"Do you remember what you said to me, brother? Do you remember what you said to me as we fought before the Pyramid of Photep? Do you remember the words you used? I do. As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. This song perfectly captures bjorn. He has waited and fought for 10,000 years. And he will keep doing so until the wolf king returns. I want a book about there reunion. Seeing bjorn's face of pure happiness seeing his father come back from that "cigarette" run
This is 40k - Bjorn will fall moments before his father's return, most likely in a desperate last stand to bring him back. His sacrifice will pave the way.
@@phoenixflames2455 A sacrifice he could be told about and say "I go to my death willingly, happily even! To bring my father back, to bring his much needed ferocity to bear against humanity's enemies...I walk with light steps and a joyous heart brothers! Funny thing is that I have listened to this dozens of times and it was only after reading the description that I realized this song was about Bjorn and Ahriman instead of Leman and Magnus. I thought it was Leman speaking of his fight in the warp for a way to cure the Emperor or bring Magnus back to Terra in chains, and to achieve forgiveness for not being there when the Emperor needed him most and failing to stop Magnus completely/being tricked by Horus. An endless war for him with the hope he would bow before his father and Emperor, healthy and whole again. Even if he fights in the warp forever he dreams of his father. I thought it was Magnus reflecting on how few of his sons are still alive with the rest and Prospero being dust and how he wants to return to his father, the Emperor, that he wants another chance, that he has not forgotten what used to be, has not forgotten what it meant to truly be beside his father and the glory of those days, of the hope of enlightening humanity to a new future. But he is still a child who hasn't learned from his mistakes because he "demands return" but admits he hasn't learned truly and can't do so in his current state. But yet he wages endless war for his sons but wishes for yesterday's glories. They already have a great song, Awaken from Jojo's Bizzare Adventure. Why bother trying to improve upon perfection? In seriousness I would like to see a song for the Custodes, especially in the older canon where they are finding a endless war in the webway against the daemons.
Every time I listen to this masterpiece, I always imagine Leman singing first with his boys then Magnus is singing, and the last little point is the battle between primarchs. When there is that sad lullaby part, I imagine Leman screaming the name of the magnus in the warp and magnus layin on the ground while talking.
There's a HMKids songs about them. Here's a rough translation of the beginning "Our homeworld was destroyed in a blinding fire and for 500 years we've been trying to redeem ourselves from the sin of war Instead of faces we have gas masks, the lasgun replaced our families We shall cleanse the world from infections and set our enemies on fire"
That. Was amazing! Another spectacular track StringStorm! This song kinda makes me think that this would be used either by Russ or Magnus as an entrance theme if they were wrestlers. I love it
Honestly my dude. If anyone can make warhammer 40k music you can definitely do it. Like my lord I flipping love this and the world aflame song. You do you and good job mate.
the asymmetry between the Wolves and the Sons is on display here; Bjorn still longs to be forgiven for a perceived failure even though Russ chose to leave him behind precisely because he was the one could be trusted to maintain the Rout's Traditions. In this he exemplifies the obedience noted by Kahn at the beginning of "Betrayer". Contrasted with Ahriman who still maintains that he did nothing wrong and demands to return to the side of Magnus, just like the Sons whose disobedience (even with good intentions) was the source of their ultimate downfall.
Hey! Stringstorm! If you indend on making another Idol month, you could use an unofficial character for Dark Eldar: Reri Hasperax, her majesty daughter.
For TTS, I hope when Leman and Magnus meet up again Magnus is ready for a fight, but Leman hugs him and apologizes. Then brotherly crying and drinking ensue.
The Space Wolves actually got better with their Primarch's absence. They were real douchebags back when Leeman Russ led the chapter. But now that he's gone, the Space Wolves actually grew themselves a noble heart. Leeman Russ was way too eager to eradicate the Thousand Sons and Magnus himself. Now we got Space Wolves who are loyal to the bone. Looking less like beasts, and more like the Salamanders.
Ironically despite being about the Space Wolves and Thousand Sons, this actually kind of sets the tone for a lot of 40K in general. After all, every single loyalist Chapter except the Smurfs has lost their father in one way or another.
...and, to be honest, the theme of absolutely loss and failure is quite acurate feeling of all loyalist primarchs who survived Siege. :) (okay, at least Rogal Dorn and Roboute Guilliman). Someday I once more will kneel To your crown and to your steel And the very stars shall tremble With the power of our will! Father, we will meet again Even, maybe, on this plane For ten thousand years havе I fought for my own For ten thousand years spent in еndless war And yet I still wait for ten thousand more To earn your forgiveness and for what once shone Those lyrics just have very, very strong and raw dornian emotions, themes and views.
This is truly an amazing song a son that will never stop waiting for his father's return even if it takes 10,000 years or more he'll wait for his father.
ha ha...there is a big difference heretic,s between a bump in the road that burned a death world...and to that ultimate slaughter, the wolfs paid the sons of Magnus. the big difference is that the wolfs still howls, Fenris still stand while Prospero is a dusted land space of ashen glass and an empty reminder of Horus betrayal and Magnus mistakes. The Vlka Fenryka can still recruit, while the sons of Magnus are still hiding in the warp. this was a pry victory but a victory nonetheless something a heretical dog like you might have forgotten in your own self-indulgence.
Ehm, you do know what kinds of destruction Fenris suffered, right? And that Magnus brought his planet from warp and now rules Prospero system again? And that it was made possible by sucking all energy from Fenris and by slaughter, that imperials brought there, just as Magnus planned? Yeah, victory, right.
*Emperor:* Why do my Legions keep thinking that they need to be forgiven, when there is either nothing to forgive or have already been forgiven. (Turns to Inquisition) What have you been teaching them? *Inquisition:* Reformation and redemption. *Emperor:* More like heresy. Kriegers, get 'em! *Kriegers:* (Happy gasmask noises and shovel rattling)
I could be wrong but I believe he was a part of Russ's honor guard and when Russ left, he took all of his guard but Bjorn and left him in charge of the space wolves. Bjorn thinks it was because he wasn't good enough to go with his primarch so he seeks forgiveness.
Not impossible, but he cant be redeemed in his current state. As he was split into shards, the accumulation known as the "Crimson King" is Magnus' vengeful and bitter side, his good virtues spread around the galaxy
ValeriusSpero the problem is, that the good parts are almost certainly destroyed. The part of Magnus representing his nobilty was fused with a loyalist Thousand Sons psyker which created Janus, first supreme grandmaster of the Grey knights, who is dead, and the part representing his fatherly care for his sons and his good intentions faded away whilest resisting beeing absorbed by the Crimson King. The rest was basicly absorbed into the CK and the holes were probably patched with tzeentchian warpstuff.
The Grey Knights and the Blood Ravens arguably represent the positive aspects of Magnus in the galaxy. The Crimson King is just another echo of a dead Primarch.
@@trizeven Just leave it to the Blood Ravens. They are likely to find a way to "aquire" all the shards, including the Crimson King himself, and redeem Magnus if they discovered the truth.
I've been thinking about it, and I can only imagine two fitting ends for Magnus, if GW decides to continue his story. Either he dies on a rematch fight with Russ( with maybe the two of them finnally understanding eachother a little before Magnus bites the dust-no pun intended), or ( highly unlikely, but one can always dream) he actually redeems himself, and sacrifices himself to save the Imperium.
I hate what the wolves for what they did to prospero but understand Horus betrayed Russ loyalty. I weep for Magnus and his sons for they were turned to chaos but were still loyal sons and we lost the noble magnus we once knew.
Do you think theirs some part of russ and magnus who love each other? Some part of them which hopes against all odds that things can still be made right even if that can never be?
For Leman? Yeah probably, if you ask me Leman, in his own way, loved most of his brothers but he needed to get his head out of his ass at times (as did most of the Primarchs). Yes he disagreed with the practices of Magnus' Legion but considering they were basically keeping daemons as pets... yeah might be an area or three where one can voice their concerns about their practices. Magnus said it well when he said that Leman truly didn't want to do what he was doing but he was following orders, as he had done with the II and XI Primarchs. The fact that that was a concern says to me that yes he had some love for Magnus and might still do or have regrets at seeing what happened to them. For Magnus? I would say if he could, like Leman, get his head out of his ass and understand the warnings that the Emperor and Leman and just about everyone else gave him were being given for a reason and it wasn't Russ being a "backwards savage". Beyond that he probably had an affection for all his brothers and he did love his father so maybe there is a hope if he could understand... but that might be far far too late. What I hear in this song is not just Ahriman wanting to return to his Primarch but also Magnus wanting to return to how it was but not knowing how.
Could be. Leman loved his brothers eve though he was made to kill them. I have a theory that he went to the Eye of Terror to find good fragment of Magnus to save him from his fate. Or started looking for it once he discovered in Eye of Terror that Magnus was broken into pieces. I don't know about Magnus though.

Bjorn the Fel handed is one of the most tragic chars in 40k when you think of it, but it so rarely gets thought of that way
@@briandavion because he's huge badass and smashes through the problems
THE FANGS OF FENRIS BITE DEEP!
I punched out one his heartswhy does nobody remember that!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I finished reading A Thousand Sons while listening to this on loop. I gotta say, it really hits different
Can you do one for the Custodes?
Captain-General Kitten captain Kitten i saw tau on my way here
You mean the golden banana men?
They already have a great song, Awaken from Jojo's Bizzare Adventure. Why bother trying to improve upon perfection?
In seriousness I would like to see a song for the Custodes, especially in the older canon where they are finding a endless war in the webway against the daemons.
Elysian Kentarchy yeah I talked to him via Discord and he said he would do a boy band version of the idols including the Custodes
By the emperor! He has blessed us even more!
I love that one bit. 'And the very stars shall tremble with the power of our will.'
You should make a song for the death korps of Krieg, maybe using one of the Imperial German songs as some sort of base
There are, but not by Stringstorm.
Scribe Hammar song name?
Malik og gutterne No. 1 fan I don't quite remember, but I think it's from HMKids.
There's a HMKids songs about them. Here's a rough translation of the beginning
"Our homeworld was destroyed in a blinding fire
and for 500 years we've been trying to redeem ourselves from the sin of war
Instead of faces we have gas masks, the lasgun replaced our families
We shall cleanse the world from infections and set our enemies on fire"
Oh yeah, could be really awesome
This is my favorite 40k fan song but i think 1000suns and wolves deserve their own
*FOR PROSPERO!*
*FOR OUR CRIMSON KING!*
*FOR RUSS*
*FOR THE ALLFATHER*
_All your bases are belongs to Russ_
Lord Shaxx of the Vlka Fenryka Fucking Furries
WE AR TEH EMPROR FURRIES!
Lord Shaxx of the Vlka Fenryka The furriest of them all!
I see what you did here.
I keep coming back to this master piece.
This video is so good not a single point in the song is replayed
the asymmetry between the Wolves and the Sons is on display here; Bjorn still longs to be forgiven for a perceived failure even though Russ chose to leave him behind precisely because he was the one could be trusted to maintain the Rout's Traditions.
We shall wait ten thousand years and ten thousand more for TTS, we are defeated but not destroyed...
Instrumental please?
This is awesome.
Also, Magnus did nothing wrong.
This weekend!
Hey! Stringstorm! If you indend on making another Idol month, you could use an unofficial character for Dark Eldar: Reri Hasperax, her majesty daughter.
M Korda nothing intentionally wrong...
M Korda ahriman did nothing wrong!!!!
Magnus did everything wrong for all right reasons!
This is the best work on the channel, absolutely love it!
I must admit, I did not liked this song at first, but it grows on you.
For TTS, I hope when Leman and Magnus meet up again Magnus is ready for a fight, but Leman hugs him and apologizes. Then brotherly crying and drinking ensue.
I try to imagine the scene and almost start to crying here
Okay, unexpected feels. This song is awesome
Someday I once more will kneel
To your crown and to your steel
And the very stars shall tremble
With the power of our will!
Father, we will meet again
Even, maybe, on this plane
For ten thousand years havе I fought for my own
For ten thousand years spent in еndless war
And yet I still wait for ten thousand more
To earn your forgiveness and for what once shone
Those lyrics just have very, very strong and raw dornian emotions, themes and views.
ngl i had no idea this was referring to bjorn, i always thought it was regarding leman and magnus, love learning these things about warhammer/songs
Vengeance for Prospero!
Justice brother, not vengeance for our cause is just.
Death to the wolf spawn!
@Grimnar I remember that Fenris is actualy burning and his population getting exterminate after a Thousands Sons incursion :))
This is beautiful...thank you for all your stellar work StringStorm
And I thought that Idol Month was over but apparently Space Wolves also get a song.
Still waiting for Lelith Hasperax as Drukhari Idol
This is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard
Pure excellence, I will be listening to this as I paint my rubrics
a whole new meaning this has now
Futuristic Norwegian/Egyptian rap
Not something I ever thought I would like but here we are
Back to these cool songs about 40k!! Thank you once again!
😊
I feel this song could fit both Magnus and the old wolf
This is truly an amazing song a son that will never stop waiting for his father's return even if it takes 10,000 years or more he'll wait for his father.
Don’t worry my sons I will return… WHEN I FIND THAT NERD AND FINISH THE JOB I STARTED 10,000 years ago
not about magnus
Remember prospero.
Kind of hard to forget all those dead bodies. I laugh every time I remember.
Avenge the burning prospero!!!
Prospero was avenged. Wolves now understand how it feels, to see their planet dying.
ha ha...there is a big difference heretic,s between a bump in the road that burned a death world...and to that ultimate slaughter, the wolfs paid the sons of Magnus. the big difference is that the wolfs still howls, Fenris still stand while Prospero is a dusted land space of ashen glass and an empty reminder of Horus betrayal and Magnus mistakes.
I would LOVE to hear the same kind of song but about Emperor and Horus.
What does Bjorn need forgiveness for?
I could be wrong but I believe he was a part of Russ's honor guard and when Russ left, he took all of his guard but Bjorn and left him in charge of the space wolves. Bjorn thinks it was because he wasn't good enough to go with his primarch so he seeks forgiveness.
Singular most badass thing I've heard all week.
Cadia Stands.
I pray that you’ll do a song about the Iron Warriors during/before the Heresy. I’d love to see your lyrical take on the Unbreakable Litany
Its sad, that GW made it impossible for Magnus to be rehabilitated. Would have been awesome.
Eh, space magic can do wonders, if they want him rehabilitated, they will be able to do so.
Are you wulfin kidding me?! This is great
i'm gonna quot:
I love war
-Major from hellsing ultimate
I do like how some of Requirem for Dominique slips in now and again
And than Bjorn went back to sleep :D
Your music is AWESOME, I really like this😀😀
Can wait to see Magnus and Leman reunited
I will wait 10,000 years and i'll wait 10,000 more.
This song seems to fit the Thousand Sons more than the Space Wolves
i expect this being in tts ep 26 when magnus and leman meet
We need a 10 hours version!
If one believes in the cycle of rebirth of the soul then we really have been for 10 thousand years fighting in a war in our actual history.
I may love siege warfare and there for Imp Fists are where I am, but my heart is with the Wolves!
A brilliant way to revive magnus would be for the Blood Ravens to be secretly "collecting" his shards.
Isso é uma obra de arte!
a pity russ was tricked by horus Remember prospero
You’d think the emperor would tell Russ to ignore orders from Horus.
@@Alexander59059 At that point, Russ didn't know that Horus had fallen, so he thought that Hours was still the Warmaster and simply assumed that the emperor had changed his mind.
@@claudiu-mihaipuiu1221 yes, but the emperor would have reason to believe so and he gave Russ his orders
This is wolfing awesome.
Bjorn we honor you.
cant wait for instrumental version
Huh I know Magnus did do wrong but I feel sorry for him for trying to do something good for his Father when it came to Horus's betrayal.
By the Omnissiah this is good
Sad thing is emperor made primarchs antagonist to eachother. MAGNUS DID EVERYTHING WROWNG FOR ALL RIGHT REASONS.
Not the Emperor, more like Chaos. If the fucking reality tumours didn't separate them from their father and each other, all of them would have grown up together in peace and harmony. But noooo, chaos just had to be a dick and scatter them.
@@danielstephenaguilos9346 oh plz, the heresy would've happened. If his wife couldn't stand him, his sons can't either
@@thomastakesatollforthedark2231 Yeah, defend his "wife". The one who scattered the Primarchs and subjected Angron, Kurze, And Mortarion to fates worse than death on their landing worlds. Their "mom" was a fucking asshole.
@@thomastakesatollforthedark2231 Imagine supporting that fucking bitch Erda. If she wasn't such a huge douchebag, Angron wouldn't have had to deal with the constant pain of the Butcher's nails. Kurze wouldn't have had to grow up all alone in a world full of criminal scum. Mortarion wouldn't have had to labor and waste away under fucking Necare. Perturabo wouldn't have had to grow up in a planet literally so close to the eye of terror. SHE and CHAOS are responsible for the Primarch's own misery.
