Kurt will always be #1 for me. I remember meeting him at Rams training camp back in Macomb IL early 2000's. He didn't care how long the line was, he sat there and signed for every kid in line. Still have the picture. Always a class act.

As a Steeler fan, it was tough to root against him in that last Super Bowl. That man took a team with no business being in the big game....and the result was one of the greatest games ever played on that stage.....& gave us a run for our money. I will never forget the highs (Harrison) & lows(Fitzgerald🤯) of that game. Would love to see him on a coaching staff.

Kurt has Russ pegged! I can’t argue with him. Russ has gotten away from who he is. He needs to quit trying to be what he isn’t. His game was beautiful. He was unlike any QB I have ever seen.
Russ needs to parlay with his coaches to ensure that he gets enough pass attempts to afford a few more interceptions and a few more throwaways to avoid sacks.

Jackson did have some inaccurate throws and missed an open receiver on the final possession, but you have to be some level of hater to look at that game and come away criticizing him for playing poorly. Dude balled out, especially in a scenario where he's been often rightly criticized in the past, playing in the trail position down a couple of scores. If Isiah Likely has a slightly smaller foot the discussion between Eisen and Warner would be very different.

I got the feeling that in my brothrrs case though, he always saw something in how Russel (to him) was as a person, his personality and how he came off to him. That the main thing. Not always him in plays on the field.
Like he actually thought he was not a great leader or person. He often used to say that he is so performative, if I remember it right he said that he had an ”uncanny valley motivational speaker tax exempt church preacher type”. 😂

@matthewmockabee2410 a lot of those pressures were because Lamar held the ball and was running around the pocket though. Don’t get me wrong he played great most of the game but at the end he had Likely open in the end zone he just had to throw it on a rope to the corner of the end zone and instead he didn’t set his feet he threw a floating lob pass that he didn’t even set his feet to throw and it was a bad throw that luckily didn’t get Likely seriously hurt with a death ball like that. Then every next play he had Zay Flowers wide open in the back of the endzone and threw it behind him. When the game was on the line he missed 2 easy throws for NFL QB’s to make and maybe cause he started to run on both of them and realized the guy is open and threw it. I’m even a Lamar fan but I gotta call it how it is

Stop the crap . This is not back in the day when teams built elite offensive lines . AT least not with the ravens. We had three rookies starting their first NFL game . With all that noise . Lamar made that line look better then it was. The facts are you either have to have an elite offensive line or elite receivers that can get separation quickly. Lamar has neither. If he is such a great analyst, he would have mentioned that . The offense line had Henry running into a brick wall. Lamar had Chris Jones in his face , waiting for a receiver to get open . He had to take check downs because of the pressure. Stop it . Lamar had to be the whole offense. We need balance, and we will get that .when Mahomes had all that pressure in his face in the bucks game, you called it a bad oline , now Lamar has to beat the offensive line. The ravens will be in it .You would think we got blown out .😂😂😂. A toe away .
