I Love this movie of the real Tarzana I have rember back in my days 1957or 58th I was about maybe 5 or 6 years old me and two others little brothers Wow.Yes we did look at Tarzan every Saturday morning and we enjoyed our self no we are older now so I just want to say thank you very much for having these memories of Tarzan movies for me and others people around the world thank you.
I was very sick! Double pneumonia and an emergency appendectomy. The day I opened my eyes I was greeted by my hero Johnny Weissmuller. It gave me one one of the happiest moments of my life. RIP Mr. Weissmuller. I hope to see you in heaven. Baptist hospital Orange Texas 1965-66 Or thereabouts.
As a kid I watched him on Saturday morning matinee along with the Three Stooges, Jungle Jim, Bomba, and so many other great black and white TV shows. Those were the wonder years, not the crap kids are subjected to today.
Weissmuller was also a professional high diver as well as a former five star Olympic swimming champion. Actually, I have heard of at least one witness (it was a man's uncle) who was present on the bridge, and had seen Weissmuller perform that dive off the Brooklyn Bridge.
