The problem is with illegal migrants. If the guys in restaurants have permits or are waiting for their permits then there is no problem. Deportation is not a new thing it's always been happening don't scare people for nothing!

For your information some waiters are on ZEP permits which are valid till November 2025. Some of them have applied for waivers to move on to other permits and have receipts which confirm their application.

@@TheHuny85 You have a literacy problem because you don't read. The purpose of a waiver is to waive all the requirements and is being given because most ZEP permit holders don't qualify for other visa's like scarce skills.
Once the waiver is successful a ZEP holder can apply for a general work permit which is valid for 5 years.
It's important to read before you embarrass yourself and display your ignorance.
Had it not be the crime that other foreigners were committing here in SA, things would have been different, Zimbabwens drew attention to themselves, also failed to call out their own who were committing crime in a foreign land.
