An important metric that most review channels are missing is performance on battery life. This is a laptop and should be designed to run on battery, why not show this super important metric? I mean, in this review, it seems this machine smokes an M2 MacBook, but is it true? maybe when it draws power from an outlet, I doubt it takes the lead when running on battery.
Right. Important. But most people don't need the battery, most of the time, I would say. Almost everywhere you go you can charge this. There are only a few people who are really working outdoors or travelling in the wild. And if travels, would be by car and you can get 12V-220V power converters. I am sure i don't care about battery. I was using an older one, and i was happy with 30 minutes.
Thanks for the review. Curious - how do these vivobook series contrast with their zenbook series especially if someone's looking at getting a new personal laptop?
Thanks for a good overview of this laptop. One thing I will add, for those using their laptop while lying down, the vents between the screen and body are great as they don't get blocked when the laptop is sitting on your clothes, a blanket etc.
did you notice some battery drain while laptop its off? idk if its my unit or its something with windows 11, because i found a lot of people with the same problem but different laptops
Kann man mit diesen Laptop gut mit einem Stift benutzen? Ich will ihn für die schule benutzen und muss dafür viel von hand auf dem Laptop schreiben. Bei meinem alten laptop hat der Stift immer gezittert.
Has anyone tried to know the required to render a 10-Min 4k Video by a shared intel Graphics iris x GPU i7 13th Gen 16 Ram 512 Pcle hard laptop? Vs the time of a laptop with same specs but with dedicated 2-4 dedicated GPU? Is shared GPU Upgradable? How about thermal efficiency؟ Any better recommendations to render a 4k ten Min. Video in 15-20 Minutes? Can my asus be used in sharing & mirroring with old iphones?
Hi there! I'm currently looking into that exact laptop. I'm primarily buying it for university, would you recommend it? I also wanted to run some light games such as Minecraft, do you think I'll be able too?
@@Christina_Yang1217 from other reviewers and benchmarks, the laptop can't reach full frequency and can't sustains the full cpu performance more than few seconds, it is thin laptop for such powerfull cpu and it is cooling solution is not sufficient. so I guess i9 is just wast
hmm. I feel like you underestimate the design of the laptop quite a lot :D I mean that screams a competition with thinkpads with those orange accent parts and "industrial" design choices. I think they had quite a lot of thought in it although it's probably more visual candy for certain types of men than actual benefits in practice.
At 50 days out-of-warranty. Laptop battery quit charging, happily while the battery was charged. The charged battery gave me some time to yet figure out what happened. First thing I noted is that unplugging the charging adapter caused Windows 11 to pop-up a message saying the charging adapter had become unplugged; repeatable. So I tried using Device_Manager to uninstall the drivers for the battery and charging adapter, then restarting the laptop and entering BIOS mode to reset all settings,,,,,, that only eliminated my ability to get Windows 11 to pop-up a message saying the charging adapter had become unplugged when I unplugged the charging adapter; the uninstalled drivers did reinstall. Next, I turned off the laptop an held the power button for > 40 sec to reset the laptop,,,,,,, didn't help. Presently I yet have 30% charge remaining. Very messed up.
it's so weird when you all talk about the disgust that comes preinstalled on your laptops - "it has this app that terrorises you, will you buy me, are you sure" and so on, from the perspective of someone who never even turns Windows on anymore, I wouldn't even waste 15 minutes for testing before plug my Linux into it
Haven't yet reinstalled Windows 11. Intel's driver update works fine, have the latest Intel Bluetooth and Video drivers. The screen often blanks out, then returns. Connecting my bluetooth headset almost always fails and subsequently causes the laptop to restart.
Card readers are not necessary, I keep saying this, but most people, 99.9% of the users are not "content creators" and as such do not need to transfer large files between an SD card and their laptop. Not to mention it's just an extra entry point of breach and therefore a security risk for what was supposed to be a secure business laptop. Most businesses image their corporate laptops and most of these security software do not even allow connecting external storage by default. Having a micro SD card is also dumb, since this can be removed quite easily, either by accident, or stolen. Most of these would have been used for extra storage. So from now on, please follow up by also saying "...though most people might not require this as they are not RUclipsrs like us!" Carry a card reader, if you are going to carry a large camera with extra batteries and extra lenses, tripods etc. At this point your complaint is more than rendered void!

@@Abcd12738thanks I was planning to buy i7...but some said there is flickering issue with i7 in Amazon. I going to buy 14 x 13 th gen. Should I go for it?
snagged it for 599 at Costco. Gorgeous screen at 120HZ and a gaming CPU in a non-gaming laptop. Simply the best bangs for your bucks!
do you face any lag in the audio while using it with Bluetooth headphones?
I can't find it. What is the Product # for costco?
OLED, we like OLED
But it's not super Bright like the SUPER AMOLED DISPLAY 😊
and it's not super color accurate

Such a nice video. Well wishes for you.
Is it good for graphic design ?? And motion graphics??
I don't know about motion graphics but if you do graphics design it does really well. No complaints here
5:20 state of that screen
I literally just bought this yesterday at costco lol
Bhai,I recently bought

Mine 2 %
It's acceptable
"So very cringe" made my day. Thanks for the great review.
i just bought it in white...this is quite a strange colour😂
Is it good for programming and viewing multimedia content? I read that I had temperature problems
He said it was perfect for multimedia content but not ideal for gaming
That's why u get the i5 with this it's more than fast enough and doesn't heat as much I hope at least

Yes
I got the 2022 model couple months ago from Costco, and it’s i7 12700h. Didn’t see this one until now. Wow, i9 13900h?
hey, what do you think about 2022 model, how is the battery and trackpad ?

Why not good for gaming the stats should allow you to play games on decent settings ??? Right??
no
It will work for games like valorant but don't expect it to run rdr2 smoothly

OLED should be going mainstream in all laptops...just like most mid-range phones nowadays.
Asus Vivobook S14 OLED the best laptops for work... probably!
Yes. Oled with some darker backgrounds should work great, not putting pressure on the eyes.
What do you think about S15 OLED?
@@arunk2710 bigger and better i would say?
I find Acer Swift 3 OLED (SF314-71) with H processor and same ram and aluminium case a better option 1080p webcam.

How good is it at heavy video editing?
Did you face any lag in the audio while using it with Bluetooth headphones?
which SKU is this?
The fan sound is too hard and the processor temperature reaches 90. is this normal ?
mine too
The S14 is more expensive than the s15 even though both have the same specifications.
Smaller laptops always cost more. Portability it’s extremely pricy
S14 also is now coming with Nvidia RTX 3050. Hence, it justifies the price.
