There is also the fact that big platforms like Unreal are securing other companies like Quixel and providing access to a plethora of high quality materials and models. Its more like empowering designers to create more.

Hey I have a question about what you believe would be the right workflow for myself. I've been a designer and 2D motion artist for a decade. Mostly working in After Effects and I've dabbled in Cinema4D and Maya just a few projects in those. I want to commit to expanding my 3D knowledge now but I had bad luck with computers and destroyed 2 $3,000 Computer workstations so I'm currently using a $1100 Dell XPS Laptop. So I'm not sure how much 3D my Dell can handle. I would love to just say forget everything else and just learn unreal engine but it seems like every 3D artist needs to learn at least of of those general 3D applications, and I cannot decide between Blender and Cinema 4D. I'll likely be able to upgrade my PC in 2022 but for the performance and long term path I'm trying to decide which program will be best to run with with the current trend of things. Any thoughts on this Cody? Also I loved this video, earned a new sub!
