Easiest Method to Propagate Hydrangeas!

Today I will share with you the easiest method to propagate Hydrangeas. We are gonna use an Annabelle Hydrangea for this project and start them in water. Its early July and that should be enough time for them to root and plant out in the garden so they can establish before winter.

Hi propogated several hydrangea last year by just cutting them off the mother bush....pulling the bottom leaves off and putting them straight into the ground.....that worked very well

I have that Perennial Gardening book by Harrowsmith too. It was a useful guide when I was designing my perennial gardens years ago. I would recommend it for the Canadian gardener. Bonny

What happen to the 2022 Annebelle propagation?? Did any of them take??

Yes some took some didn’t make the winter really I should have started them July. All rooted so that wasn’t an issue.
