@@7daysfan932 looks like it. And its basically a perfect quote to be using. Partly because the giant robots there are basically titans. They lack all the typical firepower, but they are rather very good at melee.
Unless you are a Cadian. They built their reputation on punching daemon princes in the face.
People love to say the Katachan are these badasses but in reality, once they aren't in a jungle they become fodder that is WORSE than every other Guard. Cadians are deployed on any and all kinds of worlds, and they fight anything...but what they are really...really...really good at killing is something every other Guardsman fears, daemons.

To all the people who say titans are impractical, you forget the mere intimidation factor of a walking mountain sized church covered in guns
I know I would void my bowels at the sight of a massive walking cathedral with guns bigger than my entire suburb
and the fact it has giant void sheilds so it isnt felled immediatly be artillery bombardment like most humanoid giant robots would
They also forget that if you put enough faith into something for long enough it will come true in a way or another. So the titan works cuz the admechs say so

The AdMech have a sort of Trinity going. The Machine God, The Omnissiah, and the Motive Force.
The Machine God is the sum of all wisdom and knowledge, by its grace are things known.
The Omnissiah is the pinnacle of Human knowledge, wisdom, and basically the Machine God given flesh. The Emperor is this to most of the AdMech.
The Motive Force is the thing that fuels all of life and creation, the simple transfer of electrons from something to something else. A simple process, but one that drives everything ever. It is through it that the Machine God works.
There are several different sects that see the Emperor as THE Omnissiah, but there are also quite a few that don't see him as the only Omnissiah (like how there are multiple buddahs.) Or believe that the Omnissah isn't the Emperor.

They are not that impractical in- universe, given they have shielding technologies.

In terms of raw material you could build 7.8 Baneblades per Warlord and Baneblades are far faster to create, more Forge Worlds are capable of making them, and they can do something no Titan can: they can hide to lay an ambush.
@@servermeta4995 dense forests with camo netting, amongst the ruins of a bombed out hive city, sitting in a trench in a hull-down position. Basicallly the ways we hide tanks today but you'd have to amp it out a bit considering it is essentially an apartment on treads.

A Warlord, Reaver or whatever existing titan are used against heretics in openfields (no man’s land) because the Mechanicus has let them in a 2-3 year-taking discussion.

The tau slapped a rail rifle on a bomber and it can kill titans somehow.
The one case when it happened, it was just a warhound titan, but still.
The admech withdrew titans from tau battle lines afterwards.
Yes, it is absolutely retarded, but I guess it's one way of explaining how a titan legion haven't wiped the tau yet, shame it's not something more...creative.
A friendly reminder from adeptus mechanicus: standing under a titan that is about to fire may cause severe burns, deafness, blindness and death.
Because flesh is weak. But we can fix that. new ears, new eyes, maybe a bolter attached to your shoulder, so you can fire another bolter while you fire your bolter for the omnissiah

As the guy who likes to use the heavy gear in any game, be it tanks, walkers, or even heavy armour with a tower shield or a machine gun, this is officially the theme song of my life.
This may be irrevelant, but what i absolutely love about the Imperium songs is that in the majority, there is always two prominent sounds in the background. Bells and organs. It really reflects just how much the Imperium focuses on religion and that belief in the Emperor and Omnissiah keeps them going

To be fair, Chaos Titans are Imperial Titans, just fallen to Chaos. And everything that falls to Chaos gains extra spikes.

I am pretty sure it was only the Orkz that started making Titans, or Gargants as they like to call them, just because humans had them.
The Necrons used flying pyramids, or whatever they came up with.
The Eldar had their own Titans long before humans came into existence.
The Tau, despite loving their walkers, seem to prefer flyers when designing super-heavy warmachines.
And Chaos never had anything of Titan scale, at least in real-space, before the Horus Heresy when Imperial titans joined.
Maybe it could be said that Tyranids "evolved" their Bio-Titans as a response to imperial Titans, but we have no way of knowing if that is true or if they already had the DNA for them before they arrived in our galaxy.
I remember hearing a quote from an Imperial Guardsman that was standing beneath a titan when it fired. She said that just one firing of its guns was enough to temporarily deafen the entire platoon.

Also it might just be a basically perfect copy of a traitor and Necrons don't really like Chaos and Imperium doesn't really like Traitor Primarchs (even if they are uncorrupted) so there is higher probability of Trazyn releasing Creed if the galaxy needs an Imperial Tactical Genius to survive

I think we will still get them because actual humanity is know for making stupid cool things it just wont be an effective weapons platform. @@nickathanas1898 Oh yeah, Titans are extremely difficult to supply even in the lore that is why they are rarely ever even used, and if they are its usually Warhound Scout Titans, and even then during the Taros Campaign when the T'au destroyed a Warhound they pulled back the Legio due to that though it also cause they were promised that the T'au had no weapons that could counter the Legio.

The whole battlefield got endulged in plasmafire, bullets and the crys of pain from the heretics, merely seconds after the titan touched the ground. It dind´t even needed one day to complete, what we had tried to do for over a decade.And so, the heretics were finally purged...
...from this world, at least. We got messaged that the inquisition would arrive, to take and train the survivors to get special anti-chaos-forces. An honor to be sure.

Tau, in fact, prefer fighting titans than swarm types enemies. They have all kind of fighting techniques against single powerful foe, on the opposite the tiranids hit them so hard it.

I read that losing even a single scout titan in battle is a tactical blunder tantamount to heresy and that's pretty cool and speaks to how mighty and valuable they are. And Straub lost an entire squad of titans lol
