This is a great idea for using up the colors left from other projects. The colors here are so pleasant, and the line work really adds to the composition and appeal. Beautiful!!!
So excited to hear you will be creating some informative color mixing tutorials. I know absolutely zero about mixing and getting expected results. 🎉 I learn so much from your channel and truly appreciate you. 😊
thank you - I used your modeling to just play with colors I don't normally play with. And I too LOVE Buff Titanium. I hadn't thought to mix it like you did so it was fun.
You are the best of teachers! This bits and pieces of paints used was perfect for me! I tend to drop paint for project I’m working on, and then clean up when I’m done! How extravagant of me! Silly me, now I know better. Of course I’m a home painter and at times sporadic,,but I learned a very good lesson today! Happy Nee Year and I really appreciate you! Karen Dirmish, learner!
Hello Diane I really enjoy watching your tutorials. You have given me the confidence to have a go at painting. It is Your friendly non judgemental way that I really appreciate. I also love to see your garden and studio. Thank you for being you.
I finally got my Diane Antone brush set, and I was so excited! Then on Jan 7, my brother passed away. I wasn't able to paint for a while, but yesterday I finally tried the new brushes. I used the 9 long and the cats tongue, and I am happy to say I love those brushes. I can't wait to try the others. Thank you Diane! Now I am binging your latest videos. I love them all and you always cheer me up. Let me say I really appreciate you and Happy New Year! I think Vancouver Island must have the same weather as Brittany. Yours always seems to be quite comparable, but spring will be here soon!
We had cold food…southern hemisphere Christmas! Gammon, chicken, chipolatas with salads. I love your blobs that become blossoms and this is a wonderful way to use up paint on a palette. The colours are beautiful. I must look up your recipe for buff titanium. I remember that you mixed it a year or two ago.
Bises mon amie , a bientot
Don't worry about cutting out the bottom portion of your paper at the beginning - I enjoyed watching you dive into all the left-over colors in your pallets! I do that all the time because I'm such a cheap-skate! I just bought a DS buff titanium before Christmas and haven't had time to play with it yet. I'm looking forward to it!
I love this idea "Meditation in doing dishes". I so much love your channel. Thank you for been here. And I wish all the best for you and your family for coming year 2024.
Beautiful colours, the sepia finishes it off so well. Love waking on a Saturday morning (Australia) to watch a Diane video, over breakfast. Very inspiring, and relaxing, thankyou 😀
Thank you so much for doing the line work.. Its adds so much to it for me.. thank you.. I find it relaxing to do myself AND watching you do it. Hugs! deb
Been out of video contact for a few days and missed your wit, wisdom and lovely painting style. Really enjoyed this. Thanks for all of yourself you have given this year. Look forward to continue to follow your artful journey in 2024!
I'm cleaning my studio out as well. It's been hard work, but my reward was discovering a full set of Derwent Inktense pencils in a wooden box that I had no idea I owned. I may have inherited them from my sister and just forgot about them. Excited now to see what other jewels I will find. Those colors are beautiful.
This reminds me of the mixing palette challenge I took part in in 2021. After each project, a picture was painted with the leftover paint. This was done until the mixing palette was clean. With before and after photo. It is unbelievable how many pictures you could paint with the leftovers.👍👍👍
You are amazing. It is such a pleasure to watch you as you create a beautiful composition. I love your color choice also. All so soothing to look at also. I think I will purchase a tube of titanium buff!
This was fun! I am a knitter and also used to spin and weave. I still have a project on my loom that I really need to finish, and may use that as an opportunity to teach my grandchildren; at least show them! 😊
Lovely work, Diane! Don't be scolding yourself over the camera position - I rather enjoyed watching the colors you were dipping in and combining. Lots of times artists don't show their palette as they create and we miss your magic! Thank you so much for your dialog - talking to us and explaining your thought process. I learn lots from you! Happy New Year!
That's lovely! We had left over lasagna from Christmas eve, fyi. Was standing on a table to reach something, table broke, & serious damage to my thigh thus daughter did all the work😅
I love your comment... "ecstatically fantastic" about the green you made with the buff titanium. I have a tube of it that I haven't used. I'll have to do some experimenting.
A Happy New Year and thank you for the fun and enjoyment of last year's painting projects. Also, for the really helpful suggestions for supplies, my family took up the hints I dropped and I got pallets and paint this year instead of bath foam and unguents!
What a great idea! You have brightened up and lightened up my day! Thanks so much! I was just trying to figure out my goofed up checking account, so this gets me back into a good mood!!!
I love the mix of colors. I’m a HUGE fan of ink line work. To me, it adds depth and it keeps the painting interesting. Knowing when to stop can be difficult for me, lol! This piece is lovely Diane, thank you! Happy new year! 👏❤️
I have a stack of small plates with dried paint. I use that adding what pigments I think I might need....so satisfying. Loved listening to you today as well as watching your brush at work. And as always, your final touches reveal a lovely graceful painting. You make me smile from my heart.
Thank you so much Connie for your kind words and all your encouragement and enthusiasm for the channel over the past year. Wishing you a very happy and healthy new year and lots of fun painting time! ❤️❤️❤️
Please would you do a tutorial on flower perspective. The stamens made such a difference to this painting and I would love some more guidance on this. Thank you and a peaceful 2024.
I love these colors! Lovely way to do some great practice…I need to use my sepia pen, really finishes off the piece. Thank you Diane, so much instruction, as always. Xo
Just beautiful Diane... I listened to it a few times but i couldn't decide what exactly you had resisted buying for a long time.. a certain brand of paint or a color??? lol
Absolutely love this!!! I have been organizing my painting area and supplies and just put your coloring books I purchased and printed in a binder. So excited for just some no-pressure painting.
I love how the flowers came out
This turned out great! Palette clean ups are the best.
Im a Nanna. And, my grandchildren paint together, have since they were old enough to hold a paintbrush. ❤😊
No worries on camera. We got to see other things we dont get to see 😊❤ Love the colors of the painting 😊
Very pretty close Diane! ❤
Absolutely beautiful colours and composition! Thank you.
"...the paint knows what it was put there for." - love that - I often say something similarl but things do NOT turn out quite as wonderful...lol
Love the colours in this piece. Very enjoyable, Thankyou, Diane.
This is a great idea for using up the colors left from other projects. The colors here are so pleasant, and the line work really adds to the composition and appeal. Beautiful!!!
Simply lovely Diane! Thank you for sharing your talents.
A joy to watch. Thank you

I love this idea "Meditation in doing dishes". I so much love your channel. Thank you for been here. And I wish all the best for you and your family for coming year 2024.
I have buff titanium but haven't used it much. I will now! Ha! And I have the sepia pens too! Yay!
Beautiful colours, the sepia finishes it off so well. Love waking on a Saturday morning (Australia) to watch a Diane video, over breakfast. Very inspiring, and relaxing, thankyou 😀

I like the use of the sepia pen instead of black. I never thought of that, but will try.
Been out of video contact for a few days and missed your wit, wisdom and lovely painting style. Really enjoyed this. Thanks for all of yourself you have given this year. Look forward to continue to follow your artful journey in 2024!

Those colors are beautiful.
That is awesome! Thanks so much!
You paint with such ease. I know that is because of practice, which I need more of. So pretty and soft colors I love.
I love this! It’s just what I needed for post Christmas doldrums. Thank you!
My 192th. Nice way to clean up your pallets. 😊wim
This is so pretty and simple. I love it!!

Soft and pretty…I enjoyed this use of pre-mixed colors!

They can definitely pile up!!

Could you try a highland cow ?
They are quite popular and I would love watch your twist. Happy new year !! 🎊
Happy new year! Great idea!
I love to see the ease you paint!
Forgive me for asking, but if buff titanium is neutral, why is it good to use it?
Where do you get those little dishes
I used this tutorial as my first project...love your loose style and the pen...anyone know the pen Diane was using?
Hi Rita, I was using this one: Winsor & Newton Fineliner Fine Point Pens - Sepia amzn.to/3S9zRhY
Glad you enjoyed the video x
@@DianeAntoneStudio thank you so much! Love your videos!

How do you keep the DUST off your paint
