I tested with an iPhone 11 Pro. Steam Link and PS Remote Play was tested over LOCAL Wi-Fi and NOT internet. Xcloud was tested over internet.
I reviewed the Backbone One for iOS and test Steamlink, PS Remote Play, and Xcloud.

just bought my kishi v2 yesterday & im lovin it. ive logged like 10 hours in one sitting on GTA:SA Mobile 🤣😭

Thank you! SO happy you enjoyed it and it means so much to me for you to say that. I was playing it via a local stream via PC to my phone through Steam link. It was not a local game on the phone itself.
So you can’t down load and play the games on your phone? You have to be near your pc or ps5
I have a steam account with games downloaded but on my new macbook its very slow to play and load /: will i be able to play if i get a backbone bc i have steam?
I watched videos showing how you can bassialy play anywhere your console just has to be on sleep mode and connected to ethernet. \
Does remote play work if the games you have are disc?
Or can you only play the games games that you own digitally in my situation being away from the console.

@@pistolpete_nap A ps5 controller it's a good idea! I Will mostly play at home or my girlfriend house. I think it's less than half of the price. I Just have Xbox 360 controllers for my Pc, people in Brazil lives with old gadget lol.
Are you only facing that split second latency on Xcloud or are you seeing it generally on the backbone for other platforms as well? I mostly intend on playing indie games like Skul, Bloodstained, etc
I’ve only really tested xcloud in iOS and almost every game I played had that split second latency. I have yet to test on my hard wired PC. I would imagine games like Bloodstained would not be a great experience using this method. Good news is xcloud/game pass is super cheap to try out.

I can't recall if the current backbone is compatible but my experience in general with previous iPhones and Backbone have been great streaming Steam to PC LOCALLY.
i think its great if u have good internet connection just wish they had dead or alive fighting game and things are difficult for me since i got no job and cant buy a xbox one my got stolen but still have my account

Yes. I stream my games from my gaming computer via steamlink.
Does my PS4 have to be on in order for me to game?
I’m getting this BECAUSE my ps4 doesn’t work anymore.
For what I showcased in the video, you do need a working PS4/PS5 because it streams the game to your phone.
Man I have it too after refunded the stupid Kishi v2 I had the first backbone design but I have the PlayStation version and man much cleaner
The playstation one does look clean! I compared the Kishi in another video and felt the Backbone was better due to comfort reason. The elongated sides really make comfort better with the Backbone. Thanks for watching!

The joysticks seem to have some latency issues. Are they the same feel as the Nintendo switch joysticks?
Zero latency issues from what I experienced but yes the analog sticks are very similar to joycons

you do, same concept as playstation connect
I think you should give XCloud another shot. They have made significant updates to it lately. Coupled with the backbone it is an experience that could potentially take the place of buying an Xbox altogether.
Thanks for watching! Now that I have fiber, it is AMAZING... I still worry about others who deal with data caps and slower internet though. I have also moved so my distance to the servers might have also changed. So many variables I think that it's hard to give xcloud an accurate experience. I would like to do an xcloud specific video.

Such a great controller which also has a great massive flaw : It doesn’t fit with the iPhone 13 range and also doesn’t work with phones in cases. Two massive deal breakers right there…..💩💩👎🏼
They fit my iPhone 13 pro max with the adapter with no issues whatsoever. Never had a problem
