I’m an Australian and I lived and worked in London 1998-2002. Brett was a customer of mine. I was a florist working in Planet Organic on Westbourne Grove. He always bought flowers off me. He’s so charismatic and gorgeous. I was rather smitten with him
Seeing Brett, after this too long, dark period of absence, not doing and not performing, has been a breath of fresh air for me! So thrilling! I love Brett sooooooooo much! ❤️
I agree. My favorite band of the 90s by a mile. I felt they never quite got their due. Yes they were huge at times, but so many other bands with far fewer and less impressive songs got way more credit.
Intelligent and beautiful. I wish I could see a Suede concert once in my life! Have been listening for so long… But, unfortunately, I lost the opportunity to attend their concert here in Brazil! :(
☺️ It's hard to believe its been a quarter of a century since I first saw the video of "Trash" when it first came out and immediately liked it setting off a love for the album which would be one of the soundtracks to my childhood. Really moving and a fond reminder of a much better and more exciting time.
Amazing wasn't it. I went to the Manchester gig and immediately bought tickets (gig and plane!) to Barcelona. I felt that I would regret it if I didn't get another chance to enjoy that tour. Absolutely incredible ❤
@@mattiemclean9882 haha but I guess he wouldn’t have done so much to keep fit, he just naturally looks good at any age? Saw him a few years ago, he’s hot as a middle age man.

@@dominicaaaaa5547 You’re probably right, sir but I think it was definitely the last album by a band that totally caught me by surprise. I wasn’t expecting anything like it from Suede at the time and it set the bar very high. Even Radiohead would struggle to be as original yet still beautifully melodic. I hope that one day the album will get the recognition it deserves.

There's a lonely comet in the sky tonight it's crashing all around us, and the embers will keep on burning, out of sight. Thirty six years I kept momentum through the Kuiper belt and crashed to earth, that night. Ha’Penny Bridge, in the middle of nowhere, I never got to watch the stream. I was flowing, so freely, but I was lost in this sorrid dream. As my daughters danced around me, opening presents, they were wishing for a gift. Brett looking great. Hope White boy on a stage is on new album. That's a belting track. They're really hitting a creative peak last few years. Loved The Blue Hour. @@donovanpain83 I hadn't been for a couple of years until the Blue Hour tour and special Brand Aid concert. If anything, I think they've got better live. They understand the audience more and there's a great symbiosis.

I completely understand what you mean, but I also agree with Brett about the tone of the album. Whilst DMS has some tracks that will forever be the highlight of a Suede gig, there are a good few that have an 'album filler' feel to them- and I say this with nothing but love for that album. But they don't translate to live music as well as non- single tracks from Coming Up (are there even any, that album produced what feels like 17 singles 😂😂). Nevertheless, like I said, whenever I see Suede live the songs I look most forward to are stuff like The Wild Ones, We Are The Pigs and New Generation, whenever they treat the audience to it. But I agree that the DMS album as a whole has a 'smoking weed in a council flat in a high rise block in the early 90's' vibe, rather than the euphoric 'let's dance our t**s off to some tuuuunes' vibe you want at a live show. My opinion, don't shoot me!
