    Why do you put the bolts from the inside have the nuts and washers on the outside...would it not look better and more finished if the bolts heads were on the outside? If the instructions did not specifically state the bolts went in that way I would always put the bolt heads out...it would look much more finshed that way.

    I saw where the vent/level tube that points up on the the water tank will collect sawdust and clog the feed line on other videos. They used a longer one and angled it down to avoid that or covered it with some kind of breathable filter. They also added a hex to use a torque wrench when installing a new blade to the correct torque specs.

    • @AskDaddyjoe
      @AskDaddyjoe  2 года назад

      Good evening and Thanks for the pointer's I will check the vent tube, and this already has a 1/2-inch drive opening on the tension handle for the torque wrench. So far, the mill has been working well. Thanks for Watching.

    When did you go through and tighten all the bolts down? I am assembling a hm126 as well and all the instructions state is to not tighten full after each step. Plus great instructional video!

    • @AskDaddyjoe
      @AskDaddyjoe  2 года назад

      Good evening, you will tighten all of the bolts on the track after you level and square and then you will tighten the bolts on the mill after ambled and the mill is set on the tracks. I hope this helps and I think you will enjoy this saw I think it does a great job. Thanks for Watching.

    Hopefully, I will be making my purchase of a HM126 soon. Ive watched a couple assembly videos now, everyone assembles it off of the track system. Is there a reason for that other than the movement on the track? I will be assembling mine far from a hard concrete surface and wondered if I will need to lay a sheet of plywood down.

    • @AskDaddyjoe
      @AskDaddyjoe  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hello, good luck with your new saw. The reason it is assembled on the floor is because you can turn it over for various parts installation, keeping everything a little loose until placing on the track then tightening so that it squares itself. The manual does explain this thoroughly. Enjoy your saw. Thanks for Watching

    • @AskDaddyjoe

      Hello, I lifted the head assembly onto my flatbed trailer and then separated the track sections and hauled everything to the current location of the mill. The saw head is heavy and awkward and the toughest part of the build. Have fun with your project and Thanks for Watching

    How are you enjoying your mill? I'm ordering the 126 I was stuck on the 130 then my one brain cell kicked in and made me wonder how in the world I would ever turn a log that large? Plus nearly a couple thousand dollars difference in price. I hope I dont regret getting a smaller mill but I think my body and back wont mind my decision. Happy milling.

    I wish something would go wrong on these builds. How the heck did you get those washers to line up so easy on the throttle? That thing has me baffled. The instructions don't help, nor did this vid. (good vid though)
