Love the understanding and respect of the Chiefs. As a Chiefs fan I had the Ravens winning both sides of the ball, but Mahomes and the Chiefs team were impressive as they always are in the playoffs!

Of course Marshall would say a RB should be MVP. However, when the Ravens played the 9ers, Lamar was the best player on the field.
Not really the defense got him 5 turnovers. 1st and 10 at the niners 30th. Lamar does not have the stats to be MVP period. Imagine the niners gave purdy 5 turnovers. They would never give him credit. Marshall Faulk is fluent in speaking facts.
People also forget that Pat won the AFC Championship game and the Super Bowl hobbled with a high ankle sprain that should have made it impossible to play on, along with a depleted and injured wide receiver corps, and a less talented defense.
The defenses that he won against while he was injured weren’t to shabby either.
No one really knows who will win.
Which ever team wants it more and can capitalize on the breaks that come their way will win.

Here is what keeps my hopes up about playing Baltimore. Last year the Eagles had the best defense since the 85 Bears, with a very mobile quarterback, and still lost the Superbowl.

Lamar is so far and away the MVP this year that the bet for MVP has been off the board since week 16. Marshal not seeing his true value this year is crazy, guy beat all the best teams and hung 30 or more 9 out of his last 11 and won 8 of those 9. You have to hope either the Ravens defense doesn't play well or Lamar and the offense are off. Both rarely happened this year. Ravens have Boa constricted most teams that when they get the other team down 14 its already over. Sure, you can hang with the Ravens and KC might, but in the end. Let's just say Ravens won't Biffalo the 4th, they will actually score and finish it off.

Buffalo was abysmal all year and banged up on defense. Miami beat a bunch of bad teams and lost aginst the playoff caliber teams. They also was banged up on defense. This is not the Raven's problem. They beat 9 playoff teams, 7 of which, were blowouts! You can't measure Mahomes or the Cheifs by the last 2 games. They are like Miami, they beat up on bad playoff caliber teams. The Ravens have more weapons than the cheifs can deal with. Especially, since the Chiefs are banged up on defense.
Calling the Steelers and browns playoffs teams is very disingenuous especially since you lost to them twice and Browns once, our defense is better than both by miles 😂😂😂

That was the comment last year with Philadelphia in the Superbowl and Bengals in divisional round. Even heard it about the 49ers way back in 2019 during that Superbowl. And in 2020 with the bucs.

It’s amazing how these guys just out themselves in knots to praise Patrick Mahomes and don’t realize that they are because of this narrative that he is the greatest player ever. He’s very good but he also plays in a very good team and plays for a hall of fame heavy coach. He points out that Mahomes is playing for a new coordinator / play caller and “ hasn’t missed a beat”. Well that may be partially true as my understanding is that the offense that they run is Andy Reid’s. But besides that I’m sure that he has to be aware that Lamar Jackson is running a totally new system with a new coordinator and new play caller and he has excelled in this totally new scheme. But Faulk totally ignores that fact. It just amazes me.

I've been saying this all week: On paper for the season the Ravens has the better team but this is the playoffs and in the playoffs Mahomes and the Chiefs just take it up to 11 on a 10 max dial. They just do, I'm a Chiefs fan but I don't know about this one, the Ravens you got to respect what they have done and are. The Chiefs and the Mahomes you can't count them out and many are so expect to see Mahomes take it up even more. Question is can he lift others around him enough? I think he can but I don't know and that's why they play the game.

You have a problem with mainstream broadcasting, not "old people". There's plenty of good analysis out there, but this show is modeled after old school radio shows, they aren't breaking down stats like Kollman or shouting constantly like McAffee.
