    Great job Kevin, putting a good bend in that rod. Might want to get a better reel for those salmon. I started using Lampson after a reel froze up while fighting a salmon. Never looked back, smooth as silk.

      Thanks, Rick!! Those fish teach you to just hold on and hold tight, haha!! When the channel grows a bit more, I'll definitely be investing in better equipment!! 🙂✌️🎣

    I want to know the stats in your videos, like total time spent fishing, how many fish caught and largest fish of the day to sum up your videos. Or do fisherman not like to advertise those stats

    • @KevinRapkochFishing
      @KevinRapkochFishing  Год назад +5

      Hey man, that's a great idea! I never really worry about what other fisherpeople do or say is "the way"! It's time to add some stats to the end of vids!! 🙂✌️🎣

    Nice man, are you flossing or will the sockeye take a bite at the fly?

    • @KevinRapkochFishing
      @KevinRapkochFishing  Год назад +3

      I've seen them turn and bite flies on numerous occasions! I just fish the flies traditionally (like swinging streamers), and do pretty well 🙂✌️🎣

    • @nicknap7674
      @nicknap7674 Год назад

      Looks like you’re flossing bro. And when do you see a sockeye turn on fly in the Kenai bro you can’t even see the fish lmao.

    • @KevinRapkochFishing
      @KevinRapkochFishing  Год назад +2

      @@nicknap7674 in the Russian I had 4 turns in 6 catches in June; but hey man, sounds like you already have your mind made up. Peace 🙂✌️🎣

    • @nancyhibbert73
      @nancyhibbert73 Год назад +2

      @@nicknap7674looked like pretty straight forward fly fishing to me… definitely nowhere close to the flossing you see other people doing out there. I’ve also seen plenty of sockeye strike flies and lures.

    • @nicknap7674
      @nicknap7674 Год назад

      How the heck is this traditional fly fishing this is 100 percent flossing with with a fly rod lol
