One of the very few bands who are as interesting and articulate in interview as they are on record. Yet another wonderful album in yet another decade of creativity. When so many great artists were producing ever diminishing returns, or forever chasing recreations of earlier glories to the point of self-parody, or, worst still, becoming their own aging tribute act, suede continue to create essential vital albums. It's entirely arguable that their discography since their return is finer than what they did in their commercial peak. Long may it last!

I lost track of Suede in the early 2000s and have rediscovered them since Covid. Could not believe how good Night Thoughts and The Blue Hour were and am seeing them in Leeds next month. Haven't been so excited for a gig for 30 years!
