- Full Scorpion exhuast system with decat downpipe fitted to the BMW M140i. The sound increase is defiantly noticeable but we also got it on the dyno to check the power gains the exhaust has made!.

When revving the engine I prefer the sound of the stock exhaust 👌🏻 but as car drove off the sports exhaust sounded 🔥

fairly new to cars and just bought an M140i.. my question is how do people get around GPF Delete/Decat/Exhaust systems with MOT'S etc? I want to upgrade my car but worried my lack of knowledge is going to get me in trouble.
I'm the same, worried about emissions, and I can't be arsed to re-fit the cat every year.
A sports cat is a good option, quite expensive but allow a much more free flowing exhaust but still passes the mot.
Nik Gnashers if I could go to stage 2 with a sports cat and have no worries about passing MOT then I’m happy to do that
Decats and ppf deletes are illegal on the road, if you crash your insurance may not pay out as your car technically isent road legal, i bought a pre ppf filter m140i as i had the same concern about the ppf restricting noise with no viable options.
@@carmad1287 Yes I also deliberately bought a 2017 pre-ppf M140i too, but it still has a cat, as all cars have in the past 15 years or so.
