    There's not a lot of information out there on how the day actually runs - hopefully this video helps and gives some insight into how I personally felt as well!

    Hi Darren. hanks ofr the awesome uploads on UCAT. On that note, how familiar with the QR calculator, (considering you did well in the section), like for example, were you able to type without looking? Thanks.

      Hello! Yes I ‘could’ but I would look at both the number pad briefly and also the calculator after I typed the number in to check if it was right. This step is So important to avoid mistakes - no need to rush. Releasing a video on QR later today!

    Hi Darren. Awesome video.
    My UCAT is on monday, 12th July. For most sections, like verbal reasoning and quantitative reasoning, the time limit is very short (e.g. equates to 28 secs per question on VR). For me I have done various mocks and questions and just can’t do all VR or QR Questions. I want to ask whether this is possible (doing all questions) or should I just do as many as I can? Did you manage to do all of them within the time frame?

      Which company do you use? I will be making videos on all these but for VR: yes it’s highly unlikely that you have enough time to find a satisfactory answer for all the questions, so skip around and pick the most time-efficient ones while guessing the others. For QR my actual exam was pretty straightforward but I know some company ones have lots of graphs and info. In those cases if you can see a mathematical path to the answer then do it, if you can’t figure out what the question is asking then skip.

      Hopefully the amount of questions you don’t have time for isn’t too concerning. Me personally, I had time to attempt all the vr questions but there’d be ones I couldn’t do or I would get wrong. With quantitative medentry I had to skip so much and with medify I would guess/skip a couple.

    Hey Darren, with the whiteboard, is it a good idea to get one for UCAT practices at home? So for the actual UCAT, the student has to constantly be erasing the whiteboard? Thank you in advance :)

      @DarrenTan21  Год назад +1

      Hi Dandelion! Yeah, I think having a whiteboard will be good practice. In my actual ucat, they gave me a new whiteboard each time I filled one up. At other places you have to erase it yourself - it’s a bit variable

      @@DarrenTan21 Thank you Darren! :) I am guessing using paper and pen could be better off then. Since it could be variable at different centres, yeah? I remember you saying the centre you went to was really quiet so maybe the staff could attend to you quite well. :)
