It's crazy how we have to "figure out our lives" at 18
So wild!! It’s not fair
Without being taught the basics of life throughout our school years… crazy
@@iituyi That's facts. I'm in my senior year of high school right now and I feel like the wave of adulthood just crashed over me after swimming in the kiddie pool my whole life. The education system never gave me the proper life jacket and boat to make the process a little more gradual.
Same. I wasn't even taught how to even be an adult
I dislike people assuming college is the right way to go after high school and if you don’t you automatically will be a loser. Please don’t think college is the answer of anything it’s worse cause you’ll only be in debt
Or u will fail school..
Dans FRS I agree with you man! Everyoke that I know is going to college and I'm a senior right now and I'm graduating literally in like 4 months. And I haven't applied to any colleges yet because I'm not sure if I am gonna go or not. So yeah.
Alfonso Romano same, I decided I’m not going to college but heading in the Air Force and investing, maybe forex trading
I kinda have to go to college for my dream lmao but I'm well aware college isn't for anyone. Not all jobs require a college deplima but have a plan if college isn't the way for you
You are so right!
Im graduating high school and im so terrified to be thrown into the real world. I see all these older people around who around have their lives set in stone for the rest of their time, but i literally so scared cause i dont even know what i want to do in life. Like i've never had a job and everything I owned came from a set supplier already (my parents ;p) so i didnt really need to worry about where i would sleep or where i would eat. But since im going off to college next year im going to have to get all those things by myself and i so scared and terrified of that thought. Man i really dont want to graduate but shit i guess I have no choice.
Be aware of the student loans and debt!! After college !!
How you doin 4 months later
Hey Max! how are things in your world now? is the "real world" everything you thought it would be?

This is a very inspirational video. I am preparing for my high school graduation next May (2023), and I am currently in the process of looking at colleges to attend and have started the application. I still continue to question, however, if college is the best fit for me at the moment. The thought of living on my own, away from my parents stresses me out so much. I am liking having a single bedroom, and a home where I know the people very well. Even though I have traveled away from it for short periods of time (by myself), the thought of going to live in a dorm with other people seems daunting. This video helped me realize that there is a lot I can do with my life after high school. I can work as an entrepreneur, I can go volunteer, take a gap year to travel, help my family, or work + so much more. As stressful as it may seem, there is a world in front of me that is bigger than I realize and you helped make that seem more true to me. Thank you! Keep making videos like this, it really helps me, along with other people find their path.
Thanks. I really needed this. I have no idea where to even start after high school, but I do know that I want to be successful.
Word!
Hey Nacy! I'm curios to know how things are going in your life now?
Thanks for the video. High school teachers didn't teach any financial literacy, and we just graduated yesterday. I've been visiting several videos akin to this, in order to alleviate my post-graduation anxiety. There's a mantra I always say though "If people have been through it, I can push through as well." which helps my worries. I guess it's just a matter of experience and your life going up and down as you write the script of your story. 🙃
I’m going to be honest with you I looked up how to do life after high school and I found your video I’m thankful someone else other then myself in my head feels lost after high school is over I’m currently in a corner I put myself in because I didn’t know how to tell my parents I didn’t know where to start to this adulting thing anyway today has been a rough day but I know better ones are ahead! Keep doing what your doing thanks big bro! Class of 2019
Literally same. I had a rough day yesterday because this was stressing me out. Idk what to do

@@vexz0r789 you would be glad to know I dropped out in December of 2020 due to covid and losing my dad in April☹️ but honestly the past 3 years have been a whole new world for the better! When I lost my dad I released I was doing things to please others not myself. I married my high school sweetheart in November of 2020 and doing fantastic. I moved out of my parents house January 2021 and it was HARD I lost the relationship with my mom and part of my self for a while but I’m finally healing my physical and mental health now! Losing my dad at the age of 20 was probably one of the hardest things I have had to go through so far in life but A small part of me is glad he passed because if I didn’t go through that I wouldn’t be the me I am today. I hope you are staying healthy and trusting the process

Class of 2019 baby!!
Thank you! Great Video
You can start by writing your goals and ideas that you have in mind. So when you have failed on something, you can either do it again or do something in that idea or goals that you may have. Never start anything with less knowledge about it. Make a goal, a plan, an idea. Then pursue them with so much commitment and dedication. Educate yourself with the things that the school never taught you.
Class of 2019! One of my friends is going to college and the other is goin into the military. My graduation is in about a month and recently I’ve been feeling very down because I have no idea what I want to do, or what I should do. This video was helpful, and kind of showed me its okay to not know what I wanna do, as long as I work towards something in the end. ❤️

School is stupid. They dont even teach you how to get jobs or pay taxes.
But teach you stupid ting that you probably arent gonna use and forget.
Hey! I hope everything went okay, update? I am graduating this year.
Hope things have been going good for you
You got to do something that's for sure. There are a lot of ways to make money now a days but it's hard. Buck up!
Two words... Thank You
Class of 2021!
What you spoke hit hard man . Thank you for making me realize that i am entering the “real world” and i need to think and understand this world
My parents want me to go to college, but I don't want to even thought it's all gonna be paid for. I've hated school my entire life, my whole senior year I maybe did 5% of the homework that was given to me. I feel so forced to go to college even though I don't want to go at all
hey, how’s it been?
Hey Martin! Sorry to hear this. Sorry I’m just replying! What did you end up doing? I’m very curious!
I will say this, as someone who did not go to college. I do feel like I missed out on the college experience, with friends and freedom etc.
@@morganmanesh5142 It's been alright, told my parents I'd rather take a year off because school has no in person learning right now. Knowing I'm not going back to college, I found my passion and have been focusing on that. My parents have realized that I'm not going back to college, and have started to get on my ass about not seeing results just yet (Both of them are European) but I know it'll pay off just gotta keep my head down and work
@@Evan_is_Reel Hey Evan, all good no worries. I did 2 days of online college and then dropped it. I asked my parents to take a year off and they agreed. Knowing I have no desire to go to college I started focusing on find my passion (which is music and film). I started working on movie sets in December of 2020, and applied for a second job last week as well. I started filming music videos and started a small media company.
Although I'm not going to college I don't really feel bad about missing out since everything is online for the most part right now. Not sure if I'll still go as I very much dislike the education system and don't think I'd ever be able to pass a class again. Life is entirely different from school and I would much rather work hard and do whatever the fuck I want, than study, listen to a teacher, and do homework I don't wanna be do.
How's life been for you man?
@@martingregor6718 shit man I’m in the same shoes you were in a year ago. I don’t know what I’m going to do after this year which is my senior year. I don’t wanna go to college because I don’t know what my passion or goal is. Man how did you do it? How did you find your passion and life purpose? I feel so clueless right now. And it sucks my I tried talking to friends about this and they said we’ll worry about it when the time comes
Your the best thank you really you helped me❤️
So glad! What are you feeling you would like to do?
thank you for this
About to graduate this Sunday! Class of 2019!
Thanks dude
My sister graduated not to long ago and that reminded me that im next i have 1 year left and i started to panic because im not ready for it yet so I looked for advice but what I’ve picked up is that nobody is ever really ready its just something you have to do even if its hard at first and for anyone else thats been overthinking it just like me the only thing i can say is good luck.
And also its not graduating that you’re afraid of its growing up, graduating is the just the end of school but the start of a new chapter in your life im 16 so i wouldn’t no of course but I’ve heard its hard for everyone to move forward at first
And if you didnt make it to your dream school because of the grades you got just think of it as an opportunity to better yourself look around you there are plenty of people that made it in life without college the key is to have faith in your spirit or you are going stay at your lowest even if your confused about where you are heading in life theres always time to plan a way to elevate before you hit rock bottom just know that you dont have to be a scholar to have everything figured out. Ik it might sound like bs but if it ever gets that tough just remember what i said.
Class of 2020 💃
Congrats! what are you doing now?
Where you been bro? Keep grinding RUclips you'll make it
Thank you! Trying to pick back up
Watching this cause I’m graduating tomorrow and nervous thx you help I didn’t know what to do after High school 😅
I really want to do an updated version on this video. I’m now 27 years old. Loving life! There is so much opportunity! You can go and do whatever you want and create your own business or own opportunity! The possibility is endless! What would you like to do???
Also, congratulations on graduating!!
Class of 2020
Follow your heart and your dreams or you'll be stuck in a job you hate. Follow what you like to do in your spare time. Do you like to write (creative writing, interviewing people and writing about the stories) be a writer / journalist. Do you like to work with your hands? Construction, building machines. Just follow your what you like to do. Doing this will make you happy and give you life where you wake up or look forward to tomorrow. You may not get rich money wise but you'll be happy, prosperous and have adventures beyond your wildest dreams. You can never put a price on being happy. P.S. happy people are healthy people. Most corporate rich are two hours from another panic attack or heart attack. Do what excites you the most. Don't be sixty and wish you had followed your passion and not listen to people who just want you to get a job, pay bills, pay taxes blah blah.
Good video 💯
