Insulation should help with energy savings. With those wires coming through that wall box, thats gotta be feeding something on the other side of the wall. Ive seen too many disasters in wiring. I pulled hundreds of feet of extension cord from a customers back porch that she wanted re-wired. I kid you not, I had a pile about three feet wide, four foot tall of extension cord and mis matched romex pulled out of the walls and form under the flooring......

The wire is feeding an outlet by the garage door. I’m lucky the wiring isn’t one of my major issues in this house. I wish I could say that about the plumbing. I do have some issues with wiring. Possible loose connections, I notice ceiling lights blink when plugging things in. Amazing some of the jacked in work out there and not more electrical fires

@@billstools5244 Loose connections are one of the main causes of electrical fires. I had blinking lights in my bedroom for a bit and found loose connections in the ceiling of the closet where a light was intended to be installed. I was finishing up a sub panel install for a friend and when I plugged the shop vac into the inside outet and tried to turn it on, the vac wouldnt run, but the lights in the stairwell would light up!

I see it often burnt compressor wires from a bad connector. I am slowly checking all the electrical connections. I’m just drowning over here trying to get most the painting done before Saturday. That’s my move date. So many curve balls popped up preventing me fro painting
