I've had that happen when I was viewing streams and video from an old laptop. There were missing frames and the audio was scuffed. Hopefully just restarting your PC helps!

100% ugly haha. But back when Twitch was starting to boom, it was everyones camera. Back then, no one thought about other cameras outside of webcams for streaming.
I bought the Razer Kyio Pro on offer from Amazon (more than half price) and never got to use it. As soon as I plugged it in, it told me new firmware available and I thought ok, let's update. Big mistake. Brocked the camera. I am not alone. Internet is full of people with the same issue. Razer were fully aware of this issue long before I purchased and yet did not resolve it or warn customers not to upgrade firmware. Will not use Razer again.
That sucks to hear man... 😟 Products that fail just because you upgraded to a new firmware suck. I had the same thing happen with a wireless video system that cost $2,000. I went to upgrade it to the latest firmware and it bricked it too. Had to send it in and pay $150 for them to fix their problem...
I have the Logitech C920e and the Brio. My opinion is they both look bad on my PC. I can't get them to come out nice every time I try. They both look grainy. I was hoping the Brio would be better but it's not really. You have to really play with the settings and use light to get it not as grainy. Sometimes there is a glitch on screen or it won't match up with my audio. Not worth the money in my opinion. I'm thinking of saving for a dslr camera and just use that for my channel. I just can't win with these webcams.
I 100% understand. I used a c930e for a long time. You just need a lot of light in your space to get rid of the grain as webcams have bad low light. The brio and other webcams would actually look great in a super bright environment.

I have been watching your videos and I am on a tight budget and I need help deciding on what used camera to buy this will be for making talking head videos for RUclips so far my thoughts have been SOny A5100, Sony A5000, Canon EOS M100 or Sony NEX-5R can you give me some advice and appreciate your time.
Start with pricing those cams out. Then consider resolution as all these cams can do up to 1080p. Something like a canon M50 does 4k video for about the same price.
I'm not 100% sure. I can definitely test the a6000 if youd like. However, while streaming, you don't need to record on the camera which means the limit doesn't matter for getting hot or anything. I leave my a6000 and a7s on 24/7 and they're both still actively running and seen in OBS when I launch the program.

My apologies. I think the a7iii will be a good choice as finding lenses will be easy. However, wide angle lenses with apertures that'll give you that blurred background might be a little more pricey. With that said, the combo of a6100 and sigma 16mm lens is what I usually reccomend to most. It gives everything the typical youtuber/streamer likes.

Yes, I think a separate mic is best. This was more of a "in case you buy this cam, here's it's flaw outside of just streaming with it" 😅

I HATED it back in the day. So irritating to redo the settings every time I loaded up OBS.
The c920 can get a better quality when downloading the Logitech Capture software, I see a clear difference. I still want to upgrade though.

Maybe a stupid question but aint the 30 minute limite for the Sony alpha may cause some problem?
