    Thanks for this! I'm so envious. I would definitely ike to see you mill some larger logs. My buddy and I have been looking at either the 126 or 130. Can't determine whether or not the price diff is worth it...

    I just got back from Holland, One of the windmills is a full functioning saw mill. NOTE: if you really want to use these trees for lumber, It must be soaked in water for 1-4 years, depending on how hard it is.. Pine is one year, oak is 4.. But still your machine looks cool! Do a search for sawmill windmill, it crazy cool!!!

    Thinking of getting 1 myself. What are your likes and dislikes of the model?

    • @SimonSaysDIY
      @SimonSaysDIY  Год назад +1

      I don’t have any dislikes so far other than it is not made to store outdoors. They do sell a cover for the mill and I would recommend getting one if you will be leaving outdoors. It is really good quality and have had zero issues so far. I love the trailer. It’s really handy for mobile use.

    Can you get more rails and attach them so you're able to mill longer logs?

    • @SimonSaysDIY
      @SimonSaysDIY  Год назад +2

      Yes they have a kit that extends the length considerably.

    Would you recommend the HM126 .

    • @SimonSaysDIY
      @SimonSaysDIY  Год назад +1

      Yes 👍🏻 I have maxed out the size so a bigger one wouldn’t hurt but at the same time I have no way to get larger logs up onto the mill so it works out.

    You really shouldn’t work under a extended bucket when you built the saw head - hydraulics can fail causing bucket arms to crash and crush you
