, don't forget to tell us all about your THOR Love and Thunder contributions once you're able.
There was something very unsettling about that very upbeat and happy outro coming from that mask wielding a bloody knife XD
Neither one of the paints used for blood isn't available where I'm from... Anyone have ideas?
Definitely use fake blood as pain
Or just use a pot of blood for the blood god from games workshop and be done in 5 min. :p
@CosplayChris may I buy one off you? Need shipped to the United States.
They didn't used Lamson knife in Kills
Yeah they did it was the mob scene and Karen’s death he used a lamson
@@michaelmyersoftn it wasnt lamson
@@michaelmyersoftn It was Laguiole en aubrac kitchen knife
Yo
First
Don’t mean to be a smart ass but, you said butchers knife but it’s actually an kitchen knife. Anyway nice job!
Why not buy the real knife and blunt the edge .
I don’t think it would be allowed in cosplay conventions 🤔
