I'm impressed at her splendid acting .

even today, we have (typically) white people hired as background dancers. that one song from jailer (vaa nukaavaaleya?) literally has only white women behind tamannah. it's because indians are unfortunately obsessed with the exotic factor and it's creepy. with a population of 1.4B, i would have expected better.

One colleague in my office who lived in Bengal now work in Delhi told us about bipasha that they r 3 sisters and he was her neighbour n she was brilliant in her academics she cleared neet and everybody got shocked when she joined got into modelling as she was extremely reserve by nature at that point and was a nerd.

She was the only one who was so naturally sexy without being vulgar...be it songs like lucky boy, bipasha,beedi,ho hayi tunn or jism songs. Today's girls don't have half the sex appeal bips had. My most favourite character of her's will be Radhika from bachna ae haseeno because she was the only one who made Ranbir's character suffer and pay for what he did to her and later grovel at her feet for forgiveness. 100% agreed that every women has right to decide when she wants to have a child or if she even wants to have one. Also as you said, one cannot be fully sure if she will be able to conceive in her late 30s or early 40s. Medically it is highly suggested to have a child in late 20s or early 30s, as your body is at peak time of fertility & is fully prepared to conceive & provide all necessary nutrition to baby n mother. Risk is very less, chances of normal pregnancy & delivery are more (80-90%). But in late pregnancy, risk is more, chance of some sort problems to arise are more, not just fatal but other complications may also occur, which can be very dangerous for baby as well as mother. Also people only talk about how a women gave birth to a baby in her 40s but never try to know what she has to go through during that pregnancy, if there was any complication. They on scratch the surface but never even try to see what's beneath.
Fertility is a very charged yet sensitive topic. Yes medically there is a so called best age to have children but we need to understand that choosing to have kids is more than about the age of the pregnant woman/person. People want to be financially sound before having children or find the right partner. Sometimes these things can take their time. And more often, women are unfairly targeted for either having children too late or too soon. For late pregnancy, even some doctors are unsympathetic towards women and all kinds of stats are thrown at their faces. Conveniently leaving the fact that pregnancy risks with older male partners are just as bleak. Pregnancy with a male partner older than 35 comes with risks of placental defects and miscarriages. Here in US, almost 40-50% cases of second pregnancy related issues are attributed to male infertility. But only women and their bodies are the part of any fertility conversation, also shamed. Plus there are several young couples who face fertility issues.
It is high time that our discussions around fertility and related topics become more open, nuanced, less targeting and shame inducing.

I agree with you..So I am a Doctor just completed my fellowship yes not that much experienced but had planned to resign from a renowed hospital because I felt it was taking a toll on my mental health..so a fellow senior of mine who is also a woman told me after she got to know about it (might have thought I am doing so to conceive a child, which is again my decision) "oh so you also dont get pregnant like Alia did in the height of her career". My senior calls herself strong independent Woman!!
It is okay. You do what is best for you. No matter how the other person perceives themselves, everyone has a smidge of some preconceived notions. You must have your own too. Even this creator has it. As women, we are in constant spiral of choosing to be a parent or being a career person and the fact of age is thrown at our faces at all times. You also mentioned your mental health, which I can understand because we have doctors in our family ourselves, it can indeed become toxic and too much to take.
Do what is best for you. Let others do their stuff.

Very good point you have brought in this video, that is ignoring the age for pregnancy just in case of feminism . Actresses like bipasha and kareena they are very fit till now also but most of the women in thirty's or fourty's don't take care of themselves like these actresses do. So if you are a female and consider yourself as a parent in future , Please don't ignore your age . There are many more complications like hypertension , diabetes, under developed baby , genetical issues to baby can also occur.
I recently gave birth (29 yr) and it has broken my body, I had so much medical issues and even now after 6 months I have difficulty in back etc...

People have different tolerances and body compositions but there is nothing wrong in someone choosing to delay motherhood. I am at better equipped to give my children a better lifestyle now than when I was in my 20s. I didn’t ever want to rely on a man providing for me and my children. If I’d had my children in my 20s I’d have forever been dependent because my career wouldn’t stalled. Now I’m successful and can provide a comfortable life for my family.

In the industry I work in and among my friends who are successful in their fields no one has had children in their 20s. You are young in your 20s quite frankly and I don’t think people should rush into having babies. India would actually benefit from women prioritising their careers and having fewer children.
